Abstract: Professionally managed human resources can improve individual performance and help the organization achieve its goals. Bali Enjoy Konveksi Denpasar is a convection company that also pays attention to the performance of human resources in achieving predetermined targets.

This research was conducted to determine the influence of work skills, innovative behavior and work environment on employee performance. The population and sample of this research are all employees of Bali Enjoy Konveksi Denpasar, where the research population size is 80 people. This research uses a saturated sampling or census method. Data collection was carried out through distributing questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis.

Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that work skills have a positive effect on employee performance at Bali Enjoy Konveksi Denpasar. High work skills will make employees have better performance. Innovative behavior has a positive effect on employee performance at Bali Enjoy Konveksi Denpasar. The better the innovative behavior of employees, the more employees will improve their performance at Bali Enjoy Konveksi Denpasar. The work environment has a positive effect on employee performance at Bali Enjoy Konveksi Denpasar. The better the work environment felt by employees, the more employees will improve their performance at Bali Enjoy Konveksi Denpasar

Abstract: Productivity of an organization is a major concern of every manager and is of great interest by the shareholders of any given company and other stakeholders. This study focused on employees' motivation and its relevance to organizational productivity. This study is to investigate the effect that employee motivation has on the success of the organization. A case study of Ken Trade Network Agency Company was taken to ensure detailed investigation of the variables. Employee motivation, if not given the attention it requires shall lead to disastrous effects such as underutilization of Ken Trade resources, absenteeism and low productivity of the organization in general. The study was led by the objectives of finding out the effect of remuneration on employee motivation, to establish the effects of working conditions, to determine the effect of training and the effects of job security on employee motivation. The Maslow's Hierarchy of needs theory, Vroom's expectancy theory and Herzberg motivation theory were employed to understand the subject better. To facilitate the research to be as efficient as possible to yield maximum information, studying of five variables namely, working conditions, remuneration, job security, training and organizational productivity was the conceptual framework of the study. A descriptive design was adopted and statistical descriptions were used to summarize and analyze the data that was collected. The means of statistical tools including measures of central tendencies such as the mean, and measures of dispersion such as standard deviation, and measures of the relationship among the variables, such as regression analysis was used. A significant sample size of 45 employees was chosen by use of slovins formula. The sample elements were chosen by using purposive judgmental technique for the upper level of management and systematic random sampling was used for other employees and detailed analysis was done with the help of SPSS. Data was collected by use of questionnaire and after, analysis was presented in form of tables. The study established that remuneration such as money leads to improved organizational productivity. The study established that promotion expectation motivates employees to work hard and that there is a significant relationship between employee motivation and remuneration. Further the study established that job performance level rises when training sessions are organized in an organization. The study findings established that giving employee’s freedom to act lead to increased motivation. From the research findings, the study concludes that employees are provided with adequate working tools. The study concludes that good working environment motivates employees to give their best and that good working environment creates team work and good customer service. The study recommends that the management should review employee remuneration so as to influence organizational productivity. The study recommends that management should provide employees with continuous trainings so as to improve organizational productivity. The study recommends that the management should accord employees enough space to innovate and think freely so as to improve employee and organizational performance.

Abstract: Rice cake vendors living in Pinagsabangan II, Naujan, Philippines, hold a potential key to community-based tourism (CBT). Although a formal understanding of CBT is in its infancy, positive visitor interactions and aspirations for community development suggest exciting possibilities. At the heart of their success are rice cakes, bibingka in local terms, beloved cultural product and a cornerstone of memorable tourist encounters. Qualitative interviews with six key informants revealed the challenges they face: lean times, competition, weather, security concerns, and other external factors. Government interventions such as training, promotion, and financial support have been implemented, but gaps in effectiveness need to be addressed. The proposed management extension program of the study aims to address these concerns and unlock the full potential of CBT. Focused on CBT awareness, capacity building, vendor partnerships, and government collaboration, the program seeks to develop a sustainable, inclusive model of tourism that benefits the local community. Ultimately, the tourist experiences will be reinvented using the existing legacy of Pinagsabangan II - its beloved rice cakes.

