Abstract: The paper discussed the effect of COVID-19 pandemic on the Business Operation of selected Coffee Shops in Dasmarinas City. The researchers conducted the study to the selected coffee shops in Dasmarinas City, Cavite based on their rank on the Tripadvisor review. Researchers used descriptive type of quantitative research design and sampling method to engage participants who are knowledgeable and can in-deftly provide valuable insights and information about the effect of COVID-19 pandemic on the business operation efficiency of the selected coffee shops and surveyed (30) selected participants that was willing to cooperate using google forms. Data collected were analyzed by using statistical methods to have a clear results. The collected data analysis results including the (4) four operational management; Service, Sales, Marketing and Procurement shows the effect of COVID-19 pandemic to the business operation on said businesses.

Abstract: The value and importance of medium-sized businesses in a knowledge-based economy has long been recognized. Medium-sized businesses, on the other hand, face enormous difficulties and dangers in order to thrive in a competitive climate. For many organizations, digital marketing for small businesses is unfamiliar territory, and because technology is continuously improving, previous techniques must be updated to fit the current market. As a result, medium-sized businesses confront numerous obstacles when it comes to online marketing. This study therefore, investigated the effects of search engine marketing on performance of top 100 medium sized companies in Nairobi City, Kenya. Descriptive research design was employed. The population consisted of marketing managers of these medium size enterprises within Nairobi City County, Kenya as observed by an annual survey done by KPMG together with the nation media group year 2020. The respondents were sampled using stratified method on the basis of the company category. The respondents were purposively selected. The collection of data was done using questionnaires that was in a structured form. Content validity was used since it has the capability of measuring the level at which a collection of a number of items is representative of what the instrument is intended to achieve. The study assessed the instruments reliability using Cronbach's alpha coefficient. Analysis of the qualitative data was done using content analysis method. Analyses of quantitative was done descriptively by using mean and standard deviation. The determination of the level at which variables link to one another was achieved through inferential analysis involving correlation and regression analysis. Search engine marketing, was found to have a significant effect on the performance of Kenya’s top 100 medium-sized companies. The study concluded that search engine marketing captures the audience's attention at the right time, which means the organization gets content and advertisements in front of a very interested target audience that is actively looking for comparable deals, all for a low cost and without having to impose on them. The study recommended that the organizations should publish relevant, authoritative content because more people visit sites with high-quality content that is tailored to their needs, which raises the authority and relevance of the organization's website.

Abstract: In parallel with other initiatives for reaching zero carbon emissions, the potential of blue hydrogen to decarbonize heavy industries has seen its star rise fast. A global transformation of energy sectors is underway. To support a future where all our energy comes from clean sources, the world needs clean, flexible, storable and safe fuels. Recently, some topics have been as prominent in energy discussions as the importance of hydrogen in future energy systems. Hydrogen has all the characteristics indicated as a fuel for this world. When hydrogen is used as a fuel, it produces no carbon emissions, only water. It can safely be used in a broad range of applications. The more hype is generated around it, the higher the expectations have grown. Across developed and developing nations alike, the race to produce carbon free hydrogen is on. And the KSA is right in the mix.

Abstract: Teamwork would be needed to succeed competitively in the global open economy. For the corporate world, the use of a team-based system is no longer simply a waste resource for increasing the business quality of service. The use of successful teams has proven critical in today's developing economies to sustain businesses’ long-term stability and growth. Centred on the duplication of human resources, it has been not easy for corporate to distinguish themselves from the competition. And businesses must have perseverance and resilience in a world of continuous transition, to keep up with team growth. It isn't so hard to run a team, but it is a struggle to make a team successful. If teams do not gain efficiency, it can be time-consuming, but teams may yield previously elusive outcomes if they become efficient. The research involves a review of applicable literature. This research involves interviews with corporate in Erbil, Kurdistan, on which factors successful teams produce. The findings derived from these interviews were transcribed and analysed against the key research and the variations between them.

Abstract: The social challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic in the well-being of hotel employees in Cavite are the focus of this research. The purpose of this research is to determine the social impacts of COVID-19 on hotel employees' well-being and how that influences their work performance. This research also investigated whether there is a substantial difference in demographics, age, educational attainment, department, or rank/position. A research questionnaire used a 3-point Likert scale to ask hotel employees about the social challenges of Covid-19 in their well-being. The findings revealed the primary sources of social problems faced by these employees during the pandemic. All 15 factors were affecting employees' workplace pressures and performance, but among the factors, with a mean of 2.467, salary being provided by the company which equates to the job performed and promotes job security has the highest mean. The survey also revealed that respondents had been impacted by the pandemic, and the researchers were able to pinpoint the sources of their social difficulties.

