Abstract: Working capital management is fundamental to the operational and financial stability of any enterprise. This study undertakes an analytical examination of working capital efficiency and cash flow sustainability at Royal Enfield (Eicher Motors Limited), a leading motorcycle manufacturer. Using five years of secondary financial data spanning 2020–21 to 2024–25, the research employs ratio analysis, trend analysis, and cash flow analysis to evaluate liquidity, solvency, asset utilisation, and profitability. Key findings reveal that the current ratio remained above 1:1 in all five years; net profit margins grew from 15.45% to 25.09%; operating cash flows surged from Rs. 423.96 crores to Rs. 3,979.92 crores; and the working capital trend recovered to 43.50% in 2024–25 after declining to 7.26% in 2022–23.

Abstract: Rwanda’s commitment to environmental sustainability is reflected in initiatives like the Green Gicumbi Project, which integrates afforestation, watershed restoration, and climate-smart agriculture under the Green Growth and Climate Resilience Strategy. This study examined how agile methodologies contribute to the success of environmental conservation projects, focusing on iterative project execution, stakeholder collaboration, and adaptability. Grounded in Complex Adaptive Systems Theory, Stakeholder Theory, and Lean Systems Theory, the research adopted a cross-sectional mixed-methods design. Data were collected from 123 respondents out of a target population of 178 using questionnaires and interviews. The instruments demonstrated high reliability (Cronbach’s α = 0.897), with validity confirmed through expert review. Quantitative data were analyzed using SPSS Version 30, while qualitative data were thematically analyzed.

The findings indicate that iterative project execution significantly improves project success (r = 0.705, p < 0.001; β = 0.134, p = 0.005) by enabling phased implementation, continuous feedback, and early risk identification. Stakeholder collaboration also showed a strong positive relationship with project success (r = 0.716, p < 0.001; β = 0.122, p = 0.002), highlighting the value of inclusive participation, transparent communication, and shared accountability. Notably, adaptability emerged as the most influential predictor of project success (r = 0.880, p < 0.001; β = 0.814, p < 0.001), demonstrating the importance of flexible resource allocation and the ability to respond to environmental and contextual uncertainties. The regression analysis revealed that agile practices collectively explain 77.9% of the variance in project success (R² = 0.779), indicating strong predictive power. Qualitative findings supported these results, showing that adaptive leadership, participatory decision-making, and iterative learning enhance innovation and resilience in project implementation. The study concludes that adaptability is the cornerstone of successful agile environmental management, reinforced by iterative execution and stakeholder collaboration. It recommends institutionalizing agile principles in conservation project frameworks, including the use of iterative cycles and tools such as sprints and Kanban boards. Additionally, policymakers and development partners should promote flexible planning, continuous learning, and collaborative engagement to improve responsiveness, ownership, and long-term sustainability of environmental projects in Rwanda and beyond.

Abstract: Workflow processes are the backbone of organisational efficiency, defining the sequence of tasks, responsibilities, and communication channels that enable smooth operations. This study examines employee perceptions of workflow processes at Lloyd Shoes India Pvt. Ltd., a footwear manufacturer based in Vellore, Tamil Nadu. Using a descriptive research design, primary data were collected from 106 employees at the Chennai district operations through a structured questionnaire, supplemented by secondary sources. The study employed percentage analysis, chi-square tests, and one-way ANOVA as analytical tools. Findings indicate that 55.7% of respondents rated working conditions as 'Good'; 61.3% described supervisor relationships as 'Moderate'; and 60.4% reported grievances were not resolved immediately. Chi-square tests confirmed significant associations between demographic variables (age, gender, education, income, place of living, family type, designation, experience) and satisfaction with the workflow system — with marital status being the sole exception. ANOVA revealed that age (p=0.011), gender (p=0.010), and type of family (p=0.000) significantly influence the level of workflow perception. The study concludes with practical recommendations for streamlining workflow processes, enhancing communication, and improving employee engagement.

Abstract: The work environment plays a vital role in influencing employee satisfaction, productivity, and overall organizational performance. The present study titled “A Study on Work Environmental Conditions of Employees at Padmash Leather and Exports Pvt. Ltd.” aims to examine the various factors affecting the working conditions of employees in a labor-intensive manufacturing organization. The study focuses on key dimensions such as physical work environment, workplace facilities, work conditions, health and safety measures, organizational support, and job satisfaction. A descriptive research design was adopted for the study, and primary data were collected through a structured questionnaire from 385 employees using a convenient sampling technique. Statistical tools such as percentage analysis, mean score analysis, and one-way ANOVA were employed to analyze the data and interpret the results.

