Abstract: Environmental destruction is pushing the Earth toward an Apocalypse, yet national leaders continue to act mainly in their national interests, competing against one another while ignoring global consequences. Humanity must therefore shift from national interests to globally conscious leadership. I propose Earth Nation (EN), a new global center designed to replace United Nations financially dependent on powerful nations to encourage national leaders to act for the global good and coordinate nations toward a shared vision. Through today’s Internet, such global cooperation is now within the range of possibility. Our top priority must be to protect our one and only living planet for ourselves and future generations.
