Abstract: The insurance industry facilitates the growth and development of the economy. The life insurance helps to have a proper coverage on risk towards life of the insured. The creation of awareness regarding the policies, plans and facilities enables a huge growth in the insurance sector. The main objective of the research is to determine the demographic profile of sample respondents and analyse the factors influencing buying of life insurance policies. This study supports to understand various drives that make the policyholders to buy life insurance policies. Primary data have been taken and adopted convenience sampling method as sampling design. The statistical tools used for analysis was percentage analysis and t-test. The conclusion is that the new products and services are to be well informed to the consumers for better prospects of the life insurance company.

Abstract: Purpose: This research aims to explore the role of Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) practices on environmental sustainability in ISO 14001-certified IT firms in Tamil Nadu, India. The study emphasizes how green practices like eco-friendly hiring, green training, carbon footprint minimization, e-waste handling, and cloud computing influence employee commitment, performance management, and environmental stewardship, eventually leading to sustainable organizational performance.

Methodology: Quantitative cross-sectional survey design was employed, and 120 IT professionals were chosen by applying stratified random sampling. Data were gathered by employing structured questionnaires and responses were measured by a 4-point Likert scale. Collected data were analyzed by applying Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) in order to examine the relationships between GHRM practices, employee-level mediators and environmental sustainability.

Findings: The findings substantiated that GHRM practices significantly have a positive effect on employee commitment (β = 0.42), performance management (β = 0.35), and e-waste management (β = 0.39), all at p < 0.001. Workers were discovered to view GHRM practices as effective in fostering sustainability, where there was a great consensus regarding cloud computing benefits, green recruitment, and motivation. Research highlights that embedding green values into HR policies has the ability to engender an environmental responsibility culture, improve operational efficiency, and boost organizational reputation within the IT sector.

Abstract: The objective of the study was to analyze the effect of mortgage financing on the development of residential housing in Tanzania. The study employed different estimation techniques in analyzing the empirical relationship between housing financing and development of residential souses in Tanzania. Data was analyzed using the unit root test, descriptive statistics and Ordinary Least Square (OLS) for estimating the variables while the Augmented Dickey-Fuller (ADF) test was used to ascertain stationarity of the variables.  

The findings show that there is a strong relationship between mortgage financing and development of residential houses in Tanzania and that the development of affordable housing stock in Tanzania is highly influenced by mortgage loans offered and interest rates charged over the loans. It was also found that Tanzania still suffers from a shortage of good quality and affordable housing. The current housing deficit is estimated at three million housing units valued at US$180 billion coupled with a 200,000 units annual demand with a projected combined cost of US$12 billion although the number of housing stock have been increasing over the years. It is recommended that in order to increase residential housing in Tanzania there should be an increase in the amount of funds allocated to finance residential housing developments with low borrowing interest rates. The higher the costs the lower the demand for mortgage finances by the community hence poor residential housing.

Abstract: This study examines the factors influencing towards Value Added Services (VAS) in the telecom industry with special reference to Sivagangai District. It focuses on understanding the level of awareness, usage patterns, and preferences of consumers regarding various VAS such as caller tunes, mobile internet services, and entertainment services. The study also analyzes the factors influencing consumer decisions, including cost, convenience, and service quality. Data is collected from telecom users using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using statistical tools. The Findings of the study shows that Cost and affordability along with promotional offers are the most influential factors affecting consumer buying behaviour towards value-added services in the telecom industry. In contrast, service quality and brand image have comparatively lesser influence on consumer decisions.

Abstract: The current research does the financial analysis of the chosen banks in the private sector within India based on CAMEL measures within a decade of time, i.e. between 2015-16 and 2023-24. It is an assessment of five large private banks, which include HDFC Bank, ICICI bank, Axis bank, Kotak Mahindra bank and indusind bank. The secondary data were collected in the form of annual report and publication of the reserve bank of India. Ratio analysis has been used within the CAMEL framework of analysis, analysis of descriptive statistics, trends analysis, ranking methodology, the one way ANOVA and panel regression techniques. The results indicate that there is a high interbank variance in financial performance at the study period. The capital adequacy and the quality of the assets come out as key factors of financial stability and the earnings quality plays a key role in the indicators of profitability like Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE). The results of panel regression show that Net Non-Performing Assets have a negative impact on the profitability, whereas Net Interest Margin and capital strength have a positive impact on the financial performance. The Hausman test can be concluded by Fixed Effects model which proves that bank-specific attributes produce substantial effects on profitability. In general, the research report provides a conclusion that banks of the private-sector that have stronger capital ratios, efficient management of credit risk, and reliable earnings performance are more financially stable and healthier, especially in times of economic stress like the NPA crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic. The results are significant to policymakers, regulators, and banking institutions to enhance the risk management approach and a sustainable expansion within the Indian banking industry of the private sector.

