Abstract: The main object of information system is to provide information to its users that enable decision making process. The essence of this work is the design of an efficient computerized system that replace the manual result processing, that is prone to a lot of paper works and errors. Background to the information processing was given in the light of courses, credit units, manual processing of result and point grading system as it relates to Polytechnic tertiary institutions in Nigeria. The challenges with the manual result processing were identified, and a prototype software application was developed as insight into how future feature solution will look like. The prototype demo was developed by employing the use of Visual Studio for the front end and MySQL relational database for the backend. The solution serves as data repository that would enable the creation of design for customize solution for respective institution.

Abstract: MANET is an infrastructure less communication system. So have to face high challenges dynamically changing of topologies, low transmission power and asymmetric links. Due to link instability, node mobility and frequently changing topologies routing becomes one of the core issues in MANETs. A suitable and effective routing mechanism helps to extend the successful deployment of mobile ad-hoc networks. Most effort has recently been reported to improve reliability and performance of ad hoc network. So the multipath routing protocol has been implemented to achieve higher throughput and reliability than the current single path routing algorithm. Multipath extension of ad hoc on‐demand distance vector protocol can provide reliable and adaptable routes for communication. Many researchers are still working on the developments of MANET routing protocols. Simulation results show better performance in terms of Packet Delivery Ratio and Normalized routing Load in comparison to AODV routing protocol. The simulation work is verified using network simulator version 2.

Abstract: This paper aims to analyse the traffic in 1800 MHz frequency band in the corresponding telecom circles and to find out which one has the highest traffic.There are 23 telecom circles in India and 19 out of them use 4G LTE (1800 MHz) band. Thus, chosen this band. Similarly, common network operators are: Jio, Airtel, Vodafone, Idea.

Traffic analysis enables you to determine the amount of bandwidth you need in your circuits for data and for voice calls. Traffic Measurements are conducted on a continuous basis and the results compiled into reports for management which are used in management decisions on various time scales. The busiest hour is defined as that four consecutive quarter hours whose traffic intensity is the greatest. Measurements taken outside the busy hour can be discarded. The reference intensity of traffic is then calculated by taking the average traffic intensity of the top thirty days in the year. Measurements taken on individual days can be discarded. This will give the normal high traffic intensity in the network, allowing network managers to make long-term strategic decisions.

Abstract: Vehicular ad hoc network (VANET) is a type of mobile ad hoc network (MANET) that forms vehicles as nodes. Routing is the basic fundamental requirement of VANET applications. Therefore, it is necessary to devise a routing protocol that fits well for rapid topology changes and disconnected network conditions. To address these specific needs of VANET, we present a novel greedy routing protocol for vehicular networks called VRPTA that suite well for both city environment and the high way environment. With the help of localisation system named global positioning system (GPS), the proposed protocol is designed to efficiently relay the data in the network by considering different scenarios like road traffic variation and various environment characteristics. The protocol communicates in between vehicles as well as vehicle to infrastructure whichever is applicable, thereby ensuring reliable transmission. In addition, we also consider the information about vehicles speed, direction and density of a city traffic configuration consisting of double direction roads, multi lanes and highway scenario. The work is implemented using NS2 simulator.

Abstract: Integrated Tertiary Software (ITS) systems are popular ERP systems used in some higher education institutions in the world. ITS has gained popularity in some part of the world through its massive adoption in higher education institutions. Despite the rapid adoption and implementation of ITS systems in HEIs, there is little known in literature about their effectiveness. Thus, it is important to investigate whether these systems deliver on their predetermined benefits or not. The purpose of this paper is to assess the effectiveness of ITS systems in higher education institutions through a system integrative approach. Using a mixed-method research, data for quantitative and qualitative were collected and analyzed using partial least square – structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) and inductive thematic analysis. The findings of the study revealed that financial perspective, customer/stakeholder perspective, and system quality perspective have significant influence or positive relationship with the effectiveness of ITS systems evaluation in the Ghanaian higher education. The findings again, revealed that internal business process and learning and growth perspectives have no significant influence with the effectiveness of the ITS systems in the Ghanaian context. In Ghana, studies based on ERP systems evaluations are not available. The ITS system of the university has successfully been evaluated and has proven very effective with the research model.