The findings of the study reveal that employees are generally satisfied with the physical work environment and basic facilities provided by the organization. However, certain aspects such as workload, rest breaks, and communication require improvement. The ANOVA results indicate that there is a significant difference in employees’ perceptions of the work environment across different age groups. The study concludes that while the organization provides a reasonably satisfactory work environment, there is scope for enhancing employee welfare measures, improving communication, and adopting age-specific strategies to further increase employee satisfaction and productivity. The research offers valuable insights and practical suggestions for management to improve overall workplace conditions.

Abstract: The present study titled “An Analytical Study of Employee Motivation, Attrition, and Retention in Selected IT Companies in Chennai City” aims to examine the key factors influencing employee motivation, the causes of attrition, and the effectiveness of retention strategies in the IT sector. In today’s highly competitive business environment, managing human resources has become a critical challenge for organizations, particularly in the information technology industry, which experiences high employee turnover rates. The study is based on primary data collected from 385 employees working in selected IT companies in Chennai using a structured questionnaire. Statistical tools such as percentage analysis, mean score analysis, and rank analyses were employed to interpret the data. The findings reveal that employees exhibit a relatively high level of motivation, primarily driven by a supportive work environment, training opportunities, and interpersonal relationships. However, factors such as limited career growth, work stress, and better external opportunities significantly contribute to employee attrition. The study further highlights that retention is strongly influenced by flexible work arrangements, job security, and organizational culture. Despite the presence of retention strategies, there is a need for improvement in career advancement opportunities and reward systems. The research concludes that organizations must adopt a holistic approach by enhancing employee engagement, offering competitive compensation, and creating a positive work environment to reduce attrition and improve retention. This study provides valuable insights for HR managers and policymakers to design effective strategies for sustaining a motivated and stable workforce in the IT sector.

Abstract: This study aims to examine the various factors that influence employee performance enhancement at Lumina Datamatics. In today’s competitive business environment, employee performance plays a crucial role in determining organizational success. The study focuses on key organizational elements such as training and development, performance management practices, rewards and recognition, work environment, leadership support, communication, and job satisfaction. Primary data was collected from 150 employees through a structured questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale. The research follows a descriptive design to analyze how these factors contribute to improving employee performance. The findings of the study reveal that effective training programs, clear performance goals, regular feedback, and fair appraisal systems significantly impact employee productivity. Additionally, supportive leadership, a positive work environment, and proper work-life balance are found to enhance employee efficiency and motivation. The study highlights the importance of organizational support in fostering employee growth and sustaining high performance levels. Based on the findings, practical suggestions are provided to help organizations strengthen their performance enhancement strategies and improve overall employee effectiveness.

Abstract: The O2O business model is increasingly being adopted by companies, but the main focus of research on O2O adoption is still individual consumers. There is not much done on organizational adoption and the effect of adoption on customer satisfaction. The current study analyzes the factors influencing the adoption of O2O grocery shopping for Jio Mart in the Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities of Odisha and goes beyond the current knowledge of O2O adoption which is mostly individual-based. It analyses key factors influencing adoption and evaluates the impact of O2O service attributes on customer satisfaction. Primary data were collected through a structured questionnaire from Jio Mart users, and statistical techniques were used for analysis. The results indicate that perceived convenience, trust, price advantage, and information and service quality positively influence O2O adoption, while perceived risk acts as a barrier. Additionally, service attributes such as convenience, delivery reliability, product quality consistency, pricing, and customer support significantly affect customer satisfaction. The study offers practical insights for enhancing O2O grocery adoption and service effectiveness in semi-urban markets of India.

Abstract: Non-performing assets (NPAs) have been a constant challenge for Indian commercial banks. They hurt profitability, credit growth, and financial stability. Even with regulatory actions and reforms, the buildup of stressed assets continues to threaten the banking system, especially during economic downturns. Banks often use loan restructuring methods like moratoriums, delayed repayment schedules, and interest capitalization to handle stressed loans. However, these practices can lead to negative amortization, where the total loan amounts increase over time. While these measures give borrowers temporary relief, their long-term effects on asset quality and bank performance raise serious concerns.

