Abstract: In the era of digital transformation, businesses are increasingly relying on data-driven approaches to enhance the quality and effectiveness of decision-making. The rapid growth of data generated from various sources such as transactions, social media, and organizational systems has created a need for advanced analytical tools. In this context, data mining techniques have emerged as powerful tools for extracting meaningful patterns, relationships, and trends from large datasets. This study examines the impact of data mining techniques on business decision-making, highlighting how these techniques support strategic, tactical, and operational decisions across different business functions.

The study explores key data mining techniques such as classification, clustering, association rule mining, regression, and anomaly detection, and their applications in areas including marketing, finance, human resource management, and supply chain operations. These techniques enable organizations to gain deeper insights into customer behavior, predict future trends, identify risks, and improve operational efficiency. The integration of data mining with technologies such as machine learning, artificial intelligence, and big data analytics further enhances the accuracy and speed of decision-making processes.

The findings suggest that data mining significantly improves decision quality by reducing uncertainty, enabling predictive analysis, and supporting evidence-based management practices. It also helps organizations achieve competitive advantage by facilitating personalized customer engagement and efficient resource utilization. Abstract: This study examines operational delays and bottleneck analysis in import-export freight operations at Logisteed India Pvt. Ltd. In today’s competitive logistics environment, identifying delays and eliminating bottlenecks is essential for improving operational efficiency and reducing turnaround time. The research aims to analyse existing freight processes, identify key delay factors, and determine the major bottlenecks affecting workflow performance.

The study adopts a descriptive research design using both primary and secondary data. Primary data was collected from 200 respondents across various departments through structured questionnaires and direct interaction. Statistical tools such as percentage analysis, Chi-square test, and graphical representation were applied for analysis.

The findings reveal that documentation errors, delays in customer document submission, customs clearance procedures, and port congestion are the major causes of operational delays. Internal issues such as manpower shortages, communication gaps, and system inefficiencies further contribute to bottlenecks in the logistics process.

The study concludes that identifying and addressing bottlenecks through process improvement, digitalisation, standardisation of documentation, and enhanced coordination can significantly reduce delays and improve overall operational efficiency.

Abstract: Logistics plays a crucial role in modern business by ensuring the efficient movement of goods from the point of origin to the point of consumption (Ivanov, 2020). This study analyzes the key challenges in logistics operations and their impact on service delivery at Worldwide Logistics (India) Pvt. Ltd. Chennai. The research focuses on issues such as delays, coordination gaps, manpower shortages, communication barriers, and reliance on manual processes. Primary data was collected from 144 employees using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using percentage, mean score, and chi-square techniques. The findings reveal that operational challenges, particularly delays and coordination issues, significantly affect service delivery performance, while manual processes and communication gaps lead to inefficiencies. The study suggests that improving coordination, adopting digital technologies, enhancing manpower planning, and strengthening communication systems can improve logistics efficiency and overall customer satisfaction.

Abstract: Employee attrition represents one of the most persistent and costly challenges confronting the global hospitality industry, where service delivery quality is inseparably linked to workforce stability and employee commitment. This study empirically examines the determinants of workforce turnover and evaluates the effectiveness of existing retention practices at Holiday Inn Chennai OMR IT Expressway, an InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) brand property. Adopting a descriptive research design, primary data were gathered from 100 employees across multiple operational departments through a structured questionnaire. Statistical analysis encompassed percentage analysis, Chi-Square testing, and Karl Pearson's Correlation. The findings establish that poor work-life balance (70% rated it Poor or Very Poor), inadequate recognition (70% experience it rarely or never), and limited career advancement opportunities are the predominant attrition drivers, with 70% of respondents having actively considered resignation. Chi-Square analysis confirms a statistically significant association between retention preferences and strategy review frequency (chi-squared = 73.63, df = 16, p = 0.010). Correlation analysis reveals a moderate-to-strong positive relationship between training adequacy and work-life balance satisfaction (r = 0.632, p < 0.01). The study concludes that an employee-centric human resource strategy— incorporating flexible scheduling, structured recognition, career development pathways, and periodic strategy reviews — is essential for reducing attrition and sustaining competitiveness in the hospitality sector.