Abstract: Operations management is essential for achieving greater speed, quality, and cost effectiveness. The implementation of lean systems can help achieve these aspects of customer satisfaction. Performance at every level will rise as a result of operations transformation. Lean management, six Sigma, total quality management, Kaizen, and automation are all examples of tools for improving operations. This study was founded on two objectives; to find out the extent of implementation of operations improvement approaches at Kenya Power & Lighting Company (KPLC), to determine the effect of these operations improvement approaches on customer satisfaction. The study adopted a quantitative descriptive survey approach. The study targeted respondents from KPLC as well as its customers. A total of 385 respondents were randomly selected to participate in the study from both KPLC Staff and its customers where 290 respondents shared back their feedback. Data was collected using a Google form survey questionnaire which contained close ended questions.  Data was analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics and presented in accordance with the objectives of the study. Regression analysis was adopted to determine the relationship between operations improvement approaches variables and customer satisfaction variables. This objective established that Total Quality Management, Lean Management, Kaizen, Automation and Six-Sigma all had a positive relationship with customer satisfaction in Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC). Results of regression analysis revealed that 67.4% of the variance in Customer Satisfaction was explained by the variation in the independent variables.  Results of F-test indicated an F value at degree of freedom (5, 284) of 17.755 which was significant as it was greater that the critical value of 2.21. The study was limited first by the objectives which focused on five key operational improvement approaches leaving other variables. The study was also constrained by the fact that focus was on one county with different levels of power connectivity, economic levels as well as service levels which may make it difficult to map the findings to the other 46 counties. The study recommends that policy makers and formulators of strategies need to take advantage of the opportunities provided by operations improvement approaches to enhance organizational service delivery. Furthermore, while implementing strategy, policy makers should ensure open communication so that that all stakeholders are aware of strategies and policies being implemented. Further studies should focus on operations improvement approaches and customer satisfaction of either all parastatals in Kenya, multinational companies or private service providers.

Abstract: The objective of this paper is to present a discussion on the significance of compensation management on organisational productivity. Compensation management occupy a central focus in organisational setting and the way an organisation manages its compensation affairs will go a long way to determine the fortune(s) of the organisation both in the short and long run.

To achieve this objective, a review of current related literatures of some of the major factors driving compensations as published in leading research journals was carried out. Two broad types of compensation strategies were identified being financial and non-financial compensation. Each of this broad division have attached variables and sub-variables that have direct impact on the behaviour of employees in an organisation.

The findings revealed that there is a positive relationship between employee compensation and organisational productivity. Different organisations use different methods to motivate their employees to increase and sustain productivity. It is advisable however, for organisation to use both strategies depending on their policy options and the objectives they want to achieve. Combined utilisation of these strategies especially in multi-ethnic, social and cultural dimensions as well as gender and communal issues becomes imperative so as to prevent avoidable discontent and disruptions to services being rendered by the organisation.

This study concluded that whenever management fail to formulate the right compensation policies, the will to administer and implement these policies whenever they are formulated, always have enormous capacities to stunt organisation growth and development. It is advisable that organisation management should go the extra mile to get their compensation strategies right in order to achieve the desired productivity objectives.

