Abstract: This article discusses ways to increase stability and reduce operational costs when using ERP systems as a platform for custom application. It explains the drivers behind a common problem in most implementations. Then, it describe the details of the problem and proposes both short-term and long-term solutions.

Abstract: The are several commercial real-time database security monitoring platforms available in the market. These commercial platforms are mostly available for major databases. They are not readily available for new commercial databases and open source databases. This paper proposes a framework to establish real-time security monitoring for databases that are not supported by any of the commercial platforms.  The framework implements selective native database auditing functionality that forwards audit entries to a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) via the operating system log forwarding daemon. The framework focuses primarily on protecting the database from insider threats.  The solution can be used as permanent or an interim workaround until the database is supported by a commercial platform.

Abstract: In this paper, we make use of the integration by parts for fractional calculus to solve some fractional integrals based on Jumarie type of modified Riemann-Liouville (R-L) fractional derivative. A new multiplication of fractional analytic functions plays an important role in this study. In fact, the method we used is a natural generalization of the integration by parts for classical calculus.

Abstract: The next generation of storage systems will use new NVMe based devices to store huge amounts of data at a very high price. So, storage users will need to use the new flash media very efficiently to ensure a good return on investment. The efficiency of data reduction is also critical for new generation Cloud Storage as the amount of data explodes impacted by huge data sets used by AI systems. The increase in efficiency can be obtained in different ways but mostly by reducing the size of the data written to the storage arrays using novel deduplication and compression methods. But increased efficiency comes at a price of reduced IO performance of the array due to CPU used for data reduction. So, although the new information theory research defined very efficient data reduction methods, most of these methods are targeting archive and backup storage that are less sensitive to IO performance and IO latency than storage systems that perform data reduction in real time or in-line. But we found out that there are ways to use similar techniques, used for backup storage, but optimize them for IOPS and latency performance and achieve a balance between the data reduction and performance of the arrays.

Abstract: With continuously changing operational and business needs of the organizations, Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAO) is the current need of the organizations. Centralized Autonomous Organization (CAO) lack transparency and are managed by few efficient managers whereas Decentralized autonomous Organization's (DAO) is novel scalable, self-organizing coordination on the blockchain, controlled by smart contracts and its essential operations are automated agreeing to rules and principles assigned in code without human involvement. Starting an organization with someone that involves funding and money requires a lot of trust in the people in working with. But it’s hard to trust someone that have only ever interacted with on the internet. With DAOs there’s no need to trust anyone else in the group, just the DAO’s code, which is 100% transparent and verifiable by anyone. This opens up so many new opportunities for global collaboration and coordination. This article develops a proposed measure of autonomy for DAOs.

Abstract: The computational world is becoming very large and complex. Cloud computing has emerged as a popular computing model to support processing large volumetric data using clusters of commodity computers. In today’s world, cloud computing has generated a lot of interest and competition in the industry. With the emergence of new cloud providers, identifying one that best suits the business needs of an enterprise is a challenging and difficult task. for to a novice or user with little knowledge about cloud computing, it is still very hard to make a reasonable choice. In this paper begins with a glimpse of cloud computing. The main aim of this paper is to focus on the various cloud vendor products and services comparison for decision making process of optimal service selection and to provide a brief comparative analysis of various cloud services. This paper also presents a table of comparison of some same products and services for some renowned cloud service providers, some pros, cons and features. finally compare with security algorithms for various cloud vendors.

Abstract: The secure drive was developed to improve the security of the conventional USB flash drive, which is vulnerable to leakages of internally stored data caused by extortion, loss, etc. However, it has been continuously reported that the secure USB flash drive, which protects data through the adoption of a wide range of security technologies in wide-ranging ways, cannot assure data security because of implementation and environmental vulnerabilities, eavesdropping, unlock commands, and reverse engineering. As such, there is growing demand for a more powerful secure USB flash drive to solve these fundamental problems. Therefore, this paper presents a secure USB mechanism that prevents leakages of authentication data and does not compare authentication data for smart human care services, which have been a fundamental problem of existing flash drives.

Abstract: This research explored and proffered solutions based on Virtual Reality Technology, analyzed the importance of using the concept of VR technology in education and assessed the effect of VR technology on student’s overall achievement in some higher institutions in Gombe state. The students were assessed based on some factors and a machine learning model was built using Logistic Regression in order to assess the effectiveness of the two techniques. Based on the data available, the model had a Ninety-two percent (92 %) accuracy in predicting which method was used in teaching the students from the confusion matrix result obtained from our Logistic Regression model.