Abstract: The rapid growth of digital payment systems has transformed the financial landscape by generating vast amounts of transactional data. This study, titled “A Study on Enhancing Optimization through Digital Payment Analytics and Data-Driven Approaches,” aims to examine how data analytics can be effectively utilized to improve operational efficiency, decision-making, and overall performance in the financial sector. The research focuses on widely used digital payment platforms such as UPI (Unified Payments Interface), mobile wallets, and internet banking systems.

The study adopts a descriptive and analytical research design, using primary data collected through structured questionnaires from a sample of 385 respondents. Secondary data is gathered from journals, reports, and publications of institutions such as the National Payments Corporation of India. Statistical tools including percentage analysis, mean, chi-square test, and regression analysis are applied to evaluate the relationship between digital payment analytics and optimization outcomes.

The findings reveal that increased adoption of digital payment systems and awareness of data analytics significantly contribute to enhanced operational efficiency, improved customer experience, and better decision-making processes. However, challenges such as data privacy concerns, security risks, and lack of technical expertise remain critical barriers.

The study concludes that the integration of data-driven approaches in digital payment systems plays a vital role in achieving optimization and sustainable growth. It also provides recommendations for financial institutions to strengthen analytics capabilities and ensure secure and efficient digital transactions.

Abstract: Kurukshetra, the battlefield of the Mahabharata and the site of the revelation of the Bhagavad Gita, represents one of India’s most significant spiritual heritage landscapes. Previous pilgrimage tourism studies have largely focused on sustainability, infrastructure development, and visitor satisfaction, while pilgrimage destinations as structured spiritual learning environments for peace-building outcomes have received limited empirical attention. Addressing this gap, the present study conceptualises Kurukshetra as a spiritual learning space and examines the application of Bhagavad Gita based ethical values Swadharma (righteous duty), Nishkama Karma (selfless action), compassion, and inner balance within the pilgrimage tourism experience. The study employed a quantitative cross-sectional research design and collected data from 1,000 pilgrims and visitors at major pilgrimage sites in Kurukshetra. Independent samples t-test, one-way ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis were used for data analysis. The findings reveal statistically significant differences in spiritual learning and peace perception across visitor categories and demonstrate that Gita-based ethical values exert a strong and positive influence on peace-building perception. The study contributes to heritage and pilgrimage tourism literature by positioning pilgrimage destinations as informal spiritual learning spaces capable of fostering ethical reflection, social harmony, and sustainable peace.

Abstract: Customer behaviour is really important for the growth of businesses especially in the competitive textile and garment industry. This study looks at the things that influence customer purchasing decisions and satisfaction levels at Sri Lakshmi Textiles & Readymades. To understand customer behaviour we need to look at what customers like about products, prices and the store environment. When customers are happy they come back. Buy from us again which helps our business grow. We asked 93 customers about their opinions. We used special tools to analyze their answers. The results show that customers really like it when we have a lot of products to choose from and they also like it when our staff is helpful. However the atmosphere in our store is something we need to work on. The study says that we need to make our store look nicer and come up with marketing plans to keep growing in the local market.