Abstract: The invention of Information and communication technology has made tremendous changes in the present-day world. The advent of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has revolutionized the world in many ways, including education. In the past, classrooms were typically filled with chalkboards, textbooks, and lectures. However, as technology has advanced, so has our ability to incorporate it into the classroom. ICT has brought about a paradigm shift in the way teaching and learning are carried out in schools, colleges, and universities. The use of ICT in teaching has enabled teachers to create a better learning environment for students, making it easy for them to grasp complex concepts and ideas. This write-up explores the impact of ICT in teaching and learning and how it has transformed education. No area has been influenced by this digital phenomenon. The advent of ICT in education helped to improve the quality of education where teaching and learning eventually became an engaging active process related to real life. Active and collaborative learning conditions facilitated by ICT help to develop a knowledge-based student community. This gives an overview of the use of ICTs in the field of education focusing on its impact on the teaching-learning process, quality and accessibility of education, motivating learners, learning environment, and student's academic performance. It includes both the positive and negative impact of ICT on teaching and learning in schools. Discussion on the impact is thoroughly done and recommendations are given in this paper. The literature review highlights the positive impacts of ICT on teaching and learning in secondary schools in Uganda. It explores the integration of ICT in classrooms, access to digital resources, e-learning and blended learning, and teacher professional development, as well as the challenges faced. Understanding the benefits and challenges of ICT implementation in this context is crucial for policymakers, educators, and stakeholders to design effective strategies and support systems to enhance teaching and learning outcomes in secondary schools across Uganda.

Abstract: This research paper wants to explore the nexus between organizational culture and innovation in modern organizations. By reviewing relevant conceptual, theoretical and empirical literature of previous studies, this research paper examines how various cultural aspects such as leadership, values and norms, communication, and employee engagement affect innovation. The review is informed by the competing Values Framework and the Organizational Innovation Theory, and covers the key study and authors in the field, such as Aboramadan et al., (2020) and Zhang et al. (2018). Different findings revealed that there is empirical evidence that organizational culture has a positive and important impact on innovation in organizational settings. Abstract: The aim of this work is to explore the impact of digital transformation strategies on SMEs operating in the food manufacturing sector in the UK. An empirical qualitative approach was followed with semi structured interviews with managers in the sector to evaluate the role of digital transformation in enhancing operational efficiency. Findings demonstrate that the main drivers of engaging in digital transformation strategies within SMEs in the food manufacturing sector have to do with the increase of their efficiency by reducing inputs and utilizing existing inputs more effectively, and at the same time enhance outputs. We also found that the barriers and challenges of realizing the full benefits of digital transformation were mainly practical. Evidence revealed issues with resource limitations, financial barriers and often the cost of investing in new technology, which curtail digital transformation ambitions. The study contributes to the existing body of knowledge and promotes the agenda for future research in the domain, while results can be considered by policy makers to promote the digital transformation adoption.

Abstract: In recent years, the construction industry in the USA has experienced record gaps in the workforce. The labor gap cuts across multiple areas in construction industry, including civil engineers, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, architects, surveyors, skilled trades, HVAC technicians, and plumbing. A company with a weak talent roster will struggle against more robust competitors. A lack of skilled construction workers means that staff on site simply lack the knowledge and experience to perform tasks in the most effective and efficient ways. This creates delays and cost overruns, with rework. Adding to the current situation, the future will likely bring even more pressure on construction output. More work under an unforgiving schedule means teams must move faster and potentially take shortcuts to minimize delays, which translates into a higher chance of safety issues and quality problems. Unfortunately, the trends suggest the shortage is unlikely to end any time soon. Considering the severity of the workforce shortage and the likelihood of it increasing, it is clearly important to many contractors to optimize the productivity of their current workers. Abstract: This study intends to develop a budget allocation model using the Association Budget Planner to avoid the threat of mismanagement of the available budget.  By implementing sound financial planning and leveraging the markup strategy, UPSHBBA successfully navigated the challenges of bankruptcy, ultimately revitalizing its financial standing. The pivotal tool in this transformation was the application of the 50/30/20 rule for budget allocation. Based on the initial findings and conclusions, it is advisable to incorporate an annual budget allocation within the association's strategic planning framework. Proactively adhering to this budget plan is essential for sustaining the positive trajectory. When budgetary setbacks occur, consider remedial actions such as outsourcing to address any financial gaps and ensure the continued stability and sustainability of UPSHBBA. Reviewing the expenditures in the financial planning and reducing them helps minimize the financial gaps. Use up-to-date reports to know how much money is going out and into the associations’ finances.

