Abstract: This study delves into the changing landscape of personal savings behavior among employees in the backdrop of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Focusing specifically on Private college staff, the research investigates key determinants such as financial knowledge, financial self-efficacy, risk perception, and income level, and their impact on saving habits. The investigation reveals the heightened significance of these factors amidst economic uncertainty and highlights the essential role of proactive financial planning and the cultivation of personal values in achieving financial stability. Furthermore, the study emphasizes the potential influence of individual risk perception and income levels on saving behaviors. The findings contribute to an understanding of saving behavior alterations during crises and provide insights to promote better financial planning among employees.

Abstract: Thixotropic Marketing is a company that is currently experiencing a high rate of stockouts. It is known that this problem has been unaddressed for the past years. The purpose of this study is to improve Thixotropic Marketing's inventory management in Trece Martires, Cavite, by lowering the stockout frequency rate through implementing certain measures. Inventory management is a critical component of a business that, when done correctly, can improve a company's performance. Thixotropic Marketing is a construction and retail company with a significantly inadequate manual inventory system, which is a problem. Since the researchers were required to compare prior data to data acquired after measures under the methodology were applied, conducted, observed, evaluated, and calculated, the descriptive comparative approach was chosen as a design. This research emphasizes the differences in stockout frequency following the implementation and monitoring of safety stock, an unprecedented measure in this company. Sales and project consumption records and data were gathered, evaluated, analyzed, and compared to the results after the recommended measure was applied. The findings revealed a considerable decline in the rate of stockouts. These results suggest that the stockouts frequency rate significantly decreases and it appears that safety stock fulfilled the demands. On this basis, the concept of safety stocking should be implemented in the company appropriately and hereinafter.

Abstract: The objective of the research was to forecast the Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) production of oil palm managed by PT. ANA in East Petasia District, North Morowali Regency (Kabupaten Morowali Utara), using the "SARIMA Model" (9, 1, 1) (0, 1, 4)¹². The location selection was done through purposive sampling considering that the area is one of the emerging oil palm centers in Central Sulawesi Province. The research approach used the Box-Jenkins Method of the SARIMA Model, which is an extension of the ARIMA Box-Jenkins model by incorporating seasonal variables. The results of the model identification indicate that the best model for forecasting the production of FFB of oil palm is managed by PT. ANA is the SARIMA Model (9, 1, 1) (0, 1, 4)¹². The forecasting results show that the projected production of FFB of oil palm for the upcoming period is 78.060.472 tons, which is approximately 38,95% lower compared to the previous production in (2019).

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to explain the role of social support in moderating the effect of quality of work life and job insecurity. This research was conducted on SMEs in the weaving craft industry in Gianyar district with a sample of 115 respondents through purposive sampling. Collection techniques using interviews and questionnaires. Data were analyzed by Moderating Regression Analysis. The results showed that quality of work life has a positive and significant effect on the performance of MSME employees, job insecurity has a negative and significant effect on MSME employee performance, social support moderates the effect of quality of work life on MSME employee performance, and social support moderates the effect of job insecurity on employee performance. MSMEs. The implication of this research is that it can contribute ideas for SMEs. The contribution of thought in question is that MSMEs always develop the results of this research in practice and can be a reference for other researchers who want to research Quality of Work Life, Job Insecurity, social support, and performance. Theoretically, this research also provides an understanding that Quality of Work Life, Job Insecurity, social support, and performance can actually provide benefits or value to businesses so that they can improve MSME performance.

Abstract: Taxes are an important source of revenue for the state and all government agencies. It helps the state meet its financial obligations and also serves the general public by providing serves such as health, infrastructure, and education, as well as stability and order. This study sought to determine the factors affecting tax compliance on SMEs in Kood Boor District Hargeisa, Somaliland. The specific objectives of the study were; to establish the effects of taxpayer knowledge, tax rate, tax fines and penalty and tax accountability on tax compliance of SMEs in Kood Boor District Hargeisa Somaliland. The study adopted descriptive research design. A sample of 127 SMEs was drawn using simple random sampling. The target populations of the study were the 190 registered in Ministry of Trade, Industry and Tourism. Primary data was collected using questionnaires. Data was analyzed using binary logistic regression model to determine the association that existed between the independents and dependent variable. The study was guided by following theories; economic based theory, institutional anomie theory and resource based theory. The study findings indicates that tax payers knowledge was statistically insignificant (Exp (B) = 2.014, p=.254) at 5 percent level of significance. This implies that the odds ratio for tax payer’s knowledge indicates that every unit increase in tax payer’s knowledge is associated with an increase in the odds of tax compliance in SMEs in Kood Boor District Hargeisa, Somaliland as per the sample. The study further showed that tax rate was statistically significant (Exp (B) = 0.135, p=0.002) at 5%. The study findings also examined tax fines and penalties and found that is statistically insignificant (Exp (B) = 0.447, p=0.121) at 5%. Finally, the study established that tax accountability was statistically significant (Exp (B) = 0.206, p= 0.023) at 5%. The odds ratio for tax rate, tax fines and penalty and tax accountability indicates that every unit increase in tax rate, tax fines and penalty and tax accountability respectively is associated with decrease in the odds of tax compliance of SMEs in Kood Boor District Hargeisa Somaliland as per the sample. The study recommends that on tax rates, the government should come up with better reforms on tax rates to cushion the tax payer from heavy burden. Also by reducing the taxes rates this will increase the purchase power of the citizens which in turn leads to better living standards and thus tax compliance. On accountability, the study recommended that there should be more public dialogue on taxation policy and practices. The study further recommend that to strength the taxation policy and practices in Somaliland then the community actors, such as clan elders, business owners and religious leaders, should be involved in the formulation and the implementation of tax policy. Furthermore the study recommends that the Auditor General should unsure and enforce on policies that advocates for both private and public entities to publish their audited annual financial reports.

