Abstract: In recent times mobile applications are increasingly used by people in their day to day life for not only as a tool for convenient communication but also mobile users use various services from mobile applications such as google apps, iPhone apps etc. which either run on the device or on remote server. In MCC each mobile user demands certain level of quality of service (QOS) while they request some services from the cloud. Each mobile user is associated with its interfacing gateway to communicate with the cloud. Bandwidth allocation to these mobile users is a challenging task. As the nodes are mobile in MCC bandwidth shifting is necessary for ensuring QOS guarantee to the mobile nodes. For maintaining QOS guarantee bandwidth shifting alone is not sufficient hence proper redistribution of bandwidth is also necessary because of protocol overhead and spectral efficiency associated with its channel. Bandwidth redistribution problem in MCC is solved by descending bid auction. In proposed scheme named as AQUMR (auction based quality of service guaranteed utility maximization and revenue maximization ) each gateway sums the demands of all the mobile nodes connected to it and submits a bid for the required amount of bandwidth from cloud service provider(CSP). Each gateway maximizes its revenue during the auction process by introducing competition between gateways by setting the demand at different ranges using fuzzy auctioning.

Abstract: MANET’s consists of number of mobile nodes which form special types of mobile networks on fly.  During route discovery employing mobile ad-hoc networks collision and contention occurs which increases overhead of mobile nodes resulting in broadcast storm problem. This may increase end to end delay and reduce packet delivery ratio.  To solve this problem we are using neighbour coverage based rebroadcast which reduces collision and contention of mobile ad-hoc networks in route discovery. A rebroadcast delay is introduced to determine the neighbor coverage knowledge which will help in finding accurate additional coverage ratio and rebroadcast order. In this paper an attempt has been made to compare AODV protocol with proposed NCPR protocol. Simulation results shows our proposed NCPR protocol produces good performance as compared to AODV protocol.

Abstract: Visual cryptography scheme (VCS) is a kind of secret sharing scheme that focuses on sharing the secret images. The basic idea of visual cryptography scheme is to split secret image into number of random shares, here single share does not reveal any information about the secret image but by stacking two shares we can reconstruct the secret image. The underlying operation of the scheme is OR operation. Visual cryptography is one of technique used to encrypt the secret images by dividing the original image into transparencies. The transparencies can be sent to the intended person, and at the other end the transparencies received person can decrypt the transparencies using the tool, thus gets the original image. The proposed Visual cryptography provides the demonstration to the users to show how encryption and decryption can be done to the images. In this technology, the end user identifies an image, which is not the correct image. That is, while transmitting the image the sender will encrypt the image using the application here sender gets the two or more transparencies of the same image. The application provides an option to the end user of encryption. The end user can divide the original image into number of different images. Using the application we can send encrypted images that are in the format of GIF and PNG. The encrypted transparencies can be saved in the machine and can be sent to the intended person by other means.

Abstract:  Success of project based on an accurate SCE is one of the most significant issues in project management. Based on the conducted statistical studies, it has been revealed that a majority of the software projects were not completed within the cost and time schedule on delivery time which leads to dissatisfaction of customers. Previously, a combination of Genetic Algorithm (GA) and Artificial Immune System (AIS) utilized in evaluating metrics and software criteria in SCE. The low accuracy and non-reliable structures of the algorithmic models led to high risks of software projects. So, it is needed to estimate the cost of the project annually and compare it to the other techniques. The Meta-Heuristic algorithms have been developed well lately in software fields and SCE. Meta-heuristic and Particle swarm optimization (PSO) and ABC with SVM solve the problems according to the optimization of the problems and are very efficient in optimizing the algorithmic models and the effective factors in cost estimation. In this paper we have proposed a hybrid model based on GA and ABC for optimization of the effective factors’ weight in NASA dataset software projects.

