Abstract: Education is essential part for human being to advance new civilizations, while having better education definitely is aspiration of many students nowadays. Seeking knowledge in Islam is very important even mentioned in the holy Quran to “Iqra” which means read. Even though it is important, disadvantage students in Malaysia have some challenges to continue their studies into higher educations because of economic issues, and sometimes they struggle to make every endeavors in order to realize to study in the higher learning institution. To overcome students’ complaints on financial issues in their studies, the authors are collecting students’ feedback based on the e-IIUM2WORLD Business Model Canvas (BMC) and Value Proposition Design (VPD) of Islamic economic system from earlier work. A survey was conducted to understand students’ jobs, pains, and gains. This paper proposes a refined conceptual model of scholarship system that can be developed and implemented for underprivileged students, especially those who coming from rural areas that beyond from economic welfares.

Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to gather some empirical finding from the previous paper which is about enhancing the well-being of poor people through Islamic Transformation Centre (ITC), Network of Mosque (NOM), entrepreneurship and Big Data. Stakeholder in this paper are plays a crucial role in enhancing the well-being of poor people. This paper focuses on poor people and how Islamic transformation Centre(ITC) and Network of Mosque (NOM) can improve their well-being. The stakeholders that are involved in this surveys are poor people, government, non-government agencies and also entrepreneurs. This paper is based on literature review, business model canvas (BMC), value proposition design (VPD) and environmental map (EM. A survey was designed and conducted with poor students that receive Zakat from IIUM by using snowball sampling method. In this paper there will have a refined BMC and VPD along with the survey result.

Abstract: This paper shows a protocol for converge casting in wireless sensor networks. It features the cross-layer integration of geographic routing with contention-based MAC for relay selection and load balancing, as well as a mechanism to detect and route around connectivity holes. This technique solves the problem of routing around a dead end without overhead-intensive techniques such as graph planarization and face routing. This protocol is localized and distributed, and adapts efficiently to varying traffic and node deployments. Through extensive ns2-based simulations, we show that this protocol significantly outperforms other converge casting protocols and solutions for dealing with connectivity holes, especially in critical traffic conditions and low-density networks. Our results show this is an energy-efficient protocol that achieves remarkable performance in terms of packet delivery ratio and end-to-end latency in different scenarios, thus being suitable for real network deployments.

Abstract: Cloud computing is a sophisticated technology which provides services to the end users within a fraction of time based on pay-as-you-go model. However energy consumption is one of the major concern in cloud computing as large amount of energy is wasted by the data centres hosting cloud applications and the carbon dioxide gas is released into the atmosphere polluting the environment. So pollution needs to be reduced by lowering the energy usage.  Therefore, we'd prefer to propose a green   computing solution which is not only able to minimize makespan and operational costs however in addition to minimize the environmental pollution. Throughout this paper, we tend to stipulate a framework that specifies energy minimization is a generalization of makespan minimization by using the Energy-Aware Genetic Algorithm Based Task Scheduling Algorithm. During this paper we tried to conduct a survey on different scheduling methods of energy minimization in cloud data centres and their limitations and at the end of this paper we provide a green energy-aware task scheduling algorithm using the Genetic algorithm for Cloud computing datacenters.

Abstract: Link Company (GLC) is company that is own by government by at least 20% of the issued and paid-up capital. The usage of Information Technology in GLC is vital in bringing it as one of potential competitive advantage. Information Technology projects can be a long term or a short term based on the requirement and the scale of the project itself. Project obstacles that lead to failure were caused by different factors and one of the obstacles is the change management. The purpose of this paper is to address the practices of project change management in the context og Government-Linked Company (GLCs) in Malaysia focusing on the Project Management Factors, Change Management Factors, Top Management Factors, Organizational Factors and Process Factors. Furthermore, this paper will evaluate the validity of number of critical failure factors introduced by Walid Al Ahmad. A questionnaire will be distributed to staff in GLCs that is or has involved in IT project management.

Abstract: We will present dictionary and hashing and then a simple concept of cuckoo hashing, its need and how it is better than existing know hashing algorithm. We will also try to analyze the drawback of this algorithm and we will see if we can solve that problem of not. Abstract: This paper presents the classification technique of data mining to identify the class of an attribute with classical decision tree approach (ID3) and then to add fuzzification to improve the result of ID3. This ID3 algorithm has been implemented on weather dataset due to its easiness to use and effectiveness. ID3 algorithm is based on information gain theory and entropy values of each individual attribute. Fuzzy set theory is implemented to represent the dataset with linguistic variable and combines tree growing and cropping to determine the structure of the tree. ID3 shows better accuracy in terms of discrete value. Fuzzy logic resolves this issue for better classification on decision making. Finally fuzzification results showed more accurate classification as compared to classical decision approach.