Abstract: The fast growth of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in e-commerce has transformed the way consumer behaviour is analysed by retailers and created new challenges to develop effective promotional strategy. This study investigates consumer preference of AI based recommendation while shopping through online of electronic goods by surveying 284 consumers. The analysis finds that younger consumers prefer strongly AI-driven recommendations while shopping, however perceived risk associated with online shopping does not decrease with use of AI. Further, an examination of consumer reviews collected from the Amazon platform during the Deepavali festival for iPhone. The findings reveal that consumer reviews are predominantly on price sensitivity, quality of service, delivery experience, and prestige of brand. These insights help online retailers to design customized promotional strategy to enhance purchase intention of consumers. Overall, the study contributes to present literature on online shopping by offering a novel approach to develop technique of promotions.

Abstract: Digital payment systems have grown rapidly and are changing the way people manage financial transactions. Among early users of such technologies, IT employees play a major role because they are comfortable with digital platforms and can influence wider society. This study focuses on understanding how perceived value (the benefits users expect) and perceived risk (the fears users have) impact the adoption of digital payment services among IT employees in Hyderabad. Studying these factors is important because it helps companies and policymakers create better, safer and more attractive digital payment systems.

A quantitative research approach was used. Primary data was collected through a structured questionnaire distributed among selected IT employees working in Hyderabad. Statistical tools such as descriptive statistics, correlation, and regression analysis were used to examine the relationship between perceived value, perceived risk, and the adoption of digital payments.

The findings show that perceived value has a strong positive influence on digital payment adoption. When users believe that digital payments are convenient, fast, and beneficial, they are more likely to use them. On the other hand, perceived risk, including concerns over security, privacy, and fraud, has a negative effect on adoption. Users who feel more uncertain or fearful are less likely to adopt digital payments.

This study contributes to the understanding of user behavior in the digital financial space. It also offers practical suggestions for FinTech companies, banks, and policymakers to reduce perceived risks and increase the value proposition of their services to encourage wider digital payment usage among tech-savvy groups.

Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly disrupted the higher education sector, compelling Arts and Science college teachers to rapidly adapt to unprecedented teaching and working conditions. This study examines the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent new normal on job stress among Arts and Science college teachers in Chennai. The sudden transition to online teaching, increased workload, technological challenges, job insecurity, and difficulties in maintaining work–life balance during lockdown periods contributed substantially to elevated levels of job stress. Furthermore, psychological factors such as anxiety, fear of infection, and emotional exhaustion intensified stress during the pandemic phase.

In the post-pandemic new normal, teachers continue to experience stress due to hybrid teaching models, increased academic expectations, and adaptation to digital pedagogy, and institutional performance pressures. The study highlights that while some stressors have reduced with the resumption of physical classes, new forms of occupational stress have emerged, indicating the long-term impact of the pandemic on the teaching profession. The findings emphasize the need for effective institutional support systems, stress management interventions, and policy measures to safeguard the mental well-being and professional effectiveness of college teachers. The study contributes valuable insights for educational administrators and policymakers in addressing job stress in higher education institutions during crisis and post-crisis periods.

Abstract: In today’s competitive world Information technology sector is developing day by day that is featured by long working hours, prolonged screen time, continuous client service, rapid technological innovations all these contribute to dominate work stress and professional job out among employees. As a result of these stressors the employees are unable to balance their professional and personal life that ultimately lead to conflict in their personal life. The study analyses the impact of work stress and burn out on employee Job satisfaction which will adversely affect the organisation sustainability. The study also aims to examine the relationship between the variables and determine how they are collectively influence employee Job satisfaction and performance. Data for the study were collected through structure questionnaire that measures the factors affecting the work-related stress and employee satisfaction. The findings indicate an adverse relationship between the work stress and job satisfaction shows that higher levels of work stress and burn out will lead to decreased satisfaction at work. The study concludes the need for effective stress management measures, support systems and well-being initiatives to improve job satisfaction.

