Abstract: The objective materials management is to ensure that the right item is bought and made available to the production at the right time, at the right place and at the lowest possible cost it is also known as Inventory Management. We undergone review of literatures around forty four regarding material management it is observed that most of the studies were conducted in the areas concerned with mass production system. No studies were found to be done in the area of continuous production system. To fill the gap this study intended to assess the role of materials management in Arignar Anna Sugar Mills and its effect over the profitability. The Sugar industries are basically depending upon the agricultural production, geographical and climate conditions. Management of materials has the biggest problems for many years to most of the sugar mills in production of sugar.

Abstract: Indian health drinks market is one of the fastest growing markets in the world. India has the second largest population in the world, with diversified food habits. Such a vast population and diverse eating habits make India one of the most attractive retail destinations across the globe. Increasing purchasing power, changing lifestyle, growing nuclear families and influence of western culture are the key drivers of the Indian food and drinks market. Universally, in bringing up their children, mothers attach a lot of emotional importance to nourishment. There is an ever-growing need for nourishment and energy in today’s fast-paced world.

Abstract: The aim of the study was to find out the factors influencing adoption of sustainable procurement practices in the energy sector particularly oil and gas sector in Kenya. The specific objectives of the study were to examine the effects of resource capacity, legal & regulatory framework, supplier participation and management commitment. The study used a target population of 150 employees from the procurement department while the sample size of 45 employees was determined by 30%, since it has been argued that such a sample size is adequate for a descriptive survey study (Patton, 2002). Stratified random sampling technique was also used to select respondents in the study population since it ensured that all the respondents had an equal and unbiased chance of participating in the study. A descriptive research design as well as use of questionnaires was also used in order to acquire the findings. Quantitative data was analyzed using tally sheet and presented by use of tables. In addition the study used multiple regression analysis to analyze the data. Regarding resource capacity, the study indicates that resource capacity significantly and positively influenced on the implementation of sustainable procurement in oil and gas sector in Kenya. The study further concluded that legal & regulatory framework have a significant and a positive effect on the implementation of sustainable procurement in oil and gas sector in Kenya. The study further concluded that supplier participation had significant and a positive effect on the implementation of sustainable procurement in oil and gas sector in Kenya. The study finally concluded that management commitment had a significant and positive effect on the implementation of sustainable procurement in oil and gas sector in Kenya.

Abstract: The purpose of the study was to examine the determinants of e-procurement strategy implementation in state corporations in Kenya: a case study of Kenya National Highway Authority (KENHA).The study aimed to establish how information technology, Skills, Government policies and availability of resources affected implementation of e-procurement strategy in KENHA. A questionnaire was used where all the 80 staff in all departments was issued with. Data was collected using self-administered questionnaires to collect data. The data collected is analyzed using descriptive statistics, regression and correlation analysis for quantitative data and content analysis for qualitative data. The study found and concluded that information technology, skills, government policies and availability of resources played critical roles in enhancing E-procurement strategy implementation in KENHA. From the correlation analysis, the study confirms that there were significant positive relationships between the independent variables (information technology, skills, government policies, resource availability) and dependent variable (E-procurement strategy implementation). The regression analysis further revealed that the four factors that were studied, explain 71.2% of e-procurement strategy implementation with resources availability contributing most to the E-procurement strategy Implementation followed by information technology, skills and government policies respectively.

Abstract: The Binondo (Chinatown), Manila is regarded as a food tourist site in which the tourist site offers authentic foods with a mix of Chinese and Filipino influence, the area also boasts other heritage sites such as the Binondo Church, Sta. Cruz Church, Jones Bridge and the Chinese-Filipino Friendship arch. The study explores the foreign experience in Binondo, Manila using secondary data gathering on online review website which is the TripAdvisor the researchers use review which is 5 years ago which range from 2015 to 2019 and 2020. There are a total of 104 respondents in which the reviews are used to analyze both quantitative and qualitatively. The result shows that that most of the foreign tourist experience in visiting Binondo is very good and the result shows that consistently the ratings of the foreign tourist improved every year. While the online reviews indicated that the themed for excellent online review is the place and the culture and traditions involved around it which includes the food, for average it is the authenticity of the area and the accessibility of the area and the maintenance of the old structures, while terrible review suggest mostly the place is overcrowded, heavy traffic and lack of parking space and lastly the poor review suggest security concerns and cleanliness of the place.

Abstract: A study of financial performance of proposed merger and post-merger in public banking sector. Our aim is to analyzing the performance of banking system in India and examines financial performance of proposed merger and post-merger in public baking sector and measure the profitability, liquidity and credit management of selected banks. To achieve these objectives, we would collect the data of financial ratio and its figures from money control and on the basis of the calculated averages we would make the visual graphs ratios, we would also analyze their financial performance after merger as if their performance, either there has been positivity.

Abstract: Aware of the widening fiscal deficit in Kenya, we seek to identify the threshold level of fiscal deficit by employing an annual dataset for the period 1985 to 2015 to estimate the threshold model for Kenya. We find that fiscal deficit, investment, secondary school enrollment, financial deepening and degree of openness to the economy to be positive and significant for growth in Kenya. We also find that the fiscal deficit is good for growth and identified a threshold fiscal deficit level of 5 percent of GDP for the period covered.

