Abstract: Car accidents is an important issue and a number of investigators make a study of car accidents. In 2012, Lovenheim, Michael F. and Steefel, Daniel P. found a few reasons can cause a car accident, but this problem was solved by the Blue Laws. Hence, in 2000, Philip Reed summarized six steps when we encounter and deal with a car accident. In addition, Yuichi Inoue suggested that drivers should have a full sleep before driving to avoid car accidents in his 2014 study. Bae,Yong-Kyun and Benitez-Silva, Hugo advised drivers should make sure that they check their car frequently to make themselves more safety and decrease the car accident rate on the road.

The reason for people regard car accident as an important issue is a large number of drivers were killed in a car accident, the surviving people suffered from a lot of money loss in the car accident. Besides, the car accident is in an ascendant trend in recent years. However, an accident is unpredictable, not every driver is luck to avoid an accident. A number of car accidents caused by negligence of drivers. What is more, there are still lots of drivers do not observe the traffic laws to cause a car accident. Government formulated the traffic laws gradually and a lot of scholars summarized many reasons and gave some suggestions to make sure drivers can avoid this problem. Many researchers believe that if every driver can compliance with traffic laws, car accidents would be decreased exactly as the study of reasons and solutions of car accidents in Dalian from 2010 till 2015.

Abstract: Children’s mental and emotional disorders or problems that affect not only children’s behaviour, emotions, moods or thoughts, but can also affects the entire family and adversely affects educational or developmental performance which includes  intrapersonal, academic, vocational or social schemes; Thus  prevention of emotional and behavioural problems enables the good community .So a study was taken to assess the effectiveness of structured teaching programme on prevention of emotional and behavioural problems of children among ANMs. Quasi experimental study with one group pretest posttest design was used for this study. Sample size was 30 and convenient sampling technique was used in this study. The results depicts that before the intervention, 30% (n=10) had poor knowledge, 70 %(n=20) had average knowledge regarding the prevention of behavioural and emotional problems of children.  After structured teaching program, 63.33 %( n=29) had average knowledge and 36.66% (n=11) had good knowledge. It was concluded that structured teaching programme was effective in increasing knowledge of ANMs regarding prevention of emotional and behavioural problems of children. (t=18.8, p<0.05 level).

Abstract: Urbanization today has become one of the most important factors of development and modernization. In the beginning, the studies of Urbanization were extended to smaller ethno–cultural communities in large western Cities (like the Negors of Harlem) and then were extended to other countries outside the Western civilization. In the poor state like Manipur (India), urbanization does not have a long history though witnessed growth in urbanization trends. To analyze the trends of urbanization with particular reference to the urban structure, the impact of urbanization in urban ways of life and role of women in economic development are some of the important dimensions of our study. The present study is based on primary and secondary data and has an exploratory cum descriptive research design based on sample method. For further convenient of the study multi stage random sample has been made. The degree of social and economic aspects of urban mentality is quite high. Although no definite trends are visible in the case of relationship and interaction patterns yet the total analysis is indicative of an increasing trend towards urbanism in the area under study. It may be said that urbanization is taking place in the area under study resulting in urbanism and the growth and development of modern mentality.

Abstract: Social media has an important role in people’s life now. It is changing people’s life and the way people interact with each other. “Web 2.0” was first mentioned in a conference in 2004 and since then it led the evolution of social media (Kaplan Heinlein 59). Nowadays the most popular definition for social media can be: “A group of Internet-based applications that built on the ideological and technological foundations of Web 2.0, and that allow the creation and exchange of user generated content” (Kaplan Heinlein 59). In Emerson’s 2003 paper, social media refers to “the interactions among people in which they create, share, and/or exchange information and ideas utilizing social exchange theory” (335).

Social media is becoming more and more important. It has become the main tool for people’s communication. On the other hand, this tool can also cause some bad changes on people’s life. Our research “Pros and cons of social media on people in China” helps people understand social media. For the part of pros, people can know more about the right ways to use social media and search for new areas when using social media. On the contrary, the part of cons shows people how to protect themselves and treat social media in an objective attitude.

Abstract:  If an individual was considered “gay” in the past, he/she would be subject to criticism, more in the form of mockery.  This was broadly viewed as “uncatholic” in societies where people were expected to follow the common norms and mores like growing up, getting married and having children according to society’s established ways of living.  Anything viewed outside this context would be highly criticised hence discarded by most of the members.  This unconventional behaviour could be associated with people liking and living with those of the same sex-whether they could be both men and women.  This later included people who are transgender like a male-looking individual having female genital organs or vice-versa.  There are also people who could love both men and women known as bisexuals. Coming back to the discussion dealing with diversity, it can be generally claimed that organisations ignore the issue thinking that all workers are at least “morally correct”. Any behaviour that would go against conventional ones would be immediately looked down upon.  But how is this possible at the workplace when people might be overly hesitant to state that their sexual behaviour is totally different from the rest?  It can be broadly known male employees who have a more feminine attitude than others could be considered as “sissy” and be the centre of mockery or fun with the other colleagues. Being gay, lesbian or transsexual are terms that are usually less spoken at work although progress has been made on this issue regarding the need to overcome discrimination and see things in a positive manner.  This review of LGBT workers analyses discrimination of such workers based from stigma against homosexuality but opens up to the wider picture that covers both ongoing discrimination and the way forward where governments are trying their best to include LGBT within diversity.  The impending problems awaits firm solutions and resolutions and this is the purpose of the study that debates such a “hot” issue claiming that it has not yet received the expected response within workplace diversity.