Abstract: Communication technology that is developing rapidly at this time presents an increasingly varied variety of communication so that today's communication knows no boundaries, distance, space and time. This is also caused by the development of the use of the internet continues to grow which is used as a lifestyle for people to meet their needs. One of the needs that massively use the internet is the activity of buying or shopping for goods or services online, electronic commerce, which is also called e-commerce is the use of communication networks and computers to carry out business processes. This study aims to determine whether the use of Social Media Marketing, Product Review and Brand Activation can influence consumer purchasing decisions on the Shopee Platform. The population in this study is the community in Denpasar City with the determination of the sample using purposive sampling. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression data analysis techniques. The findings of this study are Social Media Marketing, Product Review and Brand Activation have a positive and significant impact on consumer purchasing decisions on the Shopee platform.

Abstract: Since it was recognized as one of the main forces behind inclusive economic growth and development, the idea of financial inclusion has continued to gain traction on a global scale. One of the goals of the cashless policy that the Central Bank of Nigeria implemented in Nigeria in 2011 was financial inclusion. In light of this, the study aims to investigate the connection between Nigerian financial inclusion and electronic banking. The amount of transactions made in Nigeria on ATMs, point-of-sale systems, web-enabled applications, and mobile devices served as proxies for electronic banking in the study, and the ratio of the adult population with bank accounts to the total adult population in Nigeria served as a proxy for financial inclusion. The study used computer-based multiple regression analysis with the E-Views 9 program, adopting correlational and ex-post facto research approaches. It was discovered that while the volume of transactions made through point-of-sale and mobile devices is strongly correlated with financial inclusion, those made through automated teller machines and web-based channels do not. According to the study's findings, deposit money banks should eliminate the obstacles to using their ATMs, educate customers more about the advantages of web-based channels, strive to adhere to international best practices, work to lower data costs, increase internet penetration, and lessen hacker activity. Additionally, more point-of-sale systems should be made available and simple for customers to access.

Abstract: The creation of the IATF Protocols was made to aid the employees and employers with rules, regulations, and safety protocols that were imposed once the business is operating during this pandemic. One of the main reasons why the IATF Protocols were implemented is to become a guideline for the employees that will still be working during the pandemic. Jollibee Corporation is one of the largest fast-food chains in the Philippines, and it is also one of the largest firms that have health workers who work 24/7 onsite. To learn more about the employees' understanding of the implemented IATF protocols, the researchers conducted a study to determine the effects of the IATF protocols on the job performance of an employee. The results show that the demographic profile of the majority of the respondents under the age of 25 and those who graduated from senior high school and above understand the protocols and follow them thoroughly. Imposing mandatory training and health programs such as mandatory vaccinations, basic health practices in schools and workplaces, and management awareness are some of the recommended advocacies that the researchers want to establish using the study.

Abstract: The research paper utilized customer evaluation and feedback, particularly those found on TripAdvisor, the research discusses the satisfaction of prior quarantine guests of Conrad Hotel Manila. Researchers gathered the information for the study to determine the service quality that satisfied and dissatisfied the guests during their quarantine stay. The research gathered reviews from 2020–2021 in order to analyze and evaluate the following service quality variables including Tangibles, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Empathy. To determine the distributions of each review to the service quality variable, the researchers applied narrative analysis to narrate the reviews under each variable, while quantitative research is used to count the total number of reviews under each service quality. The results of the quantitative analysis show that the service quality attribute that satisfied the guests is the reliability variable for the reason that a significant number of previous quarantine guests indicated that Conrad hotel has well-trained staff and excellent food, this was a total of 84 out of 315 positive statements. On the other hand, the majority of the negative reviews are related to the tangible variable with a total of 7 out of 20 negative statements that dissatisfied the guests during their quarantine period.

Abstract: Until now, cost orientation is considered a strategy oriented to the interests of producers and does not pay attention to the interests of consumers. In its implementation, the cost-based strategy is flexible, that is, between satisfying producers' expectations of higher than normal profits and consumers' expectations of obtaining a cheap purchase price, so that it can be found. a trade-off between the interests of producers and the interests of consumers. To find the trade-off, a survey of entrepreneurs in the tofu Agroindustry under study was conducted in Mataram City and East Lombok Regency with forty sampling units each, so that there were eighty business units as samples. The result is the acquisition of a constant value of the relationship between production costs and raw material costs, minimizing the contribution margin.

