Abstract: Urban planning processes often marginalize people with disabilities, especially members of the Deaf community, due to limited accessibility in communication channels used in public consultations and decision-making forums. This review explores how real-time sign language interpretation technologies can be integrated into digital urban planning platforms to foster inclusive governance and participatory policymaking. It examines existing barriers to participation, technological advancements in real-time interpretation, and frameworks for inclusive design in civic technology. Drawing on interdisciplinary research from urban studies, disability rights, and digital accessibility innovation, the study highlights best practices and case studies where urban planning has been made more inclusive for deaf individuals. It also critiques existing digital platforms used in municipal planning and evaluates how they can be restructured to include accessible features such as live sign language interpretation, captioning, and user-centered design principles. The paper underscores the need for a policy shift towards equity in civic engagement and presents a strategic roadmap for embedding accessibility in smart city initiatives. Ultimately, this review advocates for participatory justice through inclusive technology, ensuring that the voices of the Deaf community are heard and valued in shaping urban futures.

Abstract: Objectives: Current generations of college students are experiencing elevated levels of stress and anxiety impacting them academically and at times continuing into their career paths. Graduate students, particularly those in demanding programs such as speech-language pathology (SLP), often struggle with managing academic and clinical stressors. Mindfulness training, particularly through programs like Koru Mindfulness (KM), has been suggested as an effective intervention for reducing stress and improving mental health outcomes in this population. This study examines the impact of a mindfulness curriculum based on KM integrated into an SLP program, focusing on how various facets of mindfulness predict perceived stress in the SLPs as graduates. Methods: A quantitative approach was used, with 33 SLP alumni completing surveys that measured mindfulness (via the Five Facet Mindfulness Questionnaire), life experiences (via the Life Experiences Survey), and perceived stress (via the Perceived Stress Scale). Results: Facets of mindfulness, including acting with awareness and nonjudgmental attitude, were significant predictors of lower perceived stress. Furthermore, mindfulness training during graduate school was reported as beneficial by most participants, with many continuing to practice mindfulness post-graduation. Conclusions: These findings suggest that mindfulness training could play a key role in helping SLP professionals manage stress both during their academic careers and into practice. The study also highlights the need for further research on the long-term effects of mindfulness interventions in professional education, particularly in healthcare fields like speech-language pathology.

Abstract: This article aimed to explore the personality types and motivational factors that influence Licensed Professional Teachers (LPTs) to shift into non-teaching roles.  A total of ten (10) LPTs participated in the study, with nine (9) employed in the private sector and one (1) from the public sector. Qualitative research was employed, specifically utilizing the case study method.  Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, and thematic analysis techniques.  Most participants were female, aged between 26 and 27, and held bachelor’s degrees.  They typically held full-time administrative roles in the private sector, earning monthly salaries ranging from 15,000 to 30,000 pesos.  The most prevalent personality types identified were ISTJ (Introverted, Sensing, Thinking, Judging) and ESTJ (Extraverted, Sensing, Thinking, Judging)—both of which are associated with being logical, detail-oriented, and dependable. Additionally, key extrinsic motivations for shifting careers included the DepEd recruitment process, competitive compensation, and better work-life balance.  Intrinsic motivation was largely driven by the pursuit of personal fulfillment.  The study's findings highlight the importance of individualized career pathing programs for freshmen teacher education students, particularly those who are evaluating their future choices. Meanwhile, in response to increased career shifting among Licensed Professional Teachers (LPTs), it suggests offering MBTI assessments alongside entrance and qualifying tests at the start of the academic year, followed by workshops and seminars at the end of the first year. These findings can help the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) and other stakeholders develop responsive, personality-based support services. The researcher recommends that flexible workshops and counseling should also be offered to help teacher education students match their strengths with their career ambitions. Finally, collaboration among administrators, faculty, psychologists, and guidance counselors is critical for increasing teacher education students' commitment to the teaching profession and promoting long-term growth.

Abstract: The convergence of artificial intelligence (AI), software-defined networking (SDN), and cybersecurity has opened new avenues for protecting critical infrastructure systems against increasingly sophisticated cyber threats. This review explores how emerging entrepreneurial ventures are pioneering AI-driven solutions for anomaly detection within SDN architectures, particularly in sectors like energy, transportation, and healthcare. By decoupling control and data planes, SDN offers centralized programmability that enhances network agility but also introduces new vulnerabilities. AI techniques—such as machine learning, deep learning, and neural networks—have been adopted by cybersecurity startups to build scalable and adaptive anomaly detection frameworks that mitigate these vulnerabilities in real time. This paper examines the landscape of entrepreneurial innovation, highlighting case studies of startups that leverage AI to enhance threat detection, automate response mechanisms, and provide predictive security analytics in SDN environments. Emphasis is placed on the integration of zero-trust principles, edge intelligence, and decentralized detection architectures. Furthermore, the paper analyzes the commercial viability, scalability, and deployment challenges of these solutions, as well as their implications for regulatory compliance and cyber resilience. The findings highlight the growing significance of entrepreneurial ecosystems in driving technological advancements that safeguard critical infrastructure against evolving cyber risks.

