Abstract: This study examined internal control in Nigeria tertiary institutions using selected tertiary institutions as a case study was derived from my thesis (Internal control in Nigeria tertiary conditions" in fulfillment to my Masters of Business Administration. This study was guided by the following objectives; examine the impact of internal control system on effective administrative performance in selected tertiary institutions in Nigeria; evaluate the effectiveness of internal control system efficiency of educational services in selected tertiary institutions in Nigeria; analyze the effect of internal control system on fraud prevention in selected tertiary institutions in Nigeria and to deduce the effect of internal control system on revenue generation in selected tertiary institutions in Nigeria. Research questions were derived from the objectives. The Scientific Management Theory was used to substantiate variables of the topic. The study was a quantitative study in which data were gotten from primary sources through the use of questionnaires. The study revealed that there is a relationship between internal control systems and effective administrative performance in selected tertiary institutions in Nigeria. The study also showed that there is a relationship between the internal control system and the efficiency of academic services in selected tertiary institutions in Nigeria. It was also revealed that there is a relationship between the internal control system and fraud prevention in selected tertiary institutions in Nigeria. Lastly, the study showed that there is a relationship between the internal control system and revenue generation in selected tertiary institutions in Nigeria. It was, therefore, among others recommended that tertiary institution management should increase its control environment and risk assessment procedures in particular; the tertiary institution's management should guarantee that all aspects of a successful internal audit unit, such as audit structure and resources, internal audit approach, and audit plan, are appropriately implemented, sound and effective, resulting in effective internal control; the internal audit unit of tertiary institutions should hire more internal audit staff to ensure that they are capable of carrying out their responsibilities, and internal audit workers who lack internal audit training should be trained or terminated if they are not trainable.

Abstract: The Spread of Novel CoronaVirus has drastically affected the Trade and Foreign Exchange of all the countries of the world due to the Shut-Down of International borders of all the countries of the world. This has also caused a Major Impact on the Economy of India. While considering the Gross Domestic Product of the nation we had faced a downfall due to the Pandemic Lockdown enforced over the nation for the welfare of the citizens of India to stay away from the spread of the covid virus. But, now it has become a major threat for the Economy of India due to the Reduced domestic trade of the nation from March 2020. The Fall in production of the country has caused stock demand for the surviving citizens of the nations, Hence the country’s Import is forced to be increased, Even for the FMCG Goods. More than 75% of the civilians have now lost their Per Capita Income Ratio, Due to the fall in the Trade Locally and Internationally. All together Fall in Per Capita Income, Reduced GDP, Reduced Local and International Trade has reduced the Total Tax Collected in the Last Accounting Year and made the Government of India under huge debt, I.e.At End-March 2021, India's external debt was placed at $570 billion, recording an increase of $11.5 billion over its level at end-March 2020, according to the Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) data. The external debt to GDP ratio rose to 21.1 percent as of March 2021 against 20.6 per cent a year ago. This may also increase in the future because the world has not attained the end for the Novel CoronaVirus.

Abstract: The EU and Korea Free Trade Agreement (EKFTA) is the most comprehensive free trade agreement the EU has signed, under which it will eliminate tariffs on most products and liberalize all trade agreements, trade in services. The Agreement includes provisions on investment in services and industry as well as commitments in the areas of: protection of intellectual property rights (including geographical indications), public procurement, competition, transparent regulations and sustainable development. Specific commitments to eliminate and prevent non-tariff barriers to trade were agreed in the automotive, pharmaceutical and electronic sectors. The EKFTA Agreement consists of 15 chapters, many annexes and accessories, 3 Protocols, 4 interpretations and 1 Joint Declaration.

Participating in the EKFTA agreement, Korea has many opportunities with its available conditions and resources in economic development, but also many challenges for development cooperation. This article raises opportunities and challenges for Korea when participating in EKFTA as the basis for proposing orientations and solutions to maximize resources and minimize risks in cooperation bilateral relations between the EU and Korea

Abstract: Inheriting and developing Ho Chi Minh's ideology on education, the 13^th Party Congress has affirmed the consistency of the Vietnamese Communist Party's point of view that education and training, science, and technology are the top priorities in the policy of the nation to develop rapidly and sustainably in the coming decades. In particular, the Communist Party continues to prioritize implementing the policy of fundamental and comprehensive innovation of education and training during the 13th Party Congress’s term when the quality of human resources becomes an important key deciding the country’s level of development. As a factor creating a competitive advantage in the process of international cooperation and integration, Vietnamese education needs to deal with its internal problems, both in terms of content, methods, and human resources.

Abstract: A global pandemic that began in Wuhan, China has led many people around the world to treat Asians as scapegoats for the catastrophic outcomes of the COVID-19 virus. Extreme xenophobic attitudes towards Asians has been steadily on the rise and in countries like the United States, physical attacks against Asian-Americans were reported in Oakland, California targeting senior citizens. Although Asian-Americans have contributed to American society and economic growth since the late 1800s, Asians are treated as “forever foreigners” whose “Americanness” is often questioned simply because of physical appearances. Research articles regarding racism against Asians in America were collected and explored to show how past treatment of Asians and the current treatment of Asians align in one significant way: Asians are not viewed as Americans.

