Abstract: This paper centers around building data related to the energy consumption and water consumption by analytical estimation which displays a breakdown of residential power vitality and water utilization information, identifying the elements of apartment buildings which are related to electricity and water use and demonstrate energy consumption forecast based on the proposed case study. In order to verify the patterns of electricity and water consumption in relation with apartment buildings, I will be collecting data from an apartment building. Weather history data, relative humidity and building information such as floor number, type of apartment units, and total area of each apartment unit will also be collected in order to analyze their impact on the consumption of energy and water in the apartment building. By conduction this analysis, the relationship between building information factors and energy consumption will be determined and can be essential for establishing a low energy consumption style apartment as well as establishing a real estate policy on housing pricing based on energy and water consumption. With the expense of energy and water consumption expanding (both financially and biologically), property holders need to discover approaches to check utilization and how the building factors affect consumption.

Abstract: Sexual behavior is the core of sexuality matters in adolescents and youths. In adolescents and young people risky sexual behavior has been recognized as an important health, social and demographic concern in the developing world. It is a priority public health concern because of the high prevalence of HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted infections (STIs) among this age group. The main objectives were to assess the knowledge and attitudes towards sexuality and sexual behaviours among the University students and to understand the socio economic and demographic differentials on sexual behaviours. The data for the present study is a primary data collected from International Male students of Annamalai University of Tamil Nadu. A simple random sample has adopted to select the sample population from the 720 male students who were studied in 2015-2016.  The total sample size was 235. Statistical tools like cross tabulation and Chi-square have been applied. The result shows that all the respondents were ever heard about STIs knowledge. But regarding particular symptoms, they had poor knowledge among the respondents. Little more than one-third of the respondents (37.0 %) were known about burning sensation followed by ulcer (27.7 %) and itching as symptoms. Overwhelming majority (81.1 %) of the respondents have knowledge through internet and more than half (55.3 %) have learnt from friends. Nearly eighty percent of respondents belong to age ≤20 have reported of have sexual relationship (intercourse) before marriage but in the case of age 26+ respondents, it was ninety two percent. Here more than half of the respondents (57.0 percent) have reported of practice of masturbation among the study respondents. Among the various independents variables age, religion, family types and monthly family income were significantly associated with dependent variable of sexual practice before marriage than the rest of variables and variables, like birth order, father’s occupation was significantly associated with the practice of masturbation among the respondents. Mother ‘education is more important to teach their children about sex education during adolescent.

Abstract: Education is the cornerstone for the integral development of any society and it is the prime requesite for the empowerment of the disadvantaged sections of our society. So that in Indian constitution article 46 states that the state should promote with special care, the education and economic stability of the weaker sections of the people particularly the scheduled castes and Scheduled Tribes. In this article deatl with the educational levels of Paniya tribe and their development as the impact of Oorukoottam,the tribal beneficiary group. As paniya tribe is one of the major tribal communities, the most vulnerable group in Wayanad needs a special care and recognition by the central and state governments through a systematic and scientific approach for their total empowerment. Oorukoottam the tribal grama sabha as a decentralized form of government in tribal hamlets can empower the tribal community to the mainstream only when it is to be restructured and redefined.

Abstract: For any production there are needed four inputs – land, labour, capital and management. But it is interesting that in agricultural production another input is most significant that is pollinator. Pollinators help to pollinate the maximum flowers of this planet Earth. Pollinators like bees, butterflies, dragonflies and so others are day by day disappearing around the world. Not only in city but this situation also are happening in villages. It most responsive reasons behind this crucial situation are enormous pressure of urbanisation, rapid industrialisation, unscientific usages of pest control materials in farms and few others. But almost all people know that these small insects are very much helpful for pollination. It is beyond our imagination that three-quarters of our important food crops need bee pollination. It is estimated that 80 percent of flowering plants are depending more or less on insect pollination and half of the pollinators of tropical plants are bees. The present study is aimed to know the position of beekeepers of West Bengal for providing pollination service. This study also wants to identify the external problems which are associated with beekeepers of West Bengal for providing this pollination service. Abstract: This paper was designed to review the existing literature on burnout. It provides an understanding of burnout concept, process and its consequences on Individual as well as organisational level. The paper also categorises the predictors of burnout such as organisational, job related, occupational as well as socio-demographic characteristics.  It also noted that systematic inquiries on burnout in Indian conditions are inevitable. Hence, the paper brings up new grounds for further studies in burnout.

Abstract: The system mainly deals with cylinder lubrication of a 2-stroke marine diesel engine. Since the current cylinder lubrication system has major drawbacks, which are due to the presence of sulphur in fuel. The sulphur do not get perfectly neutralized because of the low Total Base Number (TBN) value of cylinder lubricating oil used. The non-neutralized left over sulphur in fuel develops severe problems in engine operation and thus reduce the efficiency of engine. The decrease the Time Between Overhaul (TBO) increases the cost of maintaining the engine components. To overcome all such drawbacks, an alternative idea has been developed as “Blending ON Board” system. The concept used here is blending of lubricating oil used in the system with new lubricating oil to completely neutralize the sulphur content in the Fuel Oil used for combustion.

Abstract: The studies have been mainly done in the discrete dynamical systems in topological spaces. According to Robert Devaney, the three ingredients of chaos are sensitivity, density and transitivity. We answer a series of questions like whether the iterated function system can be chaotic. Will the contractions are Devaney chaotic. If we can find such a chaotic contraction, will it generate a self similar set? If there is such a self similar set, will it be a fractal? In order to answer the question, we have gone for generalization with continuous maps and homeomorphisms.

