Abstract: In recent years, the increasing incidents of harassment and unsafe situations for women have created a strong demand for reliable and automated safety systems. Conventional safety methods lack real-time tracking, immediate alert mechanisms, and rapid emergency response, making them less effective in critical situations such as public transportation, workplaces, and isolated areas. Modern embedded systems have emerged as effective solutions that enable devices to perform dedicated functions with improved accuracy and responsiveness. “Embedded systems enable real-time monitoring and quick alert generation through integrated hardware components” [1]. The proposed women safety system integrates GPS tracking, GSM communication, emergency alert buttons, and sensor-based monitoring to provide a multi-layered safety mechanism. “Multi-layered safety systems improve protection by combining detection, alerting, and response mechanisms” [2]. The system also incorporates data storage for accessibility and security. This paper presents the design and analysis of the proposed system, highlighting its advantages over existing solutions and demonstrating its effectiveness in enhancing women safety.
