The Impact of Television on Democratic Politics

Abstract: It is well known that the television is important to the politics, realer and more comprehensive than the newspapers and books. After the popularization of democracy, it provides with the more abundant materials for the democratic politics and people’s history. For demonstration, in this article it is specially illustrated some recent political movements of people in television beyond but more important than the attractive presidential election, including the author leading the democracy calling for law execution in China and the establishment of theory of armed police, the people in the Middle East proposing the revival of race with law, the international movement of “Marx-MingXun calling for competitive election” for the communist parties and the control of democratic crimes with party disciplines, and so on. As they were more important than the attractive presidential election, it is further manifested the wonderful impact of television on the democratic politics and people’s history.
