Abstract: The behaviors of the consumers in the services sector have been changing radically during the most recent quite a while. The reason is all services firms have enhanced their existing systems and concoct innovative plans to pull in the new demographic and gain the customer reliability. Therefore, such as banking and telecom industry, insurance industries need to study their customers and their changing behaviors. The simple idea of the insurance business requires knowing wellbeing histories, life histories, recipient information and more about the statistic profile of the imminent customers. In the post progression of insurance showcase in India; one factor that adds to the general execution of insurance players is Customer Relationship Management (CRM). Because of the increase in number of insurance players and rising awareness along with customers about various items, organizations in the insurance sector understand the significance of CRM. CRM consent insurance sectors to authorize the marketing divisions to recognize and focus on their best customers, oversee marketing efforts with clear objectives and goals, and create quality leads for the business group. In this paper, creator endeavors to break down the impression of customers and employees of insurance organizations and their CRM practices and likewise the study includes understanding how well do they deal with their Customer Relationships and to study how empowered are the employees of the organization to deliver superior service. The information gathered for the study is simply on auxiliary premise gathered from different course books, diaries like IRDAI diary, visited libraries for gathering information.

Abstract: Knowledge management is an inseparable part of continuous performance improvement. Due to the changing business environment today, organizations are dealing with the challenges of global competitiveness. In the face of such challenges, KM suggests a great potential to the organizations to be as effective as possible. KM refers to the optimization of organizational knowledge to achieve high performance, increased value, competitive advantage and return on investment, through the utilization of several tools, processes, methods and techniques. The companies without KM systems would not have the ability to maintain a competitive advantage and will lose market share to the firms applying KM. Many IT organizations are facing knowledge based competition, therefore they have started to re-examine and rearrange their culture and business process, restructuring and reviewing their technological infrastructure to compete with the trend. The research is undergone by considering the selected IT companies at Chennai referring the Tamil Nadu state as the geographical area.

Abstract: Heteropneustes fossilis was exposed to sub-lethal concentration of Lead nitrate (131.23 mg/L) for 15 days and 30 days in order to find out its toxic effect on serum cholesterol. A significant (P<0.001) loss equivalent to 11.6 % and 13.26 was recorded on 15 days and 30 days treatment period.

Abstract: According to modern researchers ferroelectric ceramics show good insulating behaviour and are widely used as base materials for composite film and high frequency resistors. So it requires a meticulous analysis of transport properties of these materials. Sr₅NdTi₃V₇O₃₀ is a lead free Tungsten Bronze ceramic prepared by high temperature solid state reaction route. Room temperature XRD study confirms single-phase orthorhombic structures The SEM study of the sample showed no structural variation, non-uniformly distributed grain. Dielectric study reveals that there is no phase transition within the observed experimental temperature range. But presence of hysteresis loop confirms the ferroelectric nature of the sample. Various conduction mechanisms are observed in ferroelectrics. In this paper emphasis is given on the study of dielectric and electrical conductivity. The frequency dependent a.c. conductivity obeys the Jonscher’s power law. The nature of variation of dc conductivity with temperature suggests Arrhenius type of electrical conductivity.

Abstract: This study compares the average frequencies of EEGs’ baseline activity among children who present learning disabilities with and without a mild cognitive impairment. The study aims to verify, 1) whether the average frequency calculation is a mathematical quantifier capable of presenting differences between these EEGs, which was not observed by visual analysis, 2) comparing the differences between the two groups. Procedures: The average frequency was calculated for electrodes in six areas on the scalp: frontal, temporal and centro-occipital for the right and left sides. Results: In all analyzed regions, the average frequencies was lower for the group with a mild cognitive impairment, and these differences were statistically significant for the left frontal, right frontal, left temporal, right temporal and left central-occipital regions. Conclusion, 1) The average frequency’s calculation of EEGs with regards to learning disabilities children with and without mild cognitive impairment is able to identify quantitative differences for the two groups, 2) learning disabilities children with mild cognitive impairment present lower average frequencies in their EEGs than learning disabilities children without mild cognitive impairment.