Abstract: Educational Apps has become an important educational technology component in teaching and communication between the teachers and the students. It makes it possible for students to communicate, learn, collaborate and share ideas among each other with the aid of internet and technology development. This paper aims at exploring students’ attitudes towards the use of MyU App in the Higher Institute of Administrative Service in Kuwait. Finding revealed significate difference among the student’s attitudes towards MyU App with regard to their smartphone. Furthermore, results indicated that educational applications could be one of the promising pedagogical technologies to be employed in educational and communicational environment.

Abstract: A college campus recruitment system that consists of a student login, company login and an admin login. The project is beneficial for college students, various companies visiting the campus for recruitment and even the college placement officer. The software system allows the students to create their profiles and upload all their details including their marks onto the system. The admin can check each student details and can remove faulty accounts. The system also consists of a company login where various companies visiting the college can view a list of students in that college and also their respective resumes. The software system allows students to view a list of companies who have posted for vacancy. The admin has overall rights over the system and can moderate and delete any details not pertaining to college placement rules. The system handles student as well as company data and efficiently displays all this data to respective sides

Abstract: With the popularity of Internet and e-commerce, the number of shopping websites has rapidly increased on the Internet, and this enables people to shop easily through the Internet. An Online farming products and machineries shop that allows users to check for Various furniture available at the online store and purchase online. The main purpose of this project is to help the user to easily search for various farming products and machineries. The admin can add various farming products and machineries to the system and its information. The user may browse through these products as per categories. This system also allows the user to view the selected farming products and machineries description. If the user likes a product he may add it to his shopping cart. Once user wishes to checkout he must register on the site first. He can then login using same id password next time. Now he may pay through a credit card or cash on delivery.  Once the user makes a successful transaction he gets a copy of the shopping receipt.

Abstract: For image based analysis in network implications, an important verified visual representation are applied which are termed as, ‘Convolution Neural Networks’. The existing Convolution Neural  Networks process involves , ‘Time Series Classification’ were an image depicted as the data set are predicted to extract a pattern. Based on this pattern, exact specification to predict a concrete solution are allowed in the existing schemes. To enhance the existing system and to propose novelty in adapting the information security process. The existing system is adapted to undergo the process of appending secrecy bits in the original image are executed in this work. Further the secret pattern orientated image are transmitted to all other participating nodes, which ensures a secured transmission in the networks. After the quantization analysis of the existing models the secrecy image representation has produced considerably significant percentage of 5% increased protection measures with respect to its dataset image representation. Hence the proposed system evaluates the time series classification that are commonly used in Convolution Neural Networks and adopts security enhancement which proves that data are transmitted in a secured manner by utilizing the cryptography methods.

Abstract: India is mainly an agricultural country. Agriculture is the most important occupation for the most of the Indian families. It plays vital role in the development of agricultural country. Water is main resource for Agriculture. Irrigation is one method to supply water but in some cases there will be lot of water wastage. So, in this regard to save water and time we have proposed project titled automatic irrigation system using IOT. In this proposed system we are using various sensors like temperature, humidity, soil moisture sensors which senses the various parameters of the soil and based on soil moisture value land gets automatically irrigated by  ON/OFF of the motor. These sensed parameters and motor status will be displayed on user android application. An  automated irrigation  system  for efficient  water  management  and  intruder detection  system  has  been  proposed.  Soil Parameters  like  soil  moisture,  pH,  Humidity are measured and the Pressure sensor and the sensed  values  are  displayed  in  LCD. The farmer  can  access  the  server  about  the field  condition  anytime,  anywhere  thereby reducing the man power and time.