Abstract: In the current context, as technology and information technology continue to develop, the application of technology in payments, transactions, and transfers has become increasingly convenient, which has somewhat facilitated the increasingly complex and sophisticated evolution of money laundering crimes. Along with that, in the global context, with the advantages of convenience and ease in capital circulation, the increasing flow of goods, and the growing number of multinational companies and enterprises, the ability to access transactions and transfers, as well as through cross-border investments for money laundering, is becoming increasingly favorable and rising. Therefore, according to crime prevention experts, money laundering is currently one of the major global issues. In addition, corruption is weakening the potential of nations. Like other countries around the world, Vietnam is facing many challenges in the fight against corruption and money laundering. This article focuses on clarifying the fundamental issues regarding corruption offenses and money laundering offenses; the connection between anti-corruption efforts and anti-money laundering; legal regulations, and the current state of anti-corruption and anti-money laundering efforts in Vietnam.

Abstract: The Sekawan Sejati area is managed separately by each village institution, meaning the areas have different functional policies due to different government involvement. However, similar tourism potential provides an opportunity for sustainable management collaboration implemented in stages. Tourism area management is determined based on tourism criteria established in the research. Direct observations and interviews were conducted to obtain scores for the existing sub-criteria. The established policies were obtained through in-depth interviews with authorities such as the Rinjani Barat Forest Management Unit (KPH) and the Nuraksa Forest Park (Tahura Nuraksa). The results of the study indicate that ecotourism management is regulated based on six policies from the Minister of Environment and Forestry and the West Lombok Regency government policies, which serve as guidelines for the Sekawan Sejati ecotourism management. Area management is divided into three aspects: economic, environmental, and social. Based on these aspects, four management indicators were obtained: tourist attractions, human resources, institutions, and other supporting services.

Abstract: The rapid adoption of new energy vehicles (NEVs) hinges on resolving consumer cognitive dissonance between environmental aspirations and practical barriers. This study investigates how Tesla and BYD transform dissonance into brand loyalty by leveraging environmental identity and mitigating range anxiety. Through a mixed-method approach—analyzing consumer surveys (n=1,200) and corporate strategy documents—we identify distinct pathways: Tesla’s premium branding converts eco-consciousness into status symbolism, while BYD’s "Dynasty Series" cultural narratives reframe affordability as patriotic sustainability. Our findings reveal that range anxiety reduction (via supercharging networks or blade battery technology) mediates environmental identity’s impact on trust by 37%. Crucially, Tesla’s direct customer control model amplifies experiential assurance, whereas BYD’s dealer partnerships enhance accessibility but dilute messaging coherence. The research proposes a Dissonance-to-Loyalty (D2L) Framework, demonstrating that targeted anxiety mitigation can increase repurchase intent by 24% for premium segments and 31% for mass markets. These insights optimize NEV marketing for divergent consumer psychographics amid subsidy reductions.

Abstract: This paper examines the multifaceted role of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) economic and trade cooperation in facilitating cultural flows between China and Central Asian nations, conceptualized as reviving the "Silk Road Spirit." While primarily an economic and security bloc, the SCO fosters deep interdependence through initiatives in trade liberalization, infrastructure connectivity, energy partnerships, and financial integration. This research argues that these economic interactions create crucial enabling conditions and tangible pathways for enhanced cultural exchange. The study employs qualitative analysis of SCO policy documents, agreements, and project data, combined with case studies illustrating how increased trade corridors, joint ventures, and people-to-people mobility fostered by SCO frameworks directly stimulate flows in tourism, educational exchanges, artistic collaboration, and media dissemination. Findings demonstrate that SCO-driven economic interdependence acts as a powerful catalyst, reducing barriers and building mutual trust necessary for cultural engagement. The paper concludes that the SCO's economic architecture is not merely complementary to cultural diplomacy but is fundamentally intertwined with it, significantly shaping the contemporary cultural landscape across Eurasia and offering a model for understanding the economic underpinnings of transnational cultural dynamics.

Abstract: This applied research study examines the innovative capabilities of Hong Kong and China by analyzing their positions in global innovation indices and employing strategic framework tools. Utilizing metrics such as R&D expenditure, patent applications, and high-tech exports, we compare key aspects of their innovation ecosystems. Strategic frameworks like strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) analysis and the Object Key Result (OKR) strategic framework are applied to assess strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in each region's innovation strategies and then reviewed to determine the measurable result as the global innovation index.

Results from the innovation indices reveal that both regions have distinct advantages: Hong Kong benefits from a dynamic financial sector, while China leads in manufacturing and technological investments. Strategic tools like SWOT analysis underscore Hong Kong's potential for growth through partnerships with mainland China, enhancing its innovative capabilities.

