An Analysis of NGOs’ Preprimary Education Monitoring System in Bangladesh

Abstract: Preprimary education plays important role in physical, emotional and social development of a child. In Bangladesh perspective, preprimary education is run by Government, NGOs and private sectors. NGOs of Bangladesh have been working in pre-primary education since 1995. Monitoring is an important part of the pre-primary education program. Regular monitoring guides the program to be more successful. The researcher tries to explore and illustrate the monitoring structure and process, activities of monitoring officials; strength and weakness of monitoring system of pre-primary education program/project. Qualitative research approach was applied for conducting the research. The main area of the research was the pre-primary education program of NGOs in Bangladesh. The study was conducted within three different pre-primary education programs/ projects in 2013 as a part of the researchers’ academic thesis purpose.