This study aims to explore the link between negative amortization, NPA buildup, and bank profitability in Indian commercial banks. It uses a quantitative and empirical research design based on secondary data from the Reserve Bank of India, annual reports from selected banks, and financial databases. Bank-level panel data covering the period from 2016 to 2025 is examined using financial ratio analysis, descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and panel regression techniques. The findings show a positive connection between negative amortization indicators and NPAs. They also highlight a significant negative effect of NPAs on profitability measures such as return on assets, return on equity, and net interest margin. This study provides important insights for improving credit risk management and strengthening the stability of the banking sector.

Abstract: The emerging markets are typified by an increased environmental uncertainty because of regulatory uncertainty, technological uncertainty, institutional uncertainty and increased international competition. Under these conditions, the companies have to create high-order abilities that would facilitate constant renewal and strategic responsiveness. Based on the Dynamic Capabilities (DC) View, this paper conceptualizes dynamic capabilities as sensing, seizing, and transforming processes that help organizations to adapt strategically and achieve lasting performance. Though wide international literature exists, there is paucity of large-scale empirical data about Indian firms.

The research question is to test the effect of DC on strategic adaptation and the performance of firms in the Indian business environment. The proxy indicators of DC are calculated using secondary panel data and cross-sectional data on manufacturing and service companies between 2016 and 2024 based on the financial and strategic reporting of publicly traded companies. The content coding, exploratory factor analysis and the panel regression are applied to test the hypothesized relationships.

The results indicate that there is a strong confident relationship between DC, strategic adaptation and firm performance with the performance outcomes mediated partly by the adaptation concept. The research is valuable in that it suggests a context-specific framework of strategic adaptation to the new market conditions, providing theoretical expansion and practical recommendations to the policymakers and the management of India.

Abstract: Public procurement constitutes a significant part of Indian government spending while also serving as a vital element for managing public finances and fighting corruption. The Government of India has transformed public procurement processes through digital technologies which include eAuction-based eProcurement systems that operate through Government e-Marketplace (GeM) and Central Public Procurement Portal (CPPP) and various e-tendering systems used by different states. The study requires empirical evidence to assess how digital solutions have increased public sector organizations' transparency and operational efficiency.

The research paper employs a descriptive-analytical approach which uses secondary data from 2017 to 2025 to conduct research in selected Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). The study compares pre- and post-implementation results to evaluate transparency and competition and processing time and cost savings. The findings demonstrate significant advancements in transparency and competition and processing time and cost savings. The paper provides substantial evidence through quantitative research to demonstrate how eAuction-based procurement reforms have succeeded in India according to digital governance research.

Abstract: The paper industry in Tamil Nadu occupies a significant position in the state's industrial economy, with major enterprises contributing to employment, exports, and regional economic development. The COVID-19 pandemic introduced unprecedented disruptions affecting raw material supply chains, demand patterns, and the overall financial health of industrial enterprises. This study conceptually examines the long-term financial sustainability of selected paper industries in Tamil Nadu from a post-pandemic perspective. Grounded in descriptive and theoretical inquiry, the study draws on existing literature, published financial reports, and secondary data to explore the dimensions of financial sustainability, encompassing liquidity, profitability, solvency, and working capital efficiency. Theoretical frameworks including the Trade-off Theory, Pecking Order Theory, Resilience Theory, Stakeholder Theory, and the Resource-Based View are employed to provide conceptual depth. The study identifies key challenges confronted by the industry in the post-pandemic recovery phase and articulates five theoretical propositions for long-term financial sustainability. The findings are expected to serve as a conceptual foundation for future empirical research and offer practical insights for industry practitioners and policymakers concerned with the long-term industrial viability of Tamil Nadu’s manufacturing sector.