Abstract: This study sought to find out the nexus between central-local relations and land policy implementation in the Districts of Kasese, Sheema and Bushenyi in Uganda since the Uganda National Land Policy (UNLP) 2013. Using mixed methods design data was collected from 436 participants and respondents. It was analysed using SPSS 23 for quantitative analysis and general content analysis for qualitative analysis. The study found out that central-local relations are dissatisfactory and are in need of addressing so they can lead to good land policy implementation. The study also found out that customary institutions and practices are intervening in land policy implementation and should be further addressed for better land policy implementation. The study recommended: harmonizing existing laws and regulations with the UNLP 2013; to further decentralize land rights administration and delivery of secure land rights by engaging and integrating customary land institutions and practices as required by the UNLP 2013 to allow for further local participation; divorce politics from administration; standardize information by developing and disseminating an operational manual; improve communication; develop a code of conduct and professional standards; decentralize and improve training; stakeholder mapping; implement the monitoring and evaluation framework of the UNLP 2013; capacity building; fast forward the creation of an autonomous agency in charge of land and enable it operate using a private sector model that will generate and reinvest funds to provide for the untimely funds, lack of funds and to ease auditing and accountability of the land sector; lastly customary institutions and practices should be studied and all compatible practices with the UNLP 2013 integrated into land policy implementation.

Abstract: Schiff base metal complexes of amoxillin such as [Cu(amoxbenz)2].2H2O, [Zn(amoxbenz)2].2H2O, [Ni(amoxbenz)2].6H2O and  [Fe(amoxbenz)2(H2O)Cl].5H2O.have been synthesized and characterised by elemental analysis, IR ,UV-Visibe, ESR, NMR,XRD spectrscopic techniques. Thermal analysis was studied by TGA, DSC method. Morphological studies were carried out by scanning electron microscopic method. DNA binding studies was carried out by viscosity method .From the spectral studies a square planar geometry was proposed for the copper complex. In conclusion, prepared complexes showed enhanced DNA binding tendency than the parent drug that might be of interest for future research.

Abstract: We have studied the effect of low dose gamma irradiation on CuO  have been prepared by sol gel method and the Polyaniline (PANI) - CuO composites can be synthesized by the method of polymerization. The obtained CuO and PANI-CuO composite powders were irradiated with energetic gamma ray of dose rate 11 Gray per minute at room temperature. The radiation induced changes in the structural, morphological and optical properties of CuO and polymer composite were analyzed with X-ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning electron microscope (SEM), Ultra violet -Visible spectroscope (UV-Vis), and Fourier transform infrared spectroscope (FT-IR). The XRD spectrum shows that the crystalline nature of sample is still present after irradiation and the corresponding 2θ values are shifted to higher side and the particle size will be increased. The morphological changes due to the gamma irradiation were confirmed by SEM images. The UV absorption spectra revealed the absorption edge and the corresponding band gap values were correlated. The FTIR spectrum shows the vibrational modes are changing as a result of irradiation.

Abstract: Field Experiments were conducted to evaluate the bioefficacy of neem products and phosphamidon (0.05%) against, Pyrilla perpusilla (Leaf happer). Out of seven neem based insecticides, viz., Nimbecidine 2% NSKE (Neem Seed Kernel Extract) 3%, Neemazol 2%, Rakshak 2%, Achool 2%, Neemgold 2%, Neemol 2% none was superior to two chemical synthetic insecticides, viz, phosphamidon and endosulfn. However, Neem Seed Kernel extract and Nimbecidine were found better. Bioefficacy of neem products against Pyrilla perpusilla, were conducted the experimental village, Rampur Rudra, Distt. Chapra (Saran), Under P.G.Deptt. of Zoology (Entomological Laboratory), Jagdam College, Chapra (Saran), Jai Prakash University, Chapra (Saran) Bihar, during 2010-2012.

