Abstract: Image processing is any form of signal processing for which the input is an image, such as a photograph or video frame; the output of image processing may be either an image or a set of characteristics or parameters related to the image. Digital image processing is a type of image processing where the images are manipulated by electric means. Steganography is the art or practice of concealing a file, message, image, or video within another file, message, image, or video. Invisible watermark intended to be imperceptible to the human eye or inaudible. This watermark can only be determined through watermark extraction or detection by computers. The proposed method is invisible watermarking for color and grey scale images, which embed two, secrete images in one color image. This method is intended for use in image security application as well as in copyrights of images.

Abstract: Knowledge management has been viewed as one of the most important developments in the fields of information studies and management in the modern times. By obtaining, organizing, documenting and sharing knowledge, Knowledge management helps complex organisations make better decisions and solve their problems efficiently and effectively. As highest centres of learning, universities should build information infrastructure and create an atmosphere where educational and non-educational staff, students, researchers, patrons and other stakeholders can take part in various knowledge management sharing actions. The role of knowledge workers in this regard is quite important. Abstract: In the recent years ad-hoc sensor networks are used widely in various aspects and has a wide area of application, the scope of wireless ad-hoc sensor network lies widely in its security and the way the data is transferred, in this paper we will implementing various parameters in order to make secure the wireless sensor networks from vampire attacks, which are not protocol specific ,also catapulted various protocols in order to increase the efficiency of sensor nodes battery and the comparison of graphs depict how efficient our implementation is as compared to previous research, also the protocols used are used to make the wireless sensor network robust and the optimized use of sensor nodes battery. We will also be analyzing the causes and effect causing vampire attack and depletion of sensor nodes battery and preventive measures accomplishing our objective, the graph analysis clearly portray our prominent work as compared to previous articles as less energy consumption thus maximizing the performance of sensors.

Abstract: A data warehouse as a storehouse is a repository of data collected from multiple data sources (often heterogeneous) and is intended to be used as a whole under the same unified schema. A data warehouse gives the option to analyze data from different sources under the same roof. If the executive of the company wants to access the data from all stores for strategic decision-making, future direction, marketing, etc., it would be more appropriate to store all the data in one site with a homogeneous structure that allows interactive analysis. In other words, data from the different stores would be loaded, cleaned, transformed and integrated together. To facilitate decision-making and multi-dimensional views, data warehouses are usually modeled by a multi-dimensional data structure. In this paper, we present a framework for selecting best materialized view so as to achieve the effective combination of good query response time, low query processing cost and low view maintenance cost in a specified storage space constraint. The framework implementation parameter includes query frequency cost, query storage cost and query processing cost. The framework select the best cost effective materialize views to optimize the query processing time thereby resulting efficient data warehousing system.

Abstract:  In this paper optical character recognition is used for implementation of an efficient translation and scale invariant optical character recognition with rotation is presented. which is based on transformation of the image triple-correlation domain and appropriate clustering which is one to one related to the class of all shifted-rotated-scaled versions of the input image and also robust to a variety of noises. Special attention is given to binary images and further used for Optical Character Recognition and simulation results show the performance of the proposed implementation.

Abstract: Google File System, a scalable distributed file system is implemented for large distributed data-intensive applications. It provides fault tolerance while running on inexpensive commodity hardware, and it delivers high aggregate performance to a large number of clients. While sharing many of the same goals as previous distributed file systems, this design has been driven by observations of their application workloads and technological environment, both current and anticipated that reflect a marked departure from some earlier file system assumptions. This has led us to reexamine traditional choices and explore radically different design points. The file system has successfully met their storage needs. It is widely deployed within Google as the storage platform for the generation and processing of data used by our service as well as research and development efforts that require large data sets. The largest cluster to date provides hundreds of terabytes of storage across thousands of disks on over a thousand machines, and it is concurrently accessed by hundreds of clients. In this paper, I present file system interface extensions designed to support distributed applications by Google, discuss many aspects of their design, and report measurements from both micro-benchmarks and real world use.