Abstract: Small and medium enterprises are imperative for the growth of a striving economy because they cater for a huge level of manpower and vast resources. Therefore, it is crucial to guarantee their continuous performance in order to support Somaliland’s economic development. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of financial risks on profitability of SMEs in 26-June District in Hargeisa, Somaliland. The study used descriptive research design; using convenient non-probability sampling method, a suitable sample of 206 SME was selected from the population of study. Logistic regression model was used in this study since the dependent variable was binary. The study found out that credit risk and market risk are associated with profitability and are statistically significant. The odds ratio for credit risk and market risk indicates that every unit increase in credit risk and market risk respectively is associated with decrease in the odds of profitability in SMEs in June District as per the sample while liquidity risk was statistically insignificant with the odds ratio of liquidity risk indicating that every unit increase in liquidity risk is associated with increase in the odds of profitability in SMEs in June District as per the sample. The study recommends that the SMEs should put in a place system that can provide them with latest information about both credit risk sources which are suppliers and customer’s hazards so as they can refine their collection process and improve their unstable cash flow. The study on market risk recommends that, to optimize earnings and mitigate financial damages, it is crucial for the SMEs to monitor market information regularly as to apply any modifications to its products or services so that they can reduce their exposure to market risk.  The study further recommends creation of specialized training and development programs that are intended to help businesses increase their overall knowledge of the financial risks, as this aligns with Somaliland vision 2030 that seeks to create a well-developed private sector that provides investment, employment, sustained livelihoods and vital services to strengthen the economic foundation of peace.

Abstract: Employee retention is a key driver to the success of organizations in a hyper turbulent business environment. The performance of organizations is greatly determined by the ability to attract, maintain and retain workers who can positively contribute to the goals of the organization. It is imperative that organizations establish talent management practices that can give it a competitive edge and lead to a high level of success. Competency Mapping determines the extent to which the various competencies related to a job are possessed by a job holder. Thus, competency mapping is a process used to identify and list out competencies that are most relevant and significant to carry out job in an effective manner. Therefore, the study sought to establish the effect of competency mapping on employee’s retention in public chartered universities in Kenya. The specific objective of the study was to determine the influence of competency mapping on employees’ retention in Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.  The study adopted a descriptive research and stratified random sampling was used to pick a sample size of 90 respondents Information was collected by use of questionnaires which were subjected to pre-test to ensure both validity and reliability. Data analysis was done using both descriptive and inferential statistics. The study established that competency mapping had a positive influence on employee retention in the university and therefore it is recommended that, through career mapping the university management should devise measures to encourage the employees to develop their skills.

Abstract: During pregnancy, various physical and emotional changes occur, and these changes can affect the quality of life of pregnant women. Even in relatively uncomplicated pregnancies, these changes can significantly impact maternal health. The quality of life assessment during pregnancy can help determine the unmet needs of pregnant women and prevent negative health effects. The goal of this study was to identify factors that influence pregnant women's quality of life, ranging from demographic-obstetric, socio-economic and perceived social support. This study also aimed to determine the significant differences in maternal quality of life based on these factors.

The study was guided by the functionalist theory and socio-ecological model, which showed how individuals are part of a larger social system and states that the various factors that affect a person's health are interrelated. It states that the interactions between people, groups, and the environment can affect their well-being. A total of 519 pregnant women were selected from primary health care centers in 5 urban local government areas in Ibadan namely- Ibadan North, North West, South East, South West, North East and they responded to the questionnaires given. Quality of Life in pregnancy (Gravidarum) questionnaire and Household Food Insecurity Access Scale (HFIAS) and social support scale were used. With a p-value of less than 0.05 and a confidence interval of 95%, the data was analyzed using version 21 of SPSS.