Abstract: In current era of technology, geospatial applications play a significant role in finding route information between source and destination. Various works has been carried out to find optimal path, between two geographic locations. Other than finding shortest path, several applications have contributed effort on finding optimal path by considering temporal factor such as traffic condition. The traffic of a route depends on certain time slot, events occurring in the city and one important factor is weather condition. However, in existing researches not much effort has been given on determining optimal path based on weather condition. This paper provides an approach to determine optimal path between two locations that considers the current weather condition. One of the important factors is water clogging on the roads due to rainfall, and flood. A fuzzy logic based approach has been used to find out severity of the water clogging over the roads. In the proposed approach, a set of paths between two locations is determined using spatial topological reasoning. The optimal path from the available set is determined based on shortest distance and severity of water clogging. A case study focused on Mumbai city, India has been presented to show the efficacy of the proposed approach.

Abstract: A Denial - of - Service attack (DoS) is when someone tries to stop someone else from viewing parts of the internet. To avoid this problem earlier uses Multivariate Correlation Analysis (MCA) for accurate network traffic characterization by extracting the geometrical correlations between network traffic features. Our MCA - based DoS attack detection system employs the principle of anomaly - based detection in attack recognition.. Neuro - fuzzy sytems is proposed as subsystems of the ensemble. Sugeno type Neuro - Fuzzy Inference System has been chosen as a base classifier for our research.  Single classifier makes error on different training samples. So, by creating the classifiers and combining their outputs, the total amount of error can be reduced and the detection accuracy can be increased. The proposed Adaptive Neuro -Fuzzy Inference based system will be able to detect an intrusion behavior of the networks. The experiments and the evaluations of the proposed method were performed. The results show that our system outperforms two other previously developed states- of- the-art approaches in terms of detection accuracy.

Abstract: The Semantic Web is an emerging technology which aims at making data across the globe semantically connected. The data is represented in a very simple statement like construct having a subject, predicate and an object. This can be visualized as a graph with the subject and the object as nodes and the predicate as an edge connecting the two nodes. When many statements like these are collected together they forms an RDF graph. There are RDF query languages to query such data, and SPARQL is one of them. According to the SP2 Bench performance benchmarks, the SPARQL queries are very slow for RDF data with millions of triples. Hence, we aim to develop a Implementation of query System on hadoop using Map reduce technique and RDF Data model of parallelization and hypothesize that this system will outperform the scalability and performance reported by the SP2 Bench. We extend ARQ, an open source SPARQL query engine provided by the Jena framework, to work with the Hadoop Map Reduce framework and implement distributed SPARQL query processing. This thesis provides the detailed implementation and algorithmic details of our work. We contribute two novel methods to optimize RDF query engine which exploits document indexes and a join pre-processing technique. The experimental results show the merits and demerits of using Map Reduce for distributed RDF query processing and provides us a clear path for future work.

Abstract: Cloud computing is a technology that provides the processing huge amount of data which depend on sharing computing resources like networks, servers, storage, applications, and services. The end-to-end location privacy has been neglecting in the field of cloud computing. Location privacy deals with the hide the location of source and high end server from the hackers by providing those fake locations so that hackers can utilize their maximum time to search the fake location instead of original location of source and destination or high end server. This dissertation has focus on various end-to-end location privacy techniques like forward random walk, bidirectional tree, dynamic bidirectional tree and zigzag bidirectional tree that can be applied in cloud computing. The paper has shown that the location privacy is required for cloud computing environment especially for public clouds network because user used to store his or her critical data on the cloud so cloud security is essential issue in the cloud computing.

Abstract: In secure instantiation generic framework, password authentication is the most common authentication system. Passwords provide a convenient and inexpensive methodology. However, remembering multiple passwords and changing them frequently lead to the usage of lower entropy passwords which are susceptible to adversaries’ guessing attacks. In this paper, a new multi-factor authenticated key exchange scheme, which combines with biometrics, image recogonization, password and the smart card, is proposed. Compared with the previous schemes, this scheme has higher security in remote authentication and preserves privacy of biometrics, and most of the previous schemes rely on the smart card to verify biometrics. The advantage of these approaches is that the user’s biometrics is not shared with the remote server, which can resist insider’s attack and preserve the privacy of the biometrics. The disadvantage is that the remote server must trust the smart card to perform authentication, which leads to various vulnerabilities. To achieve multifactor authentication, a new function called one-way function with distance-keeping, which is used to preserve privacy of user’s biometrics, is introduced. This scheme has advantages as multi-factor authentication, privacy preserving and lower communication complexity etc. It is proven secure under the random oracle and is suitable to the environment which lacked communication resource and needed higher security.