Abstract: This paper looks at the perspective of developing an open learning website at International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). As a university that values excellence in teaching and learning practices, IIUM has to embark on initiatives that make use of the e-learning platforms. With this intention, IIUM’s MOOCs is to be a natural extension of its e-learning initiative, iTaleem. MOOCs at IIUM is designed to offer a taste of what learners may experience in a university’s program and they are not recreations of IIUM’s undergraduate courses. Abstract: Security and identification of a person plays vital role in any industry. There are several ways for utilizing this purpose. One is face recognition. Face recognition is an essential means of confirming a person. The benefit of face recognition is that, it allows us to know the   transformations in the face pattern of a person to considerable limit. This system for recognizing face can tolerate local variants in the face appearance .Hence face recognition system can be used as a key aspect in identifying criminals in crime patrolling. There are numerous techniques to face recognition of which Principal Component Analysis (PCA) is assimilated in our project. For each person, the system contains a database of a set of facial patterns. The distinctive features called ‘eigenfaces’ are obtained from the stored images using which the system is trained for consequent recognition of new images of an individual.

Abstract: Ad hoc networks are a new wireless networking paradigm for mobile hosts. Unlike traditional mobile wireless networks, ad hoc networks do not rely on any fixed infrastructure. Instead, hosts rely on each other to keep the network connected. The military tactical and other security-sensitive operations are still the main applications of ad hoc networks, although there is a trend to adopt ad hoc networks for commercial uses due to thei unique properties. One main challenge in design of these networks is their vulnerability to security attacks. In this paper, we study the threats an ad hoc network faces and the security goals to be achieved.We identify the new challenges and opportunities posed by this new networking environment and explore new approaches to secure its communication. In particular, we take advantage of the inherent redundancy in ad hoc networks — multiple routes between nodes — to defend  routing against denial of service attacks. We also use replication and new cryptographic schemes, such as threshold cryptography, to build a highly secure and highly available key management service, which forms the core of our security framework.

Abstract: XML is commonly used for data exchange over internet so we need to store and query that data efficiently. Since large amount of data is stored in relational database system we need some mechanism for mapping xml data to RDBMS so that we can easily query that XML data.XML is supported by SQL database system. In this paper we propose an algorithm that maps XML data to relational schema by extracting information from XML DTD. Here we are using tree based approach in which nodes of tree will be mapped to a relational table. This enables reuse of technology and provide interoperability between and XML and SQL.

Abstract: Algorithm PTPSPM (a parallel algorithm based on prefix tree for sequence pattern mining) is proposed in order to deal with the speed limited and effectiveness problem of the sequence pattern mining in massive data. In this paper, a new prefix-tree structure and an improved prefix-span algorithm are introduced to mine the local sequence, the global sequence are obtained by merging all the local sequences. A new prefix tree pruning technique is presented to delete the global k-sequence which cannot be attended. PTPSPM algorithm applies project database identifier index table of dynamic scheduling to avoid the processor idle waiting. Additionally, it cites selective sampling techniques to balance the loads between processors. The experiment results demonstrate that PTPSPM algorithm has better execution performance and speedup.

Abstract: High Dynamic Range Image Acquisition (HDRI) is generally based on multi exposure principle for Capturing dynamic range of irradiance which basically works by merging some photographs shot with multiple exposures. Therefore here the Conventional methods which are based on the Performance of HDR construction have been explained That is by Combining multiple images taken with different exposures And Estimating irradiance value for each pixel but few problems have occurred during this which resulted as displacements of images by object movements, Yielding motion blur and Ghosting artifacts as well. So in this paper we have Proposed a method in which Multiple exposure fusion technique is used for Estimating displacements, occlusion and saturated regions though the Use of MAP(Maximum A Posteriori) estimation have also be done  and even  Constructing the motion blur free HDRIs which resulted in Application of new weighting scheme for multiple image fusion.

Abstract: This paper work addresses the problem of unconstrained face recognition from remotely acquired images. The main factors that make this problem challenging are image degradation due to blur and appearance variations due to illumination and pose. In this paper we address the problems of blur and illumination. We show that the set of all images obtained by blurring a given image forms a convex set. Based on this set theoretic characterization, we propose a blur-robust algorithm whose main step involves solving simple convex optimization problems. We do not assume any parametric form for the blur kernels; however, if this information is available it can be easily incorporated into our algorithm. Further, using the SVM classification for illumination variations, we show that the set of all images obtained from a face image by blurring it and by changing the illumination conditions forms a bi-convex set. Based on this characterization we propose a blur and illumination robust algorithm. Our experiments on a challenging real dataset obtained in uncontrolled settings illustrate the importance of jointly modeling blur and illumination.