Abstract: The study is designed to determine the impact of digital marketing barriers on the performance of micro and small online businesses. The hypotheses that were proposed were: access to digital marketing has a significant impact on the performance of micro and small online businesses; the business’ digital marketing knowledge and skills have a significant impact on the performance of micro and small online businesses; and the budget allocated for digital marketing has a significant impact on the performance of micro and small online businesses. The study was done using descriptive research design and employed quantitative research method. The survey was conducted among 60 online business owners who were selected using convenience sampling; however, only 42 questionnaires were used to analyze the results. The Cronbach's alpha was used to check the reliability of the research instrument. The data gathered were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, standard error, R square, and beta were shown to better analyze the results of the survey that was conducted. The result shows that access to digital marketing, the business’ digital marketing knowledge and skills, and the budget allocated for digital marketing have a positive significant impact on the performance of micro and small online businesses.

Abstract: This study sought to establish the opportunities availed by the advent of electric vehicles and air pollution control in Kenya. This study examines the effects of electric vehicles and the integration of renewable energy sources on ecological sustainability, public well-being, and economic progress, with a particular emphasis on the context of Kenya. By using the principles of Demand Theory, the Economic Theory of a Faith-Based Approach to Global Warming, and the Environmental Kuznet Curve Theory, this study highlights the worldwide trend towards adopting cleaner alternatives in pursuit of sustainable economies. This study uses description and predictive methodology. The empirical evidence indicates a rising need for electric vehicles and clean energy solutions, which is consistent with theoretical frameworks that anticipate a heightened environmental awareness accompanying economic progress. The research highlights the significant importance of government policies, fiscal incentives, and infrastructure development in facilitating this change. The observed patterns demonstrate a significant positive association between the widespread adoption of electric vehicles, the mitigation of air pollution, and the creation of improved economic prospects.

Abstract: In this era financial statements is most required for every organization, industries, banks and group of companies. These entities prepare their financial statements monthly, quarterly, semiannual and yearly wise. The financial statements of a company are to be prepared as per the prescribed form given in schedule III of companies act 2013. This financial statements provide the structured and reliable information to the all accounting users.  The accounting users are government, chartered accountant, creditors, investors, shareholders and educational institutions. These accounting users may analyze the financial statements to get the financial performance of companies. In recent years the banks are highly contributed to the Indian economy. Banks also prepared their financial statements for accounting users.  This study involved two banks that are HDFC bank and BOB bank. The HDFC bank represents the top private sector bank in India. And the BOB bank represents a second among India's top 10 public sector banks. The analysis of this banks financial statements done through ratio analysis tools that are Liquidity ratio, Current ratio, quick ratio, profitability ratio, Gross profit ratio and net profit ratio and efficiency ratio.

Abstract: Board structure has specific country-based features that enables the efficient and effective handling of firms’ financial performance. In Kenya, the all-round board structure importance in enhancing the commercial and service industry performance cannot be over stated as this potentially affects the profitability of these firms and the industry at large. However, the ineffectiveness and poor management of firms by the board over the years has led to the decline in the commercial and service firms’ financial performance. With regard to this background, this inquiry attempts to close existing gaps in literature by investigating the manner in which board structure affects commercial listed and service listed firms’ financial performance at the Nairobi Securities and Exchange Kenya. With the interest variables to be board size, independence, tenure and age affecting the traded firms’ performance financially on Nairobi Securities and Exchange commercial and service firms in Kenya. An ex-post research design was utilized in this investigation. Relying on the presupposition in which the study employed, stewardship, agency and resources dependence theories were adopted to explain their relevance to the work. Eleven (11) listed commercial and service firms was used to determine how such board structure variables determine the listed firms financial performance between 2015 and 2022. Notably from the output, board size was noted to be insignificantly affected inversely Kenyan listed commercial and service firms’ financial performance; board independence was considered by the output to be positive on the financial performance noting significance; board tenure was also revealed to have positive and yet insignificant on financial performance; while board age was negatively in a manner that is insignificantly affected performance financially. The drawn recommendation put across is that the Kenyan management of these firms should consider cutting down the size of the board to improve performance financially.