Abstract: Cloud computing provides services to internet by utilizing resources of the computing infrastructure to provide different services of the internet. It allows consumers and businesses to use applications without installation and access their personal files at any computer with internet access. A distributed storage system for managing structured data at Google called Big table. Big table is designed to reliably scale to peta bytes of data and thousands of machines. Big table has achieved several goals: wide applicability, scalability, high performance, and high availability. Big table is used by more than sixty Google products and projects, including Google Analytics, Google Finance, Personalized Search, Google Earth and many more. In this paper a review is done to analyze the cloud performance on data stored at data centers.

Abstract: Cloud computing is a distinct environment that is designed for sharing computing resources and services. It allows costumers and organizations to use its services without installing any software. It allows them to use cloud resources without investing in infrastructure and training personnel. But this technology suffers from the problem of different kinds of attacks.  DDoS attacks are a critical threat to the cloud environment. Various traditional methods had been applied to mitigate them but due to their low efficiency and low storage capacity made these traditional approaches less useful and popular. So, in this paper we propose a dual mechanism in which packets are first filtered using their hop counts and then packets those are filtered are passed through the second phase of the mechanism in which packets are discarded on the basis of score calculated using the score also known as the conditional legitimate probability(CLP). The idea is to prioritize the packet based on this score which estimates the legitimacy of the given packet. Once the score is computed the packets will be selectively discarded on the basis of the static threshold.

Abstract: With the development of internet enormous web pages have generated. It is very much critical for user to access web pages that satisfy user demands. Hence ranking of pages come into role to provide relevant information to cater their needs. Important pages receive a higher PageRank and are more likely to appear at the top of the search results. The PageRank of a page is defined recursively and depends on the number and PageRank metric of all pages that link to it. This article provides an acquaintance of traditional weighted page rank algorithm. Then we propose a new method to yield more accurate positive results. Firstly, we adding the concept of duplicate links. In addition to that, we accumulate visitors’ action performed per web page. Secondly, priority is assigned to each action .After analyzing priority, rank is updated. Following that by incorporating the concept of gini index of SPRINT algorithm, improved method turns out to be better than traditional page rank algorithm. Gini index provides weightage to each action. The relevancy of the webpages returned is more because the user behavior is also considered to rank the webpages.

Abstract: When a user input a query, intelligent search engine can suggest a list of related queries. Query recommendation is the method to improve the search results on web. This paper presents the method of mining the search engine query log to get the fast query Recommendation from large scale. In this, a formula is applied to fast recommend the most related queries for the user with useful information. For this, technology used for allowing query recommendation is query log which contains the attributes like query name, document which contains  term occurred in the document , normalization factor, inverse document frequency and it also helps in  minimize the retrieval time of user submitted query. As a result it shows the user most relevant queries to make user to find the query easily and satisfy their needs.

Abstract: People with less knowledge such as farmers, labours elderly for whom it is very difficult to identify the screen text, as they are not aware of English language and lack of computer knowledge where the keyboard and mouse may not be an appropriate means of communication between systems. So it would be a real relief to have the option to use ears to listen to the contents and use Hindi keypad to navigate and control the computer systems. Microsoft has designed an interface called SAPI (Speech Application Programming Interface) which supports dynamic speech input and output, and is integrated in our current operating systems. With the API it is possible to develop speech enabled applications without caring about the details of synthesis and recognition. In this paper, we are present a Hindi Speech Output Enabled Windows Application to demonstrate the use of speech output by processing the query in hindi as input using Microsoft SAPI in Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and DLL name is speechlib.dll.