Abstract: Computer vision is a field that includes methods for acquiring, processing, analyzing, and understanding images and, in general, high-dimensional data from the real world in order to produce numerical or symbolic information, e.g., in the forms of decisions. A theme in the development of this field has been to duplicate the abilities of human vision by electronically perceiving and understanding an image. Understanding in this context means the transformation of visual images (the input of retina) into descriptions of world that can interface with other thought processes and elicit appropriate action. This image understanding can be seen as the disentangling of symbolic information from image data using models constructed with the aid of geometry, physics, statistics, and learning theory. Computer vision has also been described as the enterprise of automating and integrating a wide range of processes and representations for vision perception.

Since the day when human civilization starts, we always exist with some data. Our day to day life deals with some data with or without any reason. But, with the development of the human civilization the rapid growth of the data has already come into the existence. As we live in the twenty first century we exist with a new concept of data which is known as "BIG DATA". In last century the human civilization faced a new concept of manipulating data known as Data Analytics in order to make the business profitable and the life more simple that deals with large volume of data. In this paper we have discussed about different types of data, the problems in the traditional data analytics process. After that we discussed about what is big data and different parameters of big data. Abstract: Cloud computing offers utility-oriented IT services to users worldwide. Based on a pay-as-you-go model, it permits hosting of pervasive applications from consumer, scientific, and business domains. However, data centres hosting Cloud applications consume large amounts of energy, causative to high operational-costs and carbon footprints to the atmosphere. Therefore, we'd prefer to introduce an economical Cloud computing solutions which is able to not only minimize operational costs however in addition to minimize the environmental impact. Throughout this paper, we tend to stipulate a field framework by using the DVFS (Dynamic Voltage and Frequency Scaling). During this paper we tried to conduct a survey on different traditional ways of cloud structure and their limitations and at the end of this paper we provide a green energy-efficient scheduling algorithm using the DVFS technique for Cloud computing datacenters.

Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to collect the findings from data collection and also discussion from results obtained in enhancing the Qur’anic and Entrepreneurship knowledge and skills among youths in term of the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) via Islamic Transformation Centre (ITC). By utilizing the Business Model Canvas (BMC), the findings are gathered based on the customer segments that have been recognized and it will be matched with the Value Proposition Design (VPD). The main focus of customer segment in this study is youth. Data is gathered from the targeted customer segment in order to meet with the objectives of this study. This conceptual paper seeks to put forth a collaboration approach, namely the combined deployment of the Quadruple Helix Model (QHM) mooted by Agency Inovasi Malaysia, the concept of Whole-of-Government (WoG) implementation across the Malaysian Government Agency, also supported by the Network of Mosque (NoM) and the use of ICT. In order to introduce Quranic and entrepreneurship knowledge and skills to the youths effectively, the integration of governments, professionals, academia, industry and citizen supported by the use of ICT are required in order to leverage Quranic and entrepreneurship knowledge and skills. Youths are expected to play an important role for the advancement of Islam as well as the enhancement of societal wellbeing.

Abstract: Most of the cyber security techniques present today have many critical faults. This provides to be an openway for hackers and criminals. Using widespread techniques, hackers and criminals try to gain entry into one’s system using these backdoors. However, gaining entry and retrieving information can be a tedious task for the hackers. Hence they use techniques such as SQL injection and Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) to obtain sensitive data such as password, account no etc. This paper analyses the source code of security patches of widely used web applications written in weak and strong typed languages. Results show that only a small subset of software fault types, affecting a restricted collection of statements, is related to security. To understand how these vulnerabilities are really exploited by hackers, this paper also presents an analysis of the source code of the scripts used to attack them. The outcomes of this study can be used to train software developers and code inspectors in the detection of such faults and are also the foundation for the research of realistic vulnerability and attack injectors that can be used to assess security mechanisms, such as intrusion detection systems, vulnerability scanners, and static code analysers.

Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to propose a conceptual solution in enhancing the well-being of poor people by harnessing on capabilities of information and communication technology (ICT) and entrepreneurship skills via Islamic transformation center (ITC). It will be using Network of Mosque (NoM) as the main channel in providing all the knowledge and skills. This conceptual solution demands for a collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Youth and Sport, Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development, and several Non-Profit Organizations. This paper is based on literature review, business model canvas (BMC), value proposition design (VPD) and environmental map (EM) in enhancing the well-being of the poor people in Malaysia.

Abstract: In todays world, a paper based approach is followed for marking attendance, where the students sign on the attendance sheets. This data is then manually entered into the system. Managing the attendance of the students during lectures is a difficult task and it becomes more difficult during the report generation phase. This is because the process of marking attendance and maintaining the data is not fully automated and manual computation produces errors and also wastes a lot of time. For this reason, the development of Attendance Monitoring System (AMS) using android platform is proposed.