Abstract: This study conducts an analytical and comparative evaluation of mutual fund commission structures across 12 selected Asset Management Companies (AMCs) and 7 distribution platforms, with emphasis on AssetPlus (ValuePlus Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Chennai) and its competitors. Using 245 data points over the study, it applies descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, linear regression, and one-way ANOVA. AUM emerges as the strongest determinant of commission earnings (r = 0.984, R² = 0.973), while net inflows show a negative and inconsistent impact (β = −0.00651, p = .002). Significant variation in commission-to-AUM ratios across AMCs (F = 5.31, p < .001) confirms non-uniform payout structures. NJ India dominates commission earnings among distributors. The study concludes that commission frameworks are AUM-centric and recommends transparent, performance-linked models.

Abstract: This study investigates the investment behaviour and decision-making patterns of women employees in Madurai District by integrating both theoretical perspectives and empirical analysis. In recent years, the growing financial independence of women has led to increased participation in investment activities, making it essential to understand the factors influencing their financial decisions. The research focuses on key determinants such as demographic characteristics, financial literacy, income levels, risk perception, and personal financial goals.The study is based on primary data collected from 150 respondents using a structured questionnaire. Statistical tools including percentage analysis, correlation and regression techniques were applied to analyse the data and identify relationships between variables. The findings reveal that women employees predominantly prefer low-risk investment options such as bank deposits and gold, reflecting a strong inclination toward safety and stability. However, there is a noticeable shift among younger and more financially aware respondents towards diversified investment avenues such as mutual funds and insurance products.The results further indicate that income level and financial literacy significantly influence investment decisions, with higher-income individuals demonstrating greater diversification in their investment portfolios. Risk perception also plays a critical role, as many respondents exhibit cautious behaviour due to uncertainty and lack of confidence in high-risk investments. The study highlights the importance of financial education and awareness programs in empowering women to make informed investment choices.Overall, the research provides valuable insights for financial institutions, policymakers, and educators to design strategies that promote financial inclusion and improve investment participation among women employees.

Abstract: Effective management of accounts receivable plays a vital role in sustaining the liquidity and financial stability of any business organization. When credit sales are collected promptly, it directly strengthens working capital and supports smoother day-to-day operations. The present study evaluates the efficiency of accounts receivable management with specific reference to Zoho Corporation Private Limited. Using secondary data drawn from the company’s published financial statements for the five-year period from 2020–21 to 2024–25, the research analyses key performance indicators such as the Debtors Turnover Ratio and Average Collection Period. In addition, correlation analysis was performed to determine the strength of the relationship between receivable management practices and the firm’s profitability indicators. The findings reveal that prudent management of receivables has a positive and significant influence on both liquidity and overall profitability.

Abstract: This study assessed the Influence of Utility Relocation on Implementation of Mulindi-Gasogi-Rusororo-Kabuga Road Project in Rwanda, despite the country’s notable progress in infrastructure development aligned with Vision 2050 and the National Transport Policy. It focused on key challenges including land acquisition, utility relocation, community resistance, and resource constraints. Guided by Implementation Theory in Complex Projects and Resource Constraints Theory, the study adopted a cross-sectional case study design using mixed methods. Data were collected from 100 respondents (selected from 133 using Slovin’s formula) through questionnaires, interviews, and document review. Reliability testing through a pilot study (10 participants) produced Cronbach’s alpha values above 0.7, confirming internal consistency. Quantitative data were analyzed using IBM SPSS Version 30 and MS Excel 2016, while qualitative data were analyzed thematically. Descriptive findings indicated strong agreement that land acquisition challenges negatively affect project implementation, with mean scores ranging from 4.32 to 4.68 and standard deviations between 0.45 and 0.73. Correlation analysis revealed strong, positive, and statistically significant relationships between project implementation and utility relocation (r = 0.542, p < 0.001), community resistance (r = 0.508, p < 0.001), and resource constraints (r = 0.601, p < 0.001).Regression analysis showed that all variables significantly influenced project implementation, with resource constraints having the strongest effect (β = 0.421, p = 0.016), followed by utility relocation (β = 0.394, p = 0.021) and community resistance (β = 0.372, p = 0.028). The overall regression model was statistically significant (F = 21.934, p < 0.001) and explained 41.7% of the variation in project implementation (R² = 0.417). The study concluded that delays and inefficiencies were mainly due to poor coordination among utility agencies, compensation disputes, and limited financial and human resources. It recommended early coordination with utility providers, transparent and timely compensation, community sensitization, adequate budget allocation, capacity building for valuation teams, and strengthened monitoring systems to enhance effective implementation of road construction projects in Rwanda.