The media, in particular, reinforced the ideas of “foreignness” of Asian-Americans in the public eye (ie. athletes, entertainers, etc) who are constantly categorized as “other” when asked, “So what country are you from?” Now more than ever, social media outlets such as Tiktok and Instagram show just how rampant racism is against Asians, grouping all Asians as one group despite the unique heritage that many come from. History does not fail to repeat itself in times of outbreaks and pandemics, as the Irish and the Jews were once blamed for bringing tuberculosis to America. In an already dire and stressful situation, the minority group under attack may experience discrimination-related depression and anxiety. In this unique time in history, it is important to document and understand how minority groups may be under attack in an increased effort to educate future generations about discriminatory behavior in times of crisis.

Title: Forever Foreigner: The Growing Anti Asian-American Sentiment During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Abstract: Filipinos are food lovers. In every part of the country, restaurants big and small are everywhere and each Filipino knows how to reach these food hubs by all means just to taste the food they cater.  However, little is known about how farm to table restaurants prepare their food, where it come from and how acceptable are these restaurants and the food, they serve to the Filipinos in the places they are located.  To identify this concept of food preparation the goal of this study is to determine customer acceptance at a few farm-to-table restaurants in Cavite. The researchers will analyze the customers’ acceptability of the selected farm to table restaurants in terms of their cuisine palatability, price, atmosphere, concept authenticity, and ambiance of location. The 4-point Likert scale for the questioner evaluation will be used, and be delivered to the respondents to review the farm to table restaurant, utilizing the mixed method. The respondents will be given four options, with NOT ACCEPTABLE being the lowest and VERY ACCEPTABLE as the highest. The demographic profile of the respondents will also be identified to see which type of people and how many of the same age dine in the farm to table restaurants. Through this study, it will also be determined in what aspect will the consumers acceptance regarding the selected farm to table restaurants and what improvisation or suggestion that would fill in the gaps.  The estimated results will show the customers are satisfied with the acceptance of the farm to table restaurants. As a result, management may place a greater emphasis on publicizing their restaurant so that everyone has a second choice of where to eat.

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of teaching of Bamyan University professors and in terms of research method is descriptive-survey. The statistical population of this study includes all students of Bamyan University in the academic year 2020, the number of which was done to (4824) students and the sampling method was done by quota random sampling method. The statistical sample size was determined to be 355 using Cochran's formula. In this research, a researcher-made questionnaire has been used to measure the effectiveness of teachers' teaching. Findings of this study show that the average effectiveness of teaching characteristics of Bamyan University professors (3.35) is higher than acceptable adequacy (3) but is lower than the desired adequacy (4).

Abstract: The popularity of social media has grown phenomenally over the past decade. Along with its growth has followed the growth of digital advertisements and the ways they are communicating messages to people around the world. Social media has been most commonly used for simple tasks such as communication and sharing of information, but as digital online platforms develop, social media continues to expand in its usage and variety of applications.

This study explores data and information regarding various popular social media, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and several popular Korean platforms. Information and data was collected from official websites and publications by the social media companies that include details on their purpose and address their advertising systems. Previously explored studies on related topics conducted were also analyzed to address various perspectives and results.

From the studies explored, main findings show that the uses of social media are also changing over time with reductions in previously common uses such as communication and increases in newer uses such as shopping and entertainment. Advertisements have changed in how they approach and adapt to users; some take advantage of being implemented in the daily actions of users, while some track the activity of users to find and display related content, having led to some privacy issues. Search engines, streaming services, messaging apps, and many more social media platforms are adapting to a balance between user experience and commercialization. Advertisements are commonly associated with negative responses, but new data shows that the format and method of advertising impacts the response towards advertisements.

Abstract: The study investigated on influence of foreign trade policy toward deregulation on the operation of small and medium scale businesses in Lagos State. Some economist argues that trade deregulation frequently better the lot of developed economies compare to developing economies. Since Nigeria is a developing country, it seems it might not benefit much from foreign trade deregulations. Nigeria has taken up several trade deregulation policies even since 1986. Trade deregulation frequently leads to an alteration in the balance of an economy as many organisations develop, while some retrogress, and this has been a major concern for all the stakeholders in Nigerian Economy. The research thus, investigated on impact of government foreign trade policy toward deregulation on Nigerian Economy: A case study of Small and Medium Scale Businesses in Lagos State, Nigeria

This assertion requires empirical investigation. The study used ex-post facto design of survey research type; sixty-five (65) small and medium scale business owners were drawn through two stage sampling procedure in Lagos State. Key Informant Interview Guide was used to gather information in this study research questions were raised and answered in this study. The data obtained were analysed using descriptive statistics of percentage and frequency count.