Abstract: The main objective of this study was to find out how idealized influence affect employee engagement in Public Universities in Kenya. The study adopted a descriptive survey research design. This study sampled 20 Chairpersons of Departments, 5 Registrars of Academic Affairs, 5 Deans of Students, 5 Quality assurance officers and 313 Lecturers. A total sample of 348 respondents were drawn using stratified random sampling techniques from a target population 5 out of the 31 public university that included; University of Nairobi, Moi University, Egerton University, Kenyatta University and Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology. Data was collected using questionnaires and document analysis. Data was analyzed quantitatively by use of mean and standard deviations and qualitatively by regression, Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and trend analysis. The results were presented in form of frequency tables. The results indicate that there is a relatively strong but significantly positive association between idealized influence and employee engagement (R=.548). The coefficient of determination R2 =.301 implies that idealized influence explains 30.1% of the variation in employee engagement.

Abstract: Reverse logistics can be defined as moving goods from customer side towards manufacturer in order for the goods to be refilled, reprocessing, repaired or waste disposal. It is a separate chain where maximum value from the goods is absorbed ensure proper disposal. It becomes a matter of importance when the materials salvaged can be recycled to make new products cutting the cost of new raw materials. By moving with this aspect, we must also ensure that quality is also not compromised in the new product coming out with recycled material. Such that various inspection methods that are used in choosing the plastics must also not be random. Recycling is also chosen to reduce the production of waste but a main method of rapid resource is a reusing. This paper is submitted by studying various papers from different journals with the required knowledge. A conceptual framework is made as a base to obtain maximum insight about the methods used to inspect the material before recycling and quality.

Abstract: Restructuring and organisational change leads managements to organise and replan their ability to recharge their firms batteries to arise against external crisis. Nevertheless, organisation redesign drains financial resources and offset the firms directions lead to series errors and internal confusion.  Addressing the situation during pandemic on insurance sector as one of various business division organisations in Sultanate of Oman been raid by the serious environmental shifts. The research will take place taking workers opinions from various departments on the restructuring process and their satisfaction inside the firms. The study hand down the company’s restructuring attempts. The pandemic pushed managers to work under pressure establishing new restructuring procedures and receive unexpected reactions inside the company. However, the current condition blinds and blur management visions to an illusion state stops identifying other companies experience implementing different restructuring techniques revealed in earlier scholarly researches.

Abstract: This study aims to obtain empirical evidence of the influence financial rewards, work environment, and social values on the interest of accounting students in choosing a public accountants career with gender as a moderator. Methods of determining the sample in this study using probability sampling techniques. The sample of this study was 234 students majoring in accounting at Udayana University and the University of National Education. The data collection method used was a questionnaire in the form of a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is moderated regression analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the work environment had a positive effect on students' interest in choosing a career as public accountant, while financial rewards and social values had no effect. Gender moderates the effect of financial rewards on students' interest in choosing a career as public accountant, work environment and social values are not moderated by gender.

Abstract: Employees performance is the biggest factor in determining the success of the company. To be able to provide good performance, employees need, among others, compensation, a good work environment and motivation. This study aims to analyze the effect of compensation on employee performance, the effect of work environment on employee performance and the effect of work motivation on employee performance. To analyze the effect of compensation on employee motivation and the effect of work environment on employee motivation. To analyze work motivation to mediate the effect of compensation on employee performance and to analyze work motivation to mediate the effect of the work environment on employee performance. Respondents in this study were all 41 permanent employees (sensus) at Rock Bar The AYANA Resort and Spa, Bali, because during the Covid-19 Pandemic only they were still working and to lettle to be decreased. Methods of data collection by distributing questionnaires to employees and this study uses data analysis Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of this study indicate that compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The work environment has a positive and significant effect on performance. Motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee motivation. The work environment has a positive and significant effect on motivation. The role of motivation to mediate partially (partial mediation) the effect of compensation on employee performance. And The role of motivation to mediate partially (partial mediation) the influence of the work environment on employee performance. This research can be used as input to the company to pay attention to the factors that still need to be improved, namely training to improve employee competence, training for superiors and all employees how to correct mistakes in a good way, a sense of mutual help between employees, and all employees need to be reminded to always follow the existing procedures.

Abstract: This study aims to examine the effect of tax, profitability, tunneling incentive, and Good Corporate Governance (GCG) on transfer pricing. The data used in this study was secondary data obtained by accessing the Indonesia Stock Exchange website, www.idx.co.id. The research population was manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange on the 2015-2019 period. The data collection method used a non-participant observation with a purposive sampling technique. The number of research samples was 14 companies. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression. The results of this study show that tax and profitability did not affect transfer pricing, tunneling incentive has a negative effect on transfer pricing, and Good Corporate Governance (GCG) has a positive effect on transfer pricing.

Abstract: The capital market has an important role for the economy of a country because of two functions as a means of funding and a means of investing in financial instruments. Information plays an important role in the capital market, both internal and external information. One of the external information is the announcement of a global pandemic related to the Covid-19 virus. This study aims to analyze the information content by looking at the reaction of the capital market in Indonesia to the announcement of a global pandemic related to the Covid-19 virus by the World Health Organization (WHO) on March 11, 2020 based on the type of industry and to examine the influence of foreign investors on this reaction. This research is an event study with an observation period of 5 exchange working days, namely two days before (t-2), event date (t0), and two days after the event (t + 2). The samples in this study were all companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange based on the industrial sector in 2020. The sampling method was purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used the mean difference test (two way ANOVA) and simple linear regression. The results showed that there was a significant difference in the mean cumulative abnormal return before and after the announcement of the global pandemic related to the Covid-19 virus by the World Health Organization (WHO) on March 11, 2020 based on different types of industry. Meanwhile, with two linear regression tests for cumulative abnormal returns before and after the event, foreign share ownership had no effect on cumulative abnormal returns due to the announcement of a global pandemic related to the Covid-19 virus by the World Health Organization (WHO) on March 11, 2020 in Indonesia.