Abstract: There are various architectural features of a residential buildings and commercial buildings that can influence its indoor or interior climate and electricity consumption, which due to lack good orientation and shadings elements also includes such as thermal insulation, the size of the window, glazing material, and albedo of building façade. In addition to these architectural features, shading effects (either by external objects or by the building itself) can also affect the thermal performance of a building on base on how it was working. External shading effects are mainly caused by nearby trees or buildings, which is depending on how closed the trees are with the building. Also while shading effect imposed by the building itself usually base on the layout design of the building, i.e. building shape and layout arrangement of the flats on each floor. Some flats in a building may receive a shading effect from adjacent flats located in the same building block which is normally common here in Cyprus because there roofing system normally used flat roofs which are more common. So for architects before designing a building you have to conduct the layout design of a building, a number of factors such as building regulations, (because each region has normally had its own buildings regulations like Famagusta regulation might not be the same with Nicosia) site limitations, scenic view, noise control, natural ventilation and daylight utilization will be considered. The thermal performance of a building is one of the major issues that should be taken into consideration. The objective of this study is to assess the thermal performance of buildings under the effect of adjacent shading in hot climate region. A simulation using Autodesk Revit insight and ecotect Software was carried out to identify typical layout designs of the buildings. Building energy simulations were conducted for the building blocks with different layout designs. It is found that adjacent shading effect has a great impact on the thermal performance of buildings which include both commercial buildings and residential but normally effect more on residential due to hours that we live inside. So all this thing that I had mentioned we are going to see them in this article.

Abstract: Marine Pollution can be defined at the introduction of substances to the marine environment directly or indirectly to the marine environment directly or indirectly by man resulting in adverse effects such as hazards to sea lives, obstruction of marine activities and lowering the quality of sea water. The discharging of wastes into the sea from land side is one obvious reason in which the marine pollution may occur.

Pesticides and fertilizers from agriculture land which are washed off the land, enter into sea causes the pollution in the sea water. The washed off petroleum and oils from the roads enter into the sewage system and the storm water overflows carry these materials into rivers and finally into the sea.

Abstract: Behavioral insights aim at improving the welfare of citizens and consumers through comprehensive public policies and relevant regulations that are designed and implemented based on empirically-tested results derived using sound experimental methodologies. They mix some traditional economic strategies with insights from psychology, cognitive sciences and social sciences to discover irrational factors that influence decision making processes. This paper sought to explore and compare the successful designing and implementation of public policies in South Korea and other member states of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) under the auspices of the behavioral insights. Abstract: In queueing theory, a discipline within the mathematical theory of probability, a bulk queue is a general queueing model where jobs arrive in and/or are served in groups of random size. Queueing models characterized by bulk arrival or bulk service of either fixed or variable sizes are commonly found in modelling of traffic and transportation systems, complex computer and telecommunication systems, inventory replenishment system and other real-life applications. Control chart technique may be applied to analyse the waiting time of the customers in the system to improve the services and the effective performance of concerns.In this research article the construction of control chart using process capability for average system length is proposed and provides suitable tables with numerical results for M^[x]/M/1 queueing systemwhen the batch sizefollows geometric distribution.

Abstract: In this article the researcher would like to discuss theories applicable in the field of Geriatric social work practice and enable the practioners to understand relevant aging theories. Moreover this study will help us to understand how aged people reflect their behavior in their walks of life at various stages. These theories focus on social, psychological, physical and medical conditions of aging and its interconnectedness. They also seek to explain the positive and healthy aspects of aging for the professionals working in geriatrics, social services and policy making. Human ageing may be classified into three main aspects of human development which can be articulated through biological, psychological and social ageing theories to bring out how life moves on in the process of aging. Theories give answers, substantiated by authentication obtained by methodical scientific inquiry. Theoretical perspectives also explain why something happens and helps us to justify actions and also to modify the course of action for effective delivery of services. It is found that there are many theories helps to practice Geriatric social work profession, but the researcher found that following theories were highly applicable to the professional arena such as System theory, Disengagement theory, Activity theory, Gerotranscendence, Age stratification theory Cumulative advantage/disadvantage theory ,life course theory, role theory ,continuity theory and Psychosocial development theory.

Abstract: Present work focuses on performance and emission characterises of lard oil blended biodiesel.  Biodiesels were prepared through Lard Oil Methyl Ester (LOME) by trans-esterification process.  Two blends of biodiesel B10 and B20 were prepared and parameters such as brake thermal efficiency, brake specific fuel consumption, hydrocarbon emission, carbon mono oxide emission, oxides of nitrogen against the load were studied according to standard test procedure. This article provides an overview on selection of optimum blending of lard oil to the diesel.

Abstract: Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has gained an exceptional significance and had become integral part of strategic decision making. Corporations have realized that Government alone will no longer be capable of accomplishing its undertaking to uplift the society. India was the first country to quantify CSR and make it a mandate. Therefore, RBI the Central Bank of India has made it mandatory for every commercial bank operating in India to contribute to CSR. This study aims to analyze the public and private sector banks CSR and their trends of CSR spending post 2013 to 2018 in India and made an attempt to forecast the future CSR spending’s of the selected banks through least square method technique of forecasting. The data has been collected from the annual reports, CSR reports and official websites of the bank.