Abstract: Every brand wants to position its name on consumer's mind. Based on the position of some detergent brands of India in consumers mind a study has been conducted over 500 respondents. The objective of the study is to find out the impact of the considered variables i.e. Advertisement, Price, Self-image, Word of Mouth, Quality, Packaging & Labeling, Overall Performance, Product line(variety) on perceived ranks of the said detergent brands given by the consumers. This study is based on primary data which is collected through one to one survey or interview method. The data set of 500 respondents has been gone through the reliability test and then intercorrelation between perceived values of the detergent brands and the respective variables have been studied. Here we have identified a linear model to measure overall impact of considered variables to predict higher or lower brand equity of a detergent brand.

Abstract: Okra is an associate of the mallow family which is related to cotton, hibiscus and hollyhock and it was extracted from the pods of hibiscus esculents using acetone as a solvent. The solution of okra gum in water has the highest viscosity among all the natural polysaccharide exposed till date. The extracted okra gum was further modified to okra phosphate which was further converted to hydroxyl propyl okra phosphate by using 3- chloro propionic acid. Reaction parameters such as reaction temperature, reaction time, volume of sodium hydroxide and amount of 3-Chloropropionic acid were optimized. Physical and chemical characteristics such as solubility, pH, moisture content and viscosity were observed for okra phosphate and hydroxylpropyl okra phosphate. Further extracted okra phosphate and of hydroxy propyl okra phosphate were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy.

Abstract: The constitution of India provides for free and compulsory primary education for all children upto the age of fourteen, irrespective of caste, creed, sex and religion. The core of Human Resource Development is education, which plays a remarkable role in the socio-economic development of the Country. Development of the citizens is depend on the quality basic education leads to a better quality life. Good quality education is the foundation of new discoveries, knowledge, innovation and entrepreneurship that trigger growth and prosperity of the individual as well as that of a nation. Government has started SSA in a mission mode program to provide elementary education to all children between the age of 6-14. Program succeded to a large extent but the girls children could not achieve its objectives properly. The achievement of girls children is low. The government takes various programmes to achieve the goal. This paper highlights achievement of girls children under sarva shiksha abhiyan.

Abstract: Employee retention plays a vital role in an Organization as a result of it affects worker performance. The aim of this study is to look at the result of worker retention methods specifically worker contribution, worker education, job protection, work atmosphere, worker incentive and the worker-employers relationship on worker retention and employee performance. The study results discovered that specifically worker contribution, worker coaching, job protection, work atmosphere, worker incentive and the worker-employers relationship has a positive result on worker retention also as employee performance. The theoretical framework of this study would encourage the businesses and their employers to constitutes their workers as  vital resources as they're troublesome to retain and expensive to accumulate. Abstract: Hospital Nurses have to manage with their emotions and the emotional expressions to provide care to patients, and their behaviour and actions pass all the way through emotional labour (EL). However, EL appears to be a less appreciated aspect of caring work. But with increasing contribution of service sector, the aspect of emotional labour is getting more importance. Emotional labour in nursing is a multi factorial aspect that is been surrounded by various antecedents and consequences that in turn impact the functioning of nursing professionals. Abstract: Since its inception and evolution, commodity derivatives markets have faced intermittent hurdles, leading to ban on a number of commodities off and on. Even after recommendations of expert committees and modifications in trading methods and full-fledged allowance of futures trading in 2003, jute futures trading was banned soon after the allowance. However it was resumed after gap of a year. Thereafter again pleas of its ban are pronounced owing to the rise in prices of jute. This paper studies the impact of the previous ban to understand whether another ban can actually cool down the jute prices. The paper does so by investigating whether the spot prices and volatility of the spot price increases when the derivative traders are functional in the markets.