Abstract: The research on workplace well-being and smart hiring focuses on understanding how emotional intelligence, HR practices, and organizational culture influence the quality of work life and talent acquisition efficiency. The study relates to the growing need for organizations to create a supportive work environment and to improve hiring strategies in a competitive business landscape. Many of the organizations lack in effective integration of emotional intelligence and structured HR practices, which may affect employee satisfaction, productivity, and hiring outcomes. Employees often experience low quality of work life because of poor organizational culture and lack of emotional support, which in turn impacts retention and performance. Similarly, ineffective hiring strategies and lack of alignment with organizational values reduce the efficiency in talent acquisition. Weak HR practices and absence of emotionally intelligent leadership act as a barrier to both employee well-being and organizational growth. The objective of the study is to analyze the impact of emotional intelligence, HR practices, and organizational culture on quality of work life and talent acquisition efficiency. The sample size of the study is 200. Descriptive research design and convenience sampling method have been used. A structured questionnaire has been used as the primary data collection tool. Simple percentage analysis and ANOVA test have been applied to interpret the data for meaningful findings. The study finds the relationship between emotional intelligence, HR practices, organizational culture, and the quality of work life and hiring efficiency. It is been suggested that organizations should adopt emotionally intelligent leadership, strengthen HR policies, and build a positive work culture through employee engagement programs, training, and digital HR initiatives. It also conclude that emotional intelligence, effective HR practices, and a supportive organizational culture plays a major and important role in enhancing employee well-being and improving the talent acquisition efficiency. The study highlights that organizations focus on these factors so that they would achieve better employee satisfaction, higher retention, and more effective hiring outcomes, that leads to sustainable organizational success.

Abstract: In recent years, hybrid work has become a widely used practice in the IT industry, transforming the way organizations manage their workforce. In such flexible work environments, HR practices play a crucial role in sustaining employee commitment. This study aims to examine the impact of HR practices on employee commitment in hybrid work environments. A quantitative research approach was used, and primary data were collected from 150 IT employees using a structured questionnaire. Secondary data were obtained from various journals, research articles, and other relevant academic sources to support the theoretical framework of the study. The data were analyzed using Microsoft Excel with the help of statistical tools such as percentage analysis and correlation analysis. The findings reveal that HR practices, including training, flexibility, performance appraisal, and communication, have a positive influence on employee commitment. The study concludes that effective HR strategies are essential for enhancing employee commitment in hybrid work models.

Abstract: This study examines the impact of demographic variables such as gender, age, and occupation on consumer preferences agriculture commodities across categories including skin cleansing, hair care, skin care, oral care, deodorant, and health and wellbeing. Using a combination of descriptive statistics and regression analysis, the research identifies significant patterns in brand usage and preferences. Key findings reveal that males and older individuals exhibit higher engagement with specific brands, while professional occupations show a notable influence on product choices. The analysis also highlights the strong correlation between brand awareness and consumer behavior. Based on these insights, targeted marketing strategies are recommended to enhance engagement and optimize product offerings in the Ramanathapuram district. This research provides actionable recommendations for companies to tailor their approaches to better meet the needs of their diverse consumer base.

Abstract: Working capital management is fundamental to the operational and financial stability of any enterprise. This study undertakes an analytical examination of working capital efficiency and cash flow sustainability at Royal Enfield (Eicher Motors Limited), a leading motorcycle manufacturer. Using five years of secondary financial data spanning 2020–21 to 2024–25, the research employs ratio analysis, trend analysis, and cash flow analysis to evaluate liquidity, solvency, asset utilisation, and profitability. Key findings reveal that the current ratio remained above 1:1 in all five years; net profit margins grew from 15.45% to 25.09%; operating cash flows surged from Rs. 423.96 crores to Rs. 3,979.92 crores; and the working capital trend recovered to 43.50% in 2024–25 after declining to 7.26% in 2022–23.

Abstract: Rwanda’s commitment to environmental sustainability is reflected in initiatives like the Green Gicumbi Project, which integrates afforestation, watershed restoration, and climate-smart agriculture under the Green Growth and Climate Resilience Strategy. This study examined how agile methodologies contribute to the success of environmental conservation projects, focusing on iterative project execution, stakeholder collaboration, and adaptability. Grounded in Complex Adaptive Systems Theory, Stakeholder Theory, and Lean Systems Theory, the research adopted a cross-sectional mixed-methods design. Data were collected from 123 respondents out of a target population of 178 using questionnaires and interviews. The instruments demonstrated high reliability (Cronbach’s α = 0.897), with validity confirmed through expert review. Quantitative data were analyzed using SPSS Version 30, while qualitative data were thematically analyzed.