Abstract: Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are pivotal in driving global economic development, accounting for approximately 90% of businesses and over 50% of employment worldwide. However, they face challenges in accessing finance from formal institutions, constraining their financial and non-financial operations. This study sought to assess the effect of loan financing on the financial performance of hardware SMEs. It was guided by three specific objectives based on client appraisal process, access to microcredit and credit rationing on the financial performance of the selected Small and Medium Enterprises. The research was anchored information asymmetry theory, the 5Cs credit model and credit rationing theory. The study used descriptive and correlation research designs. The sample size was 94 selected from 122 respondents using stratified random sampling method. Data was collected using structured questionnaires while the data was analyzed and presented using SPSS version 26. Findings on regression analysis revealed the model was significant (F=120.368, p < 0.05) and explained 81.1% of the variation in financial performance (R²=0.811). Coefficient estimates showed that client appraisal had a significant negative effect (β₁=–0.449, p < 0.05), access to microcredit had a significant positive effect (β₂=0.476, p < 0.05), and credit rationing had a significant negative effect (β₃=–0.264, p<0.05). The study concludes that while increased access to microcredit enhances SME performance, rigid appraisal procedures and credit rationing impede growth. The researcher recommends improved SME financial literacy, more flexible lending models and supportive government policies, including credit guarantee schemes, to boost SME access to finance and long-term sustainability.

Abstract: The widespread global shift to remote work has significantly transformed organizational structures, prompting an essential evaluation of its effects on employee engagement, a key element of organizational effectiveness. This research was conducted at Weza Care Solutions in Kenya and focused on how remote work setting, internal communication approaches, existing organizational culture and the quality of management support together affect employee engagement. Grounded in the Social Exchange Theory and the Job Demands-Resources Model, the study utilized a descriptive and correlational case study design. Primary data was gathered through a structured questionnaire distributed to all remote employees of Weza Care Solutions. Data analysis incorporated both descriptive and inferential statistics, employing Pearson correlation and multiple regression, along with thematic analysis of qualitative feedback. Findings revealed a significant correlation between remote working environment and employee engagement, where (r=0.770; p-value =0.000). The results show that communication of the Weza Care Solutions have a significant impact on employee engagement (r=0.863; p-value =0.000). It further indicates significant correlation between organizational culture and employee engagement, where (r=0.871; p-value =0.000). The study's results show that the management support have a significant impact on employee engagement (r=0.841; p-value =0.000). The study recommends the introduction of clear remote work policy that defines communication expectations, working hours, and feedback timelines. There is also a need to adopt and enforce the use of a unified digital platform across all departments to streamline collaboration and reduce operational fragmentation.

Abstract: The customer-centric approach in payment banks has become a critical factor in enhancing service delivery and satisfaction in the digital financial landscape. This study employs the Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA) test to examine the influence of demographic variables such as gender, age, education, and occupation on customer perceptions of payment banks. Dependent variables included aspects like friendliness, security, privacy, technology advancement, and ease of transactions. Additionally, challenges in payment services were analyzed using Kendall’s W Test, and customer opinions in Sivaganga District were evaluated through the One-Sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test. The findings reveal significant insights into customer perceptions and barriers, providing actionable recommendations for payment banks to improve their services.

Abstract: Health insurance is a financial mechanism that provides coverage for medical expenses incurred due to illness, injury, or hospitalization. It helps individuals manage healthcare costs by transferring the financial risk to an insurance provider. In India, health insurance is offered by both public and private sector insurance companies with varying features, benefits, and premium structures. Both Primary and Secondary data has been used for the study. Primary data has been collected from structured interview schedule. The sample size for the study is 150. The sampling technique used for the study is convenience sampling method. The findings of the study shows that the results reveal that Coverage and Benefits is the most significant factor influencing policyholders.

Abstract: By substituting electronic devices for paper in routine financial operations, green banking aims to simplify banking transactions and reduce the need for paper records. The industry, banks, and economy will all gain from this "Green Banking" strategy. Abstract: The pandemic due to COVID-19 has resulted in major changes in the consumer behavior amongst which the eating habits and adding natural supplements are the most significant ones. This study deals with the potential behavioral patterns that consumers may have during the new norma phase with a special focus on the Madurai district. Furthermore, It looks at the factors that have played the most important role in the pattern of people’s attitudes towards the trending items in the field of natural and health-related products. Such elements as the adoption of a new lifestyle style, people's understanding of health, and their purchasing preferences are given as the main drivers in this process. Other than that, it shows the up-going number of demands for organic food, the factor of immune-boosting supplements, and the locally sourced products on the other side. In addition, it investigates the impact of technology on designing the consumer's choice of purchases in the period of the pandemic. The survey hope by researching and understanding the alterations in human behavior to add the latest data to businesses and policymakers and thus, help them adapt their strategies to the client's wishes.
