Abstract: This is an approach for image enhancement and denoising with advanced rendering of media such as digital image. Lack of contrast is the main drawbacks in high resolution image creation. Our proposed system is, initially an input in any format is given. Then high signal frequency sub-image is obtained by multi-wavelet transformation, now the image is denoised using inverse stationary wavelet transform and later the image is  reconstructed through inverse wavelet transform. Lastly, contrast is enhanced and edge is detected and subtracted with the processed image this will sharpen the image. Sobel and Laplacian filter are used for image sharpening. To show the performance of the system some important parameters are graphed.

Abstract: Due to great development in the recent technologies there is a major challenge for battery usage and secure data transfer on mobile platform. The solution to conserving battery power lies in using communication means that guarantee the confidentiality, authentication and integrity of communications. Reliable and secure communication can be achieved using cryptography and authentication protocols. In the current study, comparative analysis of battery usage is shown by using Rivest-Shamir-Adleman (RSA) and Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) algorithms to achieve end-to-end encryption. Pulse rate and body temperature are the basic parameters for monitoring and diagnosing human health. In order to secure these vital parameters cryptographic algorithms are implemented.

Abstract: The comparison of software test methods only makes sense if the sound theory relates the properties in comparison to the actual software quality. Existing comparisons typically use anecdotal fundamentals without the need for quality and compare methods based on technical terms that define the methods themselves. In the worst-case work, a method whose effectiveness is unknown is used as the standard for evaluating other methods! Causal Testing, as a method that can relate to quality, both in the conventional sense of statistical reliability and the stricter sense of Software Assurance, offers the possibility for a valid comparison.

Abstract: One theory with component based software technology is that the software module consumers, that is the software system producers, can reduce their effort needed for, among other things, verification of their module based software systems compared to traditional custom developed systems. However, to achieve this goal, software module producers must ensure a high, documented and trusted quality of their commercial components. Otherwise the effect will be the opposite. It should be easier to put together ready-to-use software module in systems than to develop everything from basic on, but if a software component used is of poor quality, the system verification process can be very difficult, time consuming, and therefore expensive. Traditional verification and validation techniques are still important to ensure software quality, especially for software component producers. Detailed specifications of the software and thorough reviews of these specifications provide a way to confirm the functionality and quality of the components so that they can be trusted by the component consumers. So a defined software development process and corresponding development methods and tools guarantee a high software quality. For component consumers, software verification is not like a traditional confirmation. Software bugs can not be found and corrected by conventional debugging techniques because most of the source code is not available. Instead, a more research-like technique needs to be used to find bugs and workarounds to avoid them.

Abstract: Project implementation process is multifaceted, usually necessitates extensive and collective attention to a comprehensive aspect of budgetary, technical and human variables. In addition, projects often need a specialized set of critical success factors (CFS) which if managed and given appropriate attention improves the probability of successful execution. Nairobi County has invested significant capital in IT projects but intended objectives have not been realised. The purpose of this project was to explore critical success factors of technological projects in Nairobi County. This was achieved by determining the effect of risk factors on the success of information technology projects and client vendor collaboration factors on the success of information technology projects in Nairobi County. In addition, the research sought to determine leadership factors on success of information technology besides examining expertise coordination factors on success of information technology projects in Nairobi County. A quantitative research design was used where data was collected by using a questionnaire. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used in data analysis. The study revealed that risk management tools have not been used optimally at the county level IT projects. However, there is adoption of a systemic and holistic view that ensures there is cooperation, steady flow of information and focus on competency on the part of suppliers. As well, expertise outsourcing is crucial in IT projects since it has a positive influence on their success. Therefore, risk management should become part of the culture of IT projects and there should be client supplier relation procedures to enhance collaboration. Also, project leaders should consider the opinions of subordinates in the decision-making process and to improve on the skill set in the projects, there is need for expertise outsourcing.

Abstract: Recently, it was proposed by Cai a new semantic/syntactic/episodic neural model of language, newly encompassing the sentential meanings to the linguistic processes, while deriving three feasible principles from this model to direct machine translation respectively. First, it was necessary to establish the dictionary for translation of words/phrases. Second, it was necessary to read out and translate the grammar of language. Third, it was necessary to determine one correct meaning of some words of multiple meanings by matching them with the episodic/statistical associations with others. Later, it was even shown possible to add some new types of episodic associations for application of this linguistic model to machine translation, such as: (1) Classifying the living/natural words and phrases by behavior, adopting both the zoological/ organizational/physical and affective/behavioral/logic/characteristic/changing characters to classify the nouns and verbs, helpful to discerning the episodic associations with other words within the sentence or clause. (2) Classifying the sentence/paragraph into the category of natural/social subjects like physics, biology, art, economy, and so on. (3) Collecting the frequent episodic word-pairs for machine translation. Meanwhile, it was recommended to use the episodic symbolization to mark these characters of words in computer following the corresponding words, such as ⊥,<>, and so on. It is a perspective significant breakthrough from neurolinguistics to machine translation.

