ONLINE LEARNING MANAGEMENT PLAN TOWARDS QUALITY EDUCATION OF TOURISM AND HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT LEARNERS IN THE NEW NORMAL

Abstract: The ongoing pandemic, limits face-to-face classes to curb the spread of COVID-19 many institutions were forced to conduct classes in an online manner forcing students and instructors alike towards online learning. Courses such as Hospitality Management and Tourism which traditionally relies on both theoretical and hands-on approaches are also affected by the shift to an online learning system. The study explores the online learning aspects of learning, convenience, and accessibility to the students and the relationship in providing quality education. The respondents of the study are selected students taking hospitality management and tourism courses at De La Salle University Dasmarinas there are a total of 150 respondents 75 each from each course Hospitality Management and Tourism Management the instrument that is used is a survey questionnaire. The result shows that the respondents are likely to age 22 and above, female, and agree on all of the statements when it comes to the online learning aspects such as learning, convenience, and accessibility. The results on the quality education suggest that the students mostly agree that quality education can be achieved through online learning and it is found out that there is a significant relationship between the convenience aspect of online learning and the age of the students.