Abstract: In this paper, a hybrid algorithm has been proposed, which is based on RSA algorithm and Delta encoding technique with the aim of improving security issues and also bring about a total reduction in execution time in message encryption and decryption in cloud computing environment. Security was enhanced by increasing the level of encryption and decryption of messages stored in the cloud at two levels thus making it heterogeneous. The reduction in the total execution time was observed after comparing Key generation time, Encryption time and the Decryption time of the traditional RSA algorithm and the proposed hybrid algorithm based on different exponent sizes of 256, 512, 1024 and 2048. Also, common attacks of the traditional RSA algorithm have been considered to find out the resistance of the proposed hybrid algorithm against these possible attacks.

Abstract: Threat from the insider of corporates is a serious problem since it is very challenging to recognize them from a benign activity. In this paper, we discuss and describing various types of insider threats. Next, we discuss the related work on insider threat mitigation in both technical and non-technical approaches. It is found that tackling insider threat requires both technical, and non-technical approaches to enable qualified detection of threats and seems to lose importance an IT infrastructure is used in performing insider attacks.

Abstract: Education is one of the most important factors for the development and well-being of a country. It reduces poverty, boosts economic growth and increases income. It increases opportunities for young people to lead healthy lives, reduces maternal mortality and fights diseases such as HIV and AIDS. This paper examines the role of humanizing education and how it can contribute to the fight against poverty while enhancing the well-being of youth in Comoros. Also this paper discusses on how humanizing education can contribute to enhancing the youth satisfaction and loyalty to their country. Finally, this paper offers a possible business model of a Malaysian University of the Future for humanizing entrepreneurship education in Comoros in order to nurture youths with the knowledge, skills and virtues. These youths can start their own business; create employment for others, and sustaining harmonious and caring citizens.

Abstract: A light sensor works by reflecting a bright light onto the object and through IR it reflects the brightness of the colour which in turn is converted to a colour, based on its RGB values. This main aim of this paper is to compare results when detecting colours using the colour sensor (rev-31-1154) and the raspberry pi Camera v2.  The colour sensor (rev-31-1154) has a built-in IR (optical) and its main feature is that it allows the user to return all the colour and status data in one read command, which makes the process faster and more accurate.  The PICamera is a powerful tool which not only takes still and moving images but also has the capability to detect colour based on RGB filters. To be able to detect colours using the latter, openCV library will be installed and its functions will be called and modified using python. In order to detect the colours, the same experiment will be set up and tested using the colour sensor and the PI Camera module. To test this experiment various coloured cubes 3cms x 3cms x 3 cms will be placed in front of different coloured squares 5cms x 5cms.  The result of this experiment is to identify the best option which yields the optimum results vis-à-vis accuracy and efficiency will be integrated into our robot and used for the tournament.

Abstract: Mental health has been a rising problem in the current era and the cases reported are increasing every year. Thus, this issue needs to be addressed before it became a cancer to the societies. Many people do not think highly regarding the mental issues, but it was the root cause of any crimes and suicides. This paper tries to offer a new business model for a Malaysian-based university, named Malaysia – University of the Future (MY-UotfF), in providing humanising education as well as strengthening its role in community engagement and transformation activities. This study adapted the design thinking and system thinking approach that involve conducting literature review and interviews in understanding problems; analysing and formulating of business model options using business modelling tools such as Business Model Canvas (BMC) and Value Proposition Design Canvas (VPCs); and validation of the business model options via interviews with stakeholders.  This programme is developed based on the BMC approach which looks at the customer segments, value propositions, channels, customer relationships, revenue streams, key resources, key activities, key partnerships, and cost structures. The key contribution of this paper is a conceptual business model for Malaysia – University of the Future – in the form of validated BMC and VPCs, for implementing and realising the humanising education programmes in MY-UotF. This paper also contributed on how to educate students in MY-UotF to become balanced graduated with healthy mental health and hence contributing to a harmonious and well-being of the community.
