Need to practice Gandhi Non-violence in violent world

Abstract: We are living in such a world which is totally based on violence. The main attacker of human life is Terrorist violence. We often hear of intelligence failures because we are living in mentality bomb–for-bomb. The spread of terrorism in present time is skewed. Violence includes not physical coercion but also economic and social coercion. Violence may appear to be a superior technique for resolving conflicts or achieving desired ends because it has obvious and tangible strategies and weapons. But Nonviolence is the greatest force at the disposal of mankind. It is mightier than the mightiest weapon of destruction devised by the ingenuity of man. Gandhi laid great emphasis on the Principle of Non–Violence. He wanted that Nation–states must discipline their inter-state relation on the Non–violence. It is only the Nation-states which can make their efforts in the formation of Non-violent world society. The moral influence Gandhi had on the consciously thinking human being of the entire civilized world will probably be much more lasting than it seems in our time with its overestimation of brutal violent forces.

Keywords: Samjhota express bombing.