Abstract: Mobile technologies are everywhere these days from home to large enterprise corporate networks due to the portability and flexibility of use, user’s convenience, avoidance of wiring cost and constant mobility support. However, the greater availability of mobile phone and proliferation of its application means increased danger of attacks and increased challenges to all concerned users, manufacturers and mobile software developers, and IT security professionals. This paper discusses the various security issues and vulnerabilities related to the Mobile Technology with emphasis on Mobile Smartphone SMS and proffer encryption standard apps design as possible mitigating techniques/ measures against common threats/attacks. This also identified the some user’s attitude that subjects them to attacks. Finally, it provided an SMS app with overall guidelines and recommendation to users.The methodology used is survey of literature on related works as it relates to mobile SMS and artifact design of an encryption software application useful for securing mobile SMS messages in an android operating system. The research artifact was tested on android phone using two compatible phones engaged in sending and receiving of SMS messages using symmetric encryption “Advanced Encryption Standard) with earlier agreed secret keys between the sender and the receiver and the result showed a successful concealed SMS communication between the platforms that required decryption key to read.

Abstract: Malevolent program (viruses) has been around since the mid 1980s. Over 40,000 different viruses have been cataloged so far and the number of viruses is increasing dramatically. The damage they cause is estimated to be several billions of U.S. dollars per year. Most often, the origin of the virus is difficult to trace. Various kinds of anti-virus software have been developed which detect viruses and take corrective actions. The anti-virus software needs to be continually updated to cope with newer types of viruses. The proliferation of the Internet and Web, have enabled viruses to spread quickly on a massive scale, by taking advantage of several security loopholes. The continual challenge is to have quick and effective responses to these virus attacks.

Abstract: This project is used to create an android application for sorting the students' results of a university. This project is used for sorting the grades of individual students of the university. The sorted results' will mainly be categorized into three: viewing the results of the entire class, viewing the results of a particular subject or viewing results of a particular student. After sorting, the results can be easily viewed in each one of the above stated manners. By viewing the results in such various manners the faculty can easily list out or group the slow learners and help them out by giving extra attention. This will in turn benefit the students. This project can be further improvised as it can also be created as a hybrid application which in future can be used as desktop application, web application or a mobile application. This project can be used in future by any university for analyzing the results of the entire university and can even further examine the subjects where many students have arrears and accordingly prepare for giving more assistance in those subjects to all the students. In this manner the university can work towards improving the quality of the education they provide and can support their students in a better manner.

Abstract: Ovarian cancer is a cancer that forms in or on an ovary. It results in abnormal cells that have the ability to invade or spread to other parts of the body. Earlier diagnosis of Ovarian Cancer saves enormous lives, failing which may lead to other severe problems causing sudden fatal end. Its cure rate and prediction depends mainly on the early detection and diagnosis of the disease. The ovarian cancer can be detected in the early stage by the statistical approach to interpret the change in levels in women's blood of the protein CA125, which is linked to ovarian cancer. Now the computer aided method combined with the medical field to provide the better treatment for the cancer patient by using data mining techniques. This is mainly used to predict the levels of the ovarian cancer. This can be predicted with the help of dataset which contains the gene names which affect the ovary and the sample tested values. Thus the aim of the paper is to provide the optimal solution to predict the ovarian cancer.

Abstract: the paper explains the structure and development in the field of multilevel security system. Consequences in control and protection are one of the most essential components of any system or organization in an increasingly hacking environment. Protection in layers is also necessary. To access or reach the inner most circles, there are mainly three stages of security system required, in order to make primary level of security. It can be Hex Keypad, Bluetooth, and RFID. The secondary system is completely separate from the primary system, which mainly uses scanning of fingerprint. Any act of breaking the security system will be detected and will alert the authorities with the help of a GSM Shield, and takes the necessary response immediately. Online streaming is used along with continuous surveillance is also demonstrated using Raspberry Pi and a digital camera, further safeguarding the valuables. In the above context, understanding the misuse of the potential misuse of the information that are related to risks such as homes and end-users and also forming methods for security enhancement of measures in the design that are not straightforward and requires a substantial investigation.