Abstract: The Triple Constraint is a model that incorporates cost, time and scope as determinants of the quality of the output realized. All over the world, project managers have appreciated the role of the Iron Triangle as a model for analyzing and their projects. Project management triple constraint has proved to be a handy tool. One Acre Fund is an organization that is based in Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi and Uganda with the aim of loaning farmers farm inputs and training them on the right crops to plant at given seasons, proper agronomic practices, altitudes and soil health. Among the crops planted include: maize, beans, sorghum, rice, soy beans onions, kales, other horticultural crops and trees seedlings among others. For One Acre Fund farmers to manage its projects well, they should consider applying Iron/project Triangle in order to ensure high maize adoption over other crops and high maize crop production is not only successful to the organization but the harvests also meet the needs of the farmers as well. The study aimed at examining the effects of the project management triple constraints on maize production among One Acre Fund farmers in Kakamega County. Specifically, the study was to:  investigate the effect of project quality; assess the effect of project cost; determine the effect of project time; and evaluate the effect of project scope on maize production among One Acre Fund farmers in Kakamega County. the study was underpinned by the: Models of Project Management Triple Constraints; Theory of PM Triangle quality and the Theory of Equitable Relationship. Descriptive survey design was adopted and the targeted population was One Acre Fund farmers in Kakamega county totaling to 50,670. A sample of 100 farmers was used. The study also found that 32.4% of variation in maize production among OAF farmers in Kakamega County was explained by project quality and also11.7% of variation of maize production among One Acre Fund farmers in Kakamega County was explained by project cost.

Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to study how to apply project-based learning method to teaching project management course. First, we introduce the course contents and give the check list for setting the course frame. Then, we report the procedures of applying project-based learning method and summarize the tools for teaching the course. In contrast with the traditional way of teaching, project-based learning method can promote student-centered and experiential approaches to education through the interactive, collaborative exploration of real-word challenges.

Abstract: Changes are inevitable in projects. A systematic approach is needed to control changes and minimize their negative impact on the performance of the project. To achieve this, this paper intends to examine the importance of properly managed change control. It first identifies the aim and objectives of the dissertation. Then, it describes the research strategy that will be used to conduct the study. Finally, it provides a brief literature review on the topic to indicate of the problem and provide a start point for research. It has been shown that lack of change management can cause cost overruns and schedule delays; therefore, change management systems were proposed to anticipate potential changes, identify preventive measures and implement corrective actions.

Abstract: COVID-19 pandemic forced the Education Industry to suspend face-to-face classes and opt for alternative teaching modalities to prevent the spread of the virus. On account of this, students were forced to study and attend classes virtually from their homes. However, some courses in tertiary education like Hospitality Management—a skill-based course—require frequent laboratory works. The sudden switch of learning modality poses a huge challenge for the students and their opportunity to acquire and improve their skill competencies. Therefore, the researchers intend to evaluate the effectiveness of using the New Teaching Modalities in conducting Hospitality Management laboratory courses as a basis for acquiring skill competencies based on the students’ experience. This study was conducted using a quantitative design and the sample was taken using a Purposive sampling method. The 4th and 3rd-year students of Hospitality Management from De La Salle University-Dasmarinas are the respondents. A total of 91 respondents responded to the online survey that was distributed by the researchers through Facebook Messenger’s private messaging and group chats. The Teaching Modalities—Online, Blended, and Face-to-Face—were evaluated by the students for the researchers to find out which among the three is the most effective. At the end of this study, results revealed that Face-to-Face is the most effective Teaching Modality in conducting HM laboratory courses as a basis for acquiring skill competencies. Results showed that there is a significant difference between the Teaching Modalities in terms of the student’s experience with the (1) Learning Practices used in the HM Laboratory Courses for Each Type of Teaching Modality, (2) Student's Class Involvement and Effort in Each Type of Teaching Modality, and (3) Student's Improvement in Skill Competencies during Each Type of Teaching Modality.

Abstract: The ultimate aim of this study is to know how the café owners overcome the challenges they’ve been through when the pandemic hit the country and what marketing strategies they used, to rise up again while experiencing pandemic. With this study, we will know how they manage to continue with their businesses and what platforms they use to advertise or promote their café businesses that will be beneficial not just for the BSHM students but also to all the people that have their own café business. This study starts by knowing the effects of COVID-19 on café businesses and their restaurant marketing strategies and their demographic profile. Also, how this pandemic affects their strategy especially since people cannot go outside or cannot dine in due to health protocols set by the government. Lastly finalized the data by creating a survey questionnaire and generating a tabulation of all the data collected from the respondents. An online survey in the form of google forms was used for the methodology to gather data from 30 business owners who voluntarily take the survey. Results indicated that the majority of the business owners who had their café business affected by the pandemic are women and people in the range of 26 - 35 years old. A detailed critical analysis of the results is provided in the last chapter.