The inference that can be drawn from the research is that foreign trade deregulation policy enhances economic growth. Conclusion can be made that when a government formulates policy that will cushion the effect of unhealthy rivalry from foreign trade deregulation it will promote substantial advancement in Small and Medium Scale Businesses. Therefore, government should formulate policies that will encourage the advancement of small and medium scale business.

Abstract: The potential of the River Cruise to the locals provides benefits such as income generation and promotion of the area as a tourist destination. The Maragondon River operated a river cruise tourism activity in which guest rode “Balsa” a small raft in which guest will rode the “Balsa” and tour around the river. Currently the operation of the River Cruise is small with only 7 “Balsa” available to cater to the tourist.  The research explores the sustainability of the River Cruise in Maragondon river in economic, socio-cultural and environmental terms. The study is qualitative in nature and used interview and SWOT analysis as the instrument of the study with different respondents handling the economic (Tour Guide of Maragondon River Cruise) aspect, socio-cultural aspect (Tourism Office of Maragondon Cavite) and environmental aspect (Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office of Maragondon Cavite).  The result shows the economic effect of the River Cruise Tourism is the generation of income and the creation of jobs. Socio-Cultural aspect suggested that the town offers a lot of tourism activity other than the river cruise and the appreciation of the tourist to the history of the town as effect however the influence of the tourist to the tradition of the locals could also be an effect of the River Cruise tourism and lastly the result of the environmental aspect shows that garbage generation and climate change are identified as an environmental risk. The output of the study is a sustainable plan.

Abstract: The article on the financing of environmental services in Vietnam, especially forest environment services in 2011 - 2018. First, the article deals with the approach to the concept of environmental service payment  in Vietnam and points to some  similarities and differences between the concept of environmental services in Vietnam and the world. The article employs a variety of research methodologies to exploit secondary and primary data to analyze the real state of environmental service payments in Viet Nam 2011-2018. From the practice of environmental affordability, particularly forest services in Vietnam, the paper proposes a number of policy recommendations for the creation and development of the market for environmental services payment in Vietnam, and towards a complete market economic institutions and sustainable environmental protection in Vietnam in the coming period.

Abstract: Resilience- An ordinary magic, as Ann Masten called it, is a buzzword today. Today’s time is so full of stressors, that we all need something which can help us to deal with everyday hassles and as the time passes life gives us new challenges to deal with.

Moreover as it is always said that prevention is better than cure, Resilience is a trait which can always work as a protective factor against many psychiatric problems, because it is resilience, which makes a person to bounce-back or fight-back at the face of adversity, and adversity is never ever an exception, as it a commonly occurring phenomenon, we all go through ups and downs in our life. So the relevance of resilience as a personality-trait is not a question.

This research-paper is an attempt to find the role of teacher in inculcating resilience in his or her students, while dealing with the changing notions of resilience with time and it also talks about the external and internal protective factors of resilience.

Abstract: The objective of the study was to determine whether organizational structure influence the relationship between strategic leadership and service delivery of County Governments in Kenya. The findings would aid the audit, review and strengthening of existing policies aimed at ensuring good ethical practices in public entities. The relevant theories reviewed for this study was the institutional theory. This study used a positivism research philosophy. The study used a cross sectional survey. The target population for the study was drawn from the 47 Counties in Kenya as per 2010 constitution. The study used both primary and secondary data which were collected using questionnaires, interviews and desk review. Data analysis took place at two levels – descriptive statistics level and inferential statistics level. To test the study hypothesis, simple and multiple linear regressions were used. Multiple regression analysis was carried out to predict the dependent variable given the independent variable. P-value was used to check for significance of individual variables in the regression equations, whereby a relationship was considered to be statistically significant if the p-value was ≤ 0.05. The study found that organizational structure has a significant influence on the relationship between strategic leadership and service delivery of the county governments in Kenya. The positive effects have higher contributions to the service delivery and this implies that county officers should concentrate not only on monitoring the ethical behaviours but also on building on the areas that impact on service delivery including better structure. This should form the basis of how organizational structure has to be observed by the counties if it has to succeed.

Abstract: The network structure has attracted the attention of many domestic and foreign scholars as an important factor influencing innovation. But they usually ignore the hierarchy of the network structure. In this paper, ambidextrous learning is divided into two dimensions: explorative innovation and exploitative innovation. This paper breaks the paradigm of single-level network and explores the moderating effect of network intensity of pair-level and network stability of network-level between ambidextrous innovation and new venture performance by constructing a combined moderating effect model of ambidextrous innovation, the multilevel network structure and new venture performance. This paper explores the moderating effect of network intensity （pair-level） and network stability （network-level） between ambidextrous innovation and new venture performance, and contributes to understanding the influence mechanism of social networks between innovation and performance. The results show that network intensity and network stability positively regulate the relationship between ambidextrous innovation and new venture performance. In addition, network stability is seen as a situational variable, and the joint moderating effect of network stability and network intensity between ambidextrous innovation and new venture performance is supported. This contributes to understanding the hierarchical interaction effect of the multilevel network structure. This paper has important practical values for new ventures to carry out innovation activities using external social network relations, improve enterprise performance, and achieve sustainable development.