The study’s showed that the quality of life mean score was 20.56 with a standard deviation of 8.347, showing that the quality of life of the women in this study was very good. The major predictors of quality of life were economic status (β= .492), food security (β= .514), partner support (β= -.151) and gestation age (β= .141). A woman, who lacks ample partner support, experiences household food insecurity and lacks financial security, will have a lower quality of life during pregnancy.

Improving the quality of life of pregnant women needs better identification of their difficulties and assistance whenever possible.

Abstract: Online reviews are essential in the travel and hotel businesses. Because there are various types of hotels, customers frequently read online hotel reviews before making a reservation. Consumers like to share their ideas and hunt for information online, and they find the content of online reviews more useful than suggestions from other online information sources. Online customer reviews are a vast and open source of information on how customers feel about the quality of a company's service, particularly in the hotel business, where it is useful to gauge hotel quality based on customer input. The capacity to distinguish between positive and negative reviews at luxury hotels according to SERVQUAL attributes of tangibility, reliability, empathy, responsiveness and assurance could help hotels identify problems and prioritize solutions and offer better services of the Luxury hotels. The outcomes of the study will assist hotel management in gaining a complete knowledge of client complaints regarding service difficulties and promoting service enhancements. Managers can determine the most effective customer retention approach by knowing the likelihood of customer complaints over time. This study was conducted to examine and analyze the content of positive and negative customer reviews from Booking.com, Expedia, and TripAdvisor in five-star hotels in Manila. SERVQUAL dimensions was used to classify both positive and negative reviews from the selected OTAs in five-star hotels in Manila. Findings revealed that the responsiveness dimension in the recreational services area received the highest number of customer reviews than any other service area of the hotels gathered from the selected OTAs of the study.

Abstract: This study aimed to know the impacts of COVID-19 on the mental health of the Microtel by Wyndham South Forbes employees during the COVID-19 pandemic using Husserl's transcendental phenomenological approach. This study aimed to understand the lived experiences of the employees regarding their mental health. This is a qualitative study that utilizes a phenomenological research design. The study's target population is the employees whose working period and mental wellness are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic at the Microtel by Wyndham South Forbes. In data collection, researchers conducted a survey questionnaire for the employees that worked before and during the pandemic at Microtel by Wyndham South Forbes. The researchers interpreted and analyzed the data via Colaizzi’s Structure in Data Analysis for phenomenological research. According to the results of the researcher's study, the majority of respondents were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in their mental health, job, and financial situations. Despite working under the COVID-19 pandemic, some of them remain optimistic about life. The researchers strongly encourage this study for the following recipient: It is recommended for future researchers and future employees of the Microtel by Wyndham South Forbes to evaluate the lived experience of the employees that labored during the new normal of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract: Theme parks have grown in popularity around the world, not only because they are a popular source of major amusement, but also because they are a stress-relieving destination for both children and adults. At Walt Disney World, there are four different and unique destinations: EPCOT, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and the Magic Kingdom, which is the most popular of the three. This qualitative study aims to acquire information from secondary data gathered from various YouTube vlogs in order to assist researchers in determining the elements that influence tourists' desire to return to Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom Theme Park. Simultaneously, establish what strategies might be offered and developed to aid tourists' desire to return to the stated park, and other theme parks. Through content analysis, a qualitative research approach was employed to examine tourists' experiences, perceptions, and statements. In addition, data extraction employed a purposive sample strategy, with the YouTube videos (vlogs) from second-time or more visits to Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom theme park. The study concludes that the image of the destination, level of happiness that tourists have with the site, infrastructure, natural and cultural surroundings, level of safety and security, and price, are all key elements that can greatly impact visitors' intents to return to a theme park. Several recommendations are then made for other theme and amusement parks to improve tourists’ intention to return.

Abstract: Service quality has been identified as a critical problem in the tourism industry. Despite several studies on service quality, the function of service quality and customer satisfaction in the tourism business, as well as their relationship, remain unsolved. The main focus of this paper is to assess the level of Customer Satisfaction in The Farm at San Benito Based on Online Reviews from Selected Travel Websites. This study also addresses the well-known SERVQUAL model and describes additional service quality and customer satisfaction models used in the tourism sector. The model focuses on the five variables namely, tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy focusing on their core products as a Holistic Medical Wellness Resort. Based on the data gathered from five hundred reviews from the four travel websites, the study concludes that the respondents are overall satisfied with the Wellness Resort Services.