The findings indicate that iterative project execution significantly improves project success (r = 0.705, p < 0.001; β = 0.134, p = 0.005) by enabling phased implementation, continuous feedback, and early risk identification. Stakeholder collaboration also showed a strong positive relationship with project success (r = 0.716, p < 0.001; β = 0.122, p = 0.002), highlighting the value of inclusive participation, transparent communication, and shared accountability. Notably, adaptability emerged as the most influential predictor of project success (r = 0.880, p < 0.001; β = 0.814, p < 0.001), demonstrating the importance of flexible resource allocation and the ability to respond to environmental and contextual uncertainties. The regression analysis revealed that agile practices collectively explain 77.9% of the variance in project success (R² = 0.779), indicating strong predictive power. Qualitative findings supported these results, showing that adaptive leadership, participatory decision-making, and iterative learning enhance innovation and resilience in project implementation. The study concludes that adaptability is the cornerstone of successful agile environmental management, reinforced by iterative execution and stakeholder collaboration. It recommends institutionalizing agile principles in conservation project frameworks, including the use of iterative cycles and tools such as sprints and Kanban boards. Additionally, policymakers and development partners should promote flexible planning, continuous learning, and collaborative engagement to improve responsiveness, ownership, and long-term sustainability of environmental projects in Rwanda and beyond.

Abstract: Workflow processes are the backbone of organisational efficiency, defining the sequence of tasks, responsibilities, and communication channels that enable smooth operations. This study examines employee perceptions of workflow processes at Lloyd Shoes India Pvt. Ltd., a footwear manufacturer based in Vellore, Tamil Nadu. Using a descriptive research design, primary data were collected from 106 employees at the Chennai district operations through a structured questionnaire, supplemented by secondary sources. The study employed percentage analysis, chi-square tests, and one-way ANOVA as analytical tools. Findings indicate that 55.7% of respondents rated working conditions as 'Good'; 61.3% described supervisor relationships as 'Moderate'; and 60.4% reported grievances were not resolved immediately. Chi-square tests confirmed significant associations between demographic variables (age, gender, education, income, place of living, family type, designation, experience) and satisfaction with the workflow system — with marital status being the sole exception. ANOVA revealed that age (p=0.011), gender (p=0.010), and type of family (p=0.000) significantly influence the level of workflow perception. The study concludes with practical recommendations for streamlining workflow processes, enhancing communication, and improving employee engagement.

Abstract: The work environment plays a vital role in influencing employee satisfaction, productivity, and overall organizational performance. The present study titled “A Study on Work Environmental Conditions of Employees at Padmash Leather and Exports Pvt. Ltd.” aims to examine the various factors affecting the working conditions of employees in a labor-intensive manufacturing organization. The study focuses on key dimensions such as physical work environment, workplace facilities, work conditions, health and safety measures, organizational support, and job satisfaction. A descriptive research design was adopted for the study, and primary data were collected through a structured questionnaire from 385 employees using a convenient sampling technique. Statistical tools such as percentage analysis, mean score analysis, and one-way ANOVA were employed to analyze the data and interpret the results.

The findings of the study reveal that employees are generally satisfied with the physical work environment and basic facilities provided by the organization. However, certain aspects such as workload, rest breaks, and communication require improvement. The ANOVA results indicate that there is a significant difference in employees’ perceptions of the work environment across different age groups. The study concludes that while the organization provides a reasonably satisfactory work environment, there is scope for enhancing employee welfare measures, improving communication, and adopting age-specific strategies to further increase employee satisfaction and productivity. The research offers valuable insights and practical suggestions for management to improve overall workplace conditions.