Abstract: This study intends to check the stereotypical depiction of female characters in Malayalam serials. From the evolution of television channels serials have a space. Serials could attract and entertain a group of audience all the time. This study mainly focused the changes in the narration of female characters.  A content analysis of female characters, both positive and negative, would reveal the various stereotypes associated with positive as well as negative female characters in Malayalam serials.

Abstracts: We know that except the Cārvāka system, all the systems of Indian Philosophy have admitted mokṣa as the highest aim of every human being. Among them the Sāṁkhya is ancient. The Sāṁkhya has admitted two main realities i.e. puruṣa and prakṛti. Generally we know that puruṣa or self becomes bound and free. In this regard, the Sāṁkhya system is different from others. Firstly, it shows that puruṣa or self becomes bound due to contact with prakṛti (aviveka jñāna) and then through the study of Sāṁkhya scripture and śravana, manana and nididhyāsana puruṣa attains different knowledge between prakṛti and it (vivekakhyāti). But, here this paper has tried to present that actually both bondage and liberation are of prakṛti, not of puruṣa and how prakṛti plays a role for own necessity i.e. enjoyment or bondage and liberation. According to the Sāṁkhya, all the activities are of prakṛti but ascribes on puruṣa. As a result, puruṣa feels itself as bound and free.

Abstract: Mass media have a great role in the process of socialization. Mass media could convey messages in to the mind of people in early child hood itself. Mass media could influence people positively and negatively. Children are largely attracted to mass media such as Television, Computer, Internet, Smart Phones etc. These media could educate the child as well. How this media connect to the child is very much important. Children are very much interested about everything. So that the content produced by the media is very much important in the socialization process of a child. Especially the programs which are mainly targeted children. Children will definitely be a consumer of programs which children have a prime focus or the parents will insist to watch these programs. The children oriented programs should focuses on children more than parents or adults. Children oriented programs used children as a tool to make others laugh. This study intends to check this media attitude. How children are being treated by the media and how they are being portrayed in Malayalam Reality shows.

Abstract:  The Education (Special Education) Regulations 2013 stated to include children with speech disabilities, physical disabilities and multiple disabilities, compared to those with only visual, hearing, and learning disabilities previously in the  inclusive education programmes. This led to an increase of 58,253 special needs students enrolled in Malaysian schools in 2014, compared to 7,797 previously. Even though there is a lot of dissatisfaction among parents, the special education teachers have a higher rate of burnout than is found in most other professions. The burnout rate is the result of a number of issues that often culminate in these teachers leaving their jobs. It is estimated that 75 percent of those who teach special needs students will leave their job within 10 years of starting. This paper presents a finding of a teacher who is in a private educational setting in Melaka, Malaysia and the challenges, strategies and successes she obtained while them. It is to identify the teaching approaches applied by the teacher during the process of teaching pupils with Autism. The research is based on triangular qualitative research with document analysis, observation and interview. It discusses the challenges, strategies and success the teacher gained in the process of teaching and learning. This study has demonstrated impressive results in which one realizes that there are teachers’ who are trying to reach out and attract the attention of students with certain teaching methods.

Abstract: Organizations are currently facing the retirement of many senior employees and the challenge of retaining young talent. The paradigm shift in the same is known, however few studies have empirically substantiated generational differences in work values. This study “COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS BETWEEN GENY AND BABY BOOMERS TO STUDY EFFECTS ON WORKPLACE RETENTION” examines the comparison between work values of Gen Y and Baby Boomer employees in the Indian perspective. The sample has been taken randomly and the respondents consisted of HR Recruiters, HR Specialists and HR Generalists across sectors. The findings of this report have brought out the sharp contrast in the expectations of the two generations; whilst the older generation are patient and continue working for a longer time in their organization, the younger and more restless generation is constantly seeking better opportunities be it in terms of salary or growth. It was also observed that GenY employees are willing to sacrifice family and relationships more than Baby Boomers in their quest for achieving professional pinnacles. These findings have practical implications for the recruitment and management of the emerging workforce.

Abstract: Islamic University is a specialized and purposive institution that is brought to fruition after the first world conference on Muslim education of Mecca in order to respond to the devilling crisis inflicting the Muslim’s education. The common philosophy of the Islamic institutions is the integration between the revealed and the rational sciences as well as the Islamization of the total educational processes. Therefore, the Islamic universities are presently facing the paining challenges of the insufficient resources which might affect its initial target and the cause of its implementation because these universities are mostly owned by the private Muslims individuals and Islamic organizations in a various Muslims societies particularly in Nigeria. However, the present study adopted case study, descriptive and documentary methods for collection and analysis of the data. Another significant instrument used in this investigation is a field interview with some officials of Al-Qalam University, Katsina.  The study is also aimed to determine the educational philosophy, significant relevance and the militating challenges of the Islamic university from the case of Al-Qalam University Katsina in Nigeria. The finding of this study has released some positive contribution of Islamic University to the character building and the spiritual development of the Muslim community. Therefore, the paper has proposed some beneficial suggestion as a solution for continuous existence and future improvement of the Islamic Universities.