In conclusion, this applied research study provides insights into how Hong Kong and China can leverage their respective strengths and collaborate to foster sustainable innovation. The findings suggest that strategic collaborations and policy initiatives could further enhance both regions' global competitiveness in the innovative landscape.

Abstract: Integrated Financial Management Information System is characterized as the automation of the Public Expenditure Management process, which includes budget development, budget implementation, and accounting, facilitated by an entirely integrated financial management system for departmental ministries and other expenditure agencies. The intent of this research was to investigate the effect of system infrastructure on performance of Turkana County Government, Kenya. This study was done using a descriptive survey research design. The study targeted a population of 150 staffs in Turkana County Government comprising of ICT officers, accounting officers, accountants, senior procurement officers and assistant procurement officers. The sample size of 109 responders was used and it was determined using stratified random sampling technique. Source data was gathered through semi-structured questionnaires and analyzed utilizing descriptive, relational and inferential analysis. The findings were presented using tables. The findings indicated that system infrastructure significantly and positively influenced the performance of the Turkana County Government. The research concluded that a strong system infrastructure facilitates better communication among different departments and agencies within the county government. The study recommends that the County should invest in expanding internet access across the county, particularly in remote areas, to facilitate communication, data sharing, and access to online services.

Abstract: This study explores the underlying factors that contribute to long-term employee loyalty and commitment within an institution. Through a qualitative approach, it identifies key influences such as supportive leadership, meaningful workplace relationships, recognition, growth opportunities, and alignment between personal and organizational values. The research also highlights how personal experiences and life stages shape employees’ perceptions of loyalty, as evolving priorities and compassionate treatment impact their level of commitment over time. Relationships with colleagues play a significant role by fostering peer support, satisfaction, and morale retention, while job satisfaction—driven by meaningful work, career growth, and a supportive culture—becomes increasingly important as employees age within the institution.

The findings conclude that employee loyalty is not merely a result of tenure or compensation but is rooted in emotional, social, and developmental engagement. Based on these insights, the study offers recommendations for employers and HR practitioners to cultivate supportive and value-aligned workplaces, for employees to actively pursue growth and positive relationships, and for future researchers to expand studies across industries and evolving work environments. The study ultimately emphasizes the importance of human connection, growth, and purpose in fostering sustained employee commitment.

Abstract: As data breaches and unauthorized modifications of transactional records continue to threaten data integrity, blockchain technology has emerged as a promising solution to reinforce trust in relational database systems. This review paper presents a comprehensive evaluation of blockchain-integrated logging mechanisms aimed at ensuring data integrity, traceability, and auditability in relational database transactions. By examining hybrid architectures that combine blockchain's immutability with conventional relational database features, the study explores how decentralized ledgers can secure logs against tampering, ensure verifiable audit trails, and enhance accountability in mission-critical applications. Various models such as append-only blockchains, smart contract-based verifications, and off-chain/on-chain synchronization strategies are analyzed for their performance, scalability, and compliance capabilities. Additionally, the paper reviews existing frameworks, deployment challenges, and performance trade-offs, offering insights into their applicability across sectors including finance, healthcare, and government data systems. The findings highlight the transformative potential of blockchain-based logging while outlining limitations and future directions for practical integration in real-world database environments.

Abstract: This qualitative study investigates the role of internal public relations (PR) in cultivating employee advocacy, with a particular focus on workplace reputation advocacy—employees’ voluntary communication that supports or promotes the organization’s identity, culture, and leadership. As organizations increasingly recognize employees as influential brand ambassadors, internal communication becomes a strategic lever for fostering trust, alignment, and credible public representation. Through in-depth interviews with mid-level employees and internal communication or HR managers, this research explores how leadership messaging, communication transparency, and feedback mechanisms shape employees’ willingness to advocate for their organization. Framed by Stakeholder Theory and the Internal Public Relations Model, the study identifies communication practices that build or hinder trust and examines how internal messaging influences employees’ emotional connection, professional identity, and sense of loyalty. Abstract: This review examines the impact of the two-tier distribution system and restrictive tied house laws on the growth and competitive landscape of the craft beer industry in California. While these regulatory frameworks were originally established to prevent monopolistic control and promote responsible alcohol distribution, they have inadvertently created structural barriers for small and independent craft breweries. The two-tier system, which separates producers from distributors, limits market access for emerging breweries and consolidates power among a few dominant distributors. Simultaneously, California’s strict tied house laws—prohibiting breweries from having financial interests in retail outlets—constrain promotional flexibility and limit direct consumer engagement. This paper explores the historical origins of these regulations, analyzes their implications on market entry, branding, and economic scalability, and highlights how some legislative reforms and creative compliance strategies have attempted to foster industry growth. By synthesizing legal, economic, and entrepreneurial perspectives, this review provides critical insights into how regulatory constraints influence innovation, market diversity, and the sustainability of craft brewing in California.
